This is my go to chinise take out place! Good food, good service and good price. The best pork chop in all of the chinise take outs in NYC.

We have been a long time customer of LiLi for 5+ years. For 4years or so, food was impeccable, delicious, speedy. Workers were so friendly and accommodating. The past few months service has gone down. Food quality decreased. My brother in law found an actual bug in his food. We tried to keep going after the bug. We live about a 3-5 min quick drive away from the restaurant. Our 2nd to last order took 1.5 hours - including a call at the hour mark to check up on it since it was so unusual. No one would answer if the order was out for delivery besides the "manager". Food eventually came so it was fine. This last order Saturday night sealed the fate. Hour after placing order, I called and again only the "manager" could comment on my order status. Said they would call me. 10+ mins later got a call with a simple "your order is on the way". That's it. 50 mins later the food got there. Mind you this order was a small lo Mein and 2 combos. 2+ hours for this small order is insane. Didn't even bother to include anything to be like I'm sorry we made you wait 2 hours here's an egg roll or can of soda. I personally loved the delivery man- he was always a delight, literally would sing to me and dance. He was delivering to me to 4 apartments and always would be so shocked when I answered the door at a new place. Sad not to deal with him but not worth The headache. read more

Seems like they changed their chef. I have been eating here for years growing up and instantly could tell the new flavor of their beef and broccoli. Slightly disappointed but still good prices for Chinese food. read more

So this place is getting a one star from me. First off when I order in person they're nice but they do forget things frequently and I have to go back and get it again. I ordered delivery today and the driver was given a $3 tip for going a couple of blocks he called my wife a cheap B**** and spat at the floor to her. She was super angry and wanted to press charges but we let him go. We won't ever order from this place again the customer service is the worst from them. read more

I know I've written reviews for them before, but I had to again. Over the years their food stayed consistent. I moved about 2 miles away couple years ago and tried countless chinese food in the area that are just blah. I used to just drive by on my way home from work even though I have others close by. Luckily I'm able to still order from them through the beyond menu app. Thank you for always making my beef & broccoli extra spicy ON POINT and hubby loves his crispy general tso's! read more

This place is the worst I ordered chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce the lady made the wrong order and made it with mixed vegetables. I told her I have a soy allergy that's why I ordered in garlic sauce and I can't eat soy beans that's in the vegetables. She tells me that's not soy beans that's string beans. She didn't know the difference between the two . I had to end up throwing away my food and eatting somewhere else I didn't want to get confrontational with these people. They also gave no sauces with their food when I asked for all sauces. My co worker had to eat dry general Tso chicken. This place deserves 0 stars read more

I love the food here, but the delivery guy is so RUDE. At first I couldn't understand what he was trying to say to me, he kept gesturing towards the money he was holding. He started telling at me after a few moments "TIP", when I realized I didn't tip. It was an honest mistake, but I don't need a delivery guy yelling at me when I'm home alone for $1 tip. read more

Placed an online order to be delivered. Received a text confirmation and that the ETA was 30 minute. After almost an hour still did not receive my food. I called and they said they dont have my order, even though i have a confirmation. No explanation just sorry we don't have it!!! read more

This Chinese restaurant is one of the better Chinese American take-out places available in the area. The only other place that is acceptable is probably Halal Kitchen which is a little further back into Maspeth. There isn't too much to say in terms of restaurant decor, it is a pretty run down looking Chinese take-out place which is manned by two or three people. The woman who works there isnt the friendliest but again she mans that station from 9am till 11pm so who can blame her. The only reason for this review is because when you want Chinese-takeout this is one of the best places to head to and this is because the food is actually okay. 1. Beef/Chicken and Broccoli - Always excellent with a thick brown sauce with broccoli that is never over cooked or undercooked 2. Chow Fun - Unlike many other places the Chow Fun here doesn't break apart and isnt over cooked; moreover they will always make alterations for you such as no veggies and no bean sprouts 3. General Tsao - The chicken here is not the best as they use small pieces of chicken which are really breaded. They are almost like popcorn chicken with general tsao sauce. 4. Wonton Soup - Really thick skinned wontons in the regular glowing yellow broth; not worth your time. I generally stick with the diet coke. Delivery is always prompt and remember to open the containers when you get them because they keep on cooking otherwise. read more

I enjoy their super fast delivery along with their fried rice. Very important since it's apart of most dishes you purchase. I'm originally from Long Island and have been through a slew of chinese restaurants and found the fried rice to be quite unenjoyable.. I LOVE lili's.. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I call sometimes and I've had my order slightly backwards.. While I asked for chicken and broccoli combo with more fried rice and less chicken and broccoli they had it wrong. Only problem one time!! So thumbs up! Keep on cooking your delicious fried rice that enhances just about all dishes!! And customers beware of the speedy delivery. I have been ordering from LiLi's for years. However, today will mark my last day. I ordered shrimp and broccoli but they delivered me chicken instead. When I called and requested they resend my order, the woman that answered the phone was so rude! Not only did she try to flip her mistake on me, but she then tried to send me shrimps in a separate platter. When I denied her not so clever solution, she said she was going to charge me extra plus requested I return the chicken & broccoli. GROSS! I don't even want to know what they did wit the food. Lili is a good place to go if you want a quick and relatively cheap lunch. I usually go for the chicken lomein or chicken and broccoli lunch special. The lunch specials come with a soup or soda, for around $6, and it'll definitely fill you up! Sometimes, I even have leftovers to save for a second meal. I've been going to this place for over 15 years. My favorite Chinese take out place. Pretty much every thing is decent. My go to dishes are the beef and broccoli, boneless spare ribs, and General Tso's chicken. Also special mention on their fried chicken wings and pork fried rice are great as well. Their wontons also have a good serving of meat inside, a lot of other Chinese take out places don't have much filling. The staff are friendly and delivery is usually quick, well I guess that's also since I lived about 3 blocks away. read more
