I would not allow Linda to be my tech again. She was trying to upsell me too hard. She kept trying to push gel polish on me. I said no, yet she tried several more times, it was annoying and offensive. Then she tried to sell me on waxing. I told her I'm allergic to wax, she then told me that putting Vaseline on afterwards would help. Excuse me, is she a doctor? She tried to upsell my pedicure service as well. Lastly, I repeatedly told her not to cut my cuticles. And first she said, "a little bit". I said "no, none". Then I caught her three times trying to cut them! I was so aggravated with her. Between her not listening to my wants and listening to her sob story about how much she is struggling as a single mother, she definitely sucked the relaxation out of my appointment. Thank goodness she painted my toes well.

The service was pricey but seems that's all the salons now. $135 for a full set plus pedicure. Not sure about their sanitation practices either. I wasn't paying close attention at the time but I suspect some on the brushes and pumice stone had been previously used.

The chemicals in a perm cause my hair to break off on the rods. My hair is already thin. It is extremely thin and and very fine. My perms often don't take and are back straight as a stick within the week. I am 70 years old and this has been a life long struggle. I decided to get another perm. Which after getting in touch with Wendie at "More Good Hair Days Salon" I decided to entrust to her. She knew the history of my hair. Not because she had done it before but because we discussed it.
