The reason they are the best, they have the best facilities, all their locations are clean (my favorite is a Macon). The staff is very friendly, helpful and very discreet. As a man it can be awkward going in to a place full of women, but they make you feel comfortable. My Esthetician, was very kind and didn't make it awkward. I usually get my butt and strip waxed and they do it quick and painlessly. I don't ever have breakouts in that area. I always visit the bathroom to ensure all areas a presentable. I want to try a Manzilian but I live in ATL and it's a 90 min drive to their location. I use to visit more frequently when I traveled for work. My only wish is they had a few locations north like even McDonough. It would take me only 45 min and trust me, it's worth the drive. They have the best prices and they don't over charge me like in Atlanta. I have very little and fine hair on the areas they wax so it is faint easy and quick to wax me (a man of color). In Atlanta they automatically assume I have hair like my counterparts and over charge me. So I don't use places that do that I will wait until I visit WaxStrip and have it done. As a man I encourage everyone that has a WaxStrip near them to visit. The have licensed and certified staff. Men if you go in for service, be sure to hit the restroom to ensure all areas being waxed are presentable, that will save time and money. Also men their are only a couple folks that can wax men the manager and a lovely young lady with tattoos. I forget her name. But they both are great! I'm not sure who was running the desk on 8/8/26, but I had made an appointment for 10:30, and at 10:45, she hadn't even acknowledged that it was past my time or that the next available person was going to see me. She just sat there on her phone. When I asked for a refund, she called her manager and then tried to lie saying I just wanted to leave.

I've now got uneven layers, choppy sections that don't fit and highlighted blonde to stand out and show how uneven they are, uneven sides underneath that make one side appear too thick and one too thin, and she colored DARK brown at my neck which I specifically didn't ask for, and it highlights the uneven haircut even more. It's a nightmare to try to fix and definitely wasn't worth the nearly $300 I paid for what equated to a poorly executed Great Clips haircut. How she saw this haircut and thought she did a decent job is beyond me. I even complained about it at the end and she said to live with it for a few days then let her know if I wasn't happy, but I'm not going back to pay MORE for her to fix this atrocious mess she made.

I am writing this regarding my daughter's recent color service. She requested lighter blonde pieces to frame her face; however, the result was noticeably orange and brassy. When she contacted Courtney to discuss a correction, she was informed that her previously colored hair prevented the desired lighter blonde outcome. While we understand that prior color can affect results, her primary request at that point was simply to have the tone adjusted to reduce the brassiness. Given my own extensive experience with blonde color services over the years, I have never had it turn that color. We were also disappointed to learn that she was offered a corrective appointment at an additional charge to address an issue that resulted from the initial service. I would have hoped that they would stand behind their mistake and make things right. However, that was not the case.
