Popped in this morning for a combination package without an appointment. my wait wasn't too bad, and the young lady at the front desk kindly answered any questions I had. I wish I had a better memory for names because my aesthetician was absolutely WONDERFUL! (I want to say her name was Maria, but I may be completely wrong.) She was extremely friendly, worked swiftly, and my Brazilian barely hurt compared to what I remembered having had with past waxes. This was my first time here and my first time getting a Brazilian wax. I've heard stories from other women that the first time is always the worst but in my first experience, I was actually quite surprised that it didn't hurt as bad as from the stories I've heard. it does sting for a little bit but that stinging goes away. I have been using The Wax Strip since 2014. I have been to every location but now get most of my waxing done on Bass Road since I live close by. The staff are always professional while being personable at the same time. Sometimes there is a wait, which is to be expected when someone is taking their time to make their current client happy. They are now accepting appointments if you are in a time crunch. I normally wait but have made appointments before. They also sell Hempz products which I love. read more

This was my first ever visit to a waxing strip as a guy. 100% would recommend to my male and female comrades alike. The staff were super friendly and were super nice. The best part, guy or girl, they don't make it feel awkward at all. I had Taylor, and her hands were light and nothing felt more than a pinch--much better than the diy kits at home !! There are so many options to from the individual services themselves, the packages, or the monthly special. The pic shows my eyebrows not only waxed, but tinted to perfection. Tinting is a great alternative to having to do your eyebrows everyday for work or up-keeping your daily appearance. It saves me so much time in the morning! read more

This is only my second time having a Brazilian done. both times by this wax strip on bass rd. it's always a welcoming vibe. it's always comfortable. no awkwardness at all. And my bits never feel as good as they do after waxin. All staff members are always super nice! I have never had a bad experience with anyone waxing me. Their packages make it super convenient especially for students. I never feel like products are being forced on me but are only recommended when necessary. I will say they get VERY busy so I always make an appointment either online or calling the store! Maria was amazing! I invest in the packages here because all the ladies are wonderful! Brazilians can be painful but these ladies know what they're doing and they are extremely fast.
