Halo halo
Yvonne V.

Great option at food court of mall. Cafeteria style setting. Ordered the 1 combo option which included choice of rice, pancit or half/half. Opted for the chicken adobo and everything tasted so authentic! Forgot to take a picture of the combo but got one of my halo halo which was also delish! Service was friendly and quick.

This place is very clean. Service is superb. They are all too friendly. The serving is decent for the price. And the food preparation is very authentic. Can't beat the price.

Molds

I went there today but food for dinner around 5-ish and the other food was ok but this desert is real bad... got molds on it and they have it out next to the cashier I guess they don't check if it's still ok or not. So costumer pay attention to what you buy/get...

Mango boba, taro boba, cookies & cream and Thai Iced Tea

Love Lilian's Bread & Sweets and we are so happy that they opened up this location on Nordhoff & Sepulveda. Since they opened we frequent this place. They not only offer delicious drinks and traditional Filipino food, they also provide excellent customer service. The ladies that make our drinks and assist in prepping with our food orders are always pleasant and courteous. Always with a smile along with the, "Good afternoon po". The chicken and pork barbecue is a must try. Very flavorful and not too sweet just the right amount of seasoning. The lechon kawali always fresh and crispy and not all fat. As for their hopia mongo, it is the best hopia mongo in the SFV. Also if you haven't tried their chicken empanada and turon (filled with banana and jackfruit), you're missing out. Last but not the least their Mangonada, mango boba, taro boba, cookies & cream boba and Thai Iced Tea has the right amount of flavor. The drinks and boba are really good and not too sweet. Mangonada is filled with mangos on the top while the cookies & cream boba is just the right amount of Oreos. Thai Iced Tea you can taste the tea and not the cream nor sugar which is how I'm normally like my Thai Iced Tea not too sweet. Lilian's Bread & Sweets is our go to place to satisfy our Filipino food & desserts cravings.

Pork Adobo on left and beef steak on right.

Amazing Filipino food. The empanada and bakery items are the best. Really good adobo and beef steak!! I'll be back and will refer many friends.

Food is good, but doesn't warrant the price. A three item combo is $17. Most likely my first and last.

The halo halo is the best I've ever had around the valley. The service is great and the ambiance is like a fast food joint.

I usually order this same meal and genuinely love it, but today just felt like a miss. The toast was extremely thin and hard--almost more like a crisp than bread. I asked if there was another option or even just a different slice, but was told that all the bread was like that, which was surprising since that hasn't been my experience here before. The house-made jam was also off today--it was much more watery than usual and didn't have that same rich texture I'm used to. The potatoes were underwhelming as well--lacking seasoning and slightly burnt. I will say, the server was kind and did bring out a vegan date pastry after I had already received my bill, which I appreciated. It just wasn't something I would typically choose, and nothing was adjusted on the bill. For the price, I just expected more consistency and care, especially from a place I usually really enjoy. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but today it just wasn't up to par. I'm hoping this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past and would love to see them get back to that.

The chicken was…read morevery moist and well seasoned, the rice is always a great filling side especially when you're starving. Don't even get me started on their little fruit bowls with the cream ball thing and Nutella sauce dip they serve with the breakfast! Drinks are phenomenal. I'm a huge sweet cream type of girl, so the butterscotch is my go to. I'm a creature of habit and I highly recommend this drink to anyone who has a sweet tooth with a coffee addiction. Don't get me started on how nice the place feels and looks inside. Like a lot of people described, it is super cozy and welcoming. They have a big mirror near the entrance you can take pictures with your friends at, and as a girl, I looove it haha. There's two levels, like a loft area you can chill at if you like towering over all the other customers. I love high places so that's my favorite spot to chill. The store itself is very well themed and the decore is pretty cool. Service was even better. The good looking guy with curly hair (I think his name is Luis) who serves me on occasion is always so sweet and polite, great customer service skills. Too bad for me he has a gf, but we looove a loyal king who loves his girl! The other employees are great too btw everyone has a great attitude every time I've been, they handle the stress of the rushes well and are easy to relate to. They make it feel less as a transaction, and more like seeing a friendly acquaintance you get to catch up with. Clearly Yellowhouse has employees who know what they're doing with being not only efficient, but delivering quality drinks and service. Great all around, 10/10 would recommend.

If you cannot get street parking in front of the cafe, you are better off parking in the Harbor Freight parking lot off Nordhoff and taking the 2 minute walk. Yellow House is nestled between other small businesses but you won't miss the entrance as it is highlighted by a big yellow wall. Ambiance: The exterior of the building almost plants the idea that the cafe will be small, but once entering the building you get a different feeling. The interior is spacious even having 2 stories. The interior exudes a calm, cozy, minimalistic feel. It really does feel like you are walking into a warm inviting yellow home, albeit a little loud and busy. There is a good amount of natural light coming from all the windows and depending on the time of year, they also decorate for each holiday. Drinks: We have gotten the tiramisu iced latte, creme brulee matcha, Earl grey Matcha, and Strawberry matcha, and sea salt caramel americano. Order all drinks half sweet or you'll get a cavity- heed the warning of this tooth fairy. But in all seriousness, their drinks are SWEET so be aware. All of the drinks taste like what they advertise though which is amazing! If you're looking for top tier matcha quality this isn't the place, this isn't Rocky's matcha but if you're in sheer desperation and ache for some green drink derived from leaves, it'll work. Service: Everyone is nice and the drinks come out pretty quickly considering their crafted nature. Overall: There's a reason we keep coming back! It's reliable, has lots of cool varieties, and consistent! Although I will say a bit overpriced, but that seems to be everywhere these days so eh.
