Wallace Brewing has been open since 2008 with 8 beers in the tasting room. They have a tv and a pool table with seating inside plus 4 tables of 4 on the sidewalk. They do not sell food but outside food is welcome. Tyler was working behind the bar and he was very engaging. He told me about the brewery and some of their top sellers which are the Red Light Irish Red Ale and 1910 Black Lager. Both were very good and I ordered the 1910 - dark, malty flavors with the light to medium weight of a lager. It was great! I'm a tourist passing through, but whether you're a local or from 2,000 miles away like my family you'll find a great beer at Wallace Brewing

This is true and there are multiple signs advising so, both prior to entering and just inside the door. What's the big deal you may ask. Aside from a brewey with no food being specifically for adults not being too far out, and for those who may want to avoid (or look for it), the mens room is adorned with full playboy spreads which could be controversial for junior. So, the environment & products are targeted to adults. The interior has mining decor and pinup decor, a bar top, pool table and a few tables with chairs. The beer we had was good for one and above average for the other. The wheat (with lemon wheel garnish) was a surprisingly tasty treat. It was out of the way for us but is right off the highway, so, convenient for a lot of people & the town itself is quirky. As you can see, it's the center of the universe & they have the manhole to prove it!

Great food, hospitality, restaurant, and beer. I ordered a flight off of the drink menu and I ended up just ordering all four of their ciders since I was very interested in the flavors. My favorites were the Bluebird and huckleberry but all four were great. I also got the PBJ burger which was one of the most unique burgers I've ever had and also one of the best. It has a super interesting dynamic with the peanut butter and jalapeno jam. I didn't have any beer myself but everyone in my family loved their pecan porter, so order that for sure. I wasn't able to see the entire brewery but it looks really cool from the inside. Definitely come here.

I ordered the French Onion burger, and while I unfortunately forgot to snap a picture before diving in, it was amazing--smothered in rich sautéed onions, a generous slab of melted Swiss cheese, and creamy mayonnaise, all served with a side of rich au jus for dunking. Truly delicious from the first bite to the last. The decor gives the place so much personality, right down to the unique bathroom setup! You step up a couple of steep steps behind the door, and the sink is made from half of a wine barrel--definitely a fun first for me. On top of the great food and ambiance, the staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!
