I wanted the edamame which was listed on the special of the day menu but they said they ran out...Go figure....so they should erase it off the specials of the day...they only had two things on the list, someone should have realized they didn't have any. The food is good and so are the drinks. The staff are pleasant. The shrimp egg foo young was good and the gravy made it better. The shrimp and lobster sauce was well cooked no issues. Lee's is a great place for a night out. I come here quite a bit with my roommates and friends and we always have a good time. The atmosphere is nice, I love the decorations and especially the fish tank! I usually get the general Tso chicken meal with wonton soup and it's always great. One other time I got chicken lo mein and it was not as great, it Had a fishy taste that I'm not into. I need to get the pupu platter from here some time but all my friends are vegetarian! It's a Chinese American restaurant with a full bar. I'm convinced that people love the idea that it offers drinks more than anything else. The food tastes like regular Chinese American food really. They offer a few Spanish food items to accommodate the neighborhood I suppose. But, the shrimp diablo just tasted like sweet and sour shrimp with a few peppers and onions. The majority of my experiences here have been carry-out. Food's always ready within ten minutes. I typically get sesame chicken, but recently got General Tso's -- the inventor of the dish passed away last week; it was only right. Both are excellent. My girlfriend's go-to is the egg-drop wonton soup--thick, rich, savory. Inside, during the day, this place can be a party. There's definitely a group of raucous regulars, but the waitstaff indulges them, and even partakes. You have to admire a restaurant that displays a rather large shot menu on its wall, which includes "BLOW JOB" and other fun options. I'm serious, this place is fun. Glad to have it nearby. read more

I've been coming to Lee's for a few years now and the food, service and drinks are so good, I never leave dissapointed. I always order Garlic Shrimp spanish style with Pork Fried Rice (soooooo good) and a Red Devil with double shots :) I like the Chicken Wings and Ribs as well. The Cucaracha Shot is worth getting just for the aesthetics. They bring you a shot and they light it and you have to drink it through a straw. Pretty cool. The waiters are cool, always welcoming. I stopped for takeout....Bad idea! The food was old, reheated. Fried rice was so dry as if it had been reheated over and over. The ribs were encrusted with burnt sauce and they were so dry it was as if they were meatless. The only edible food item was the egg roll and only because they don't make it there, they just fry and bag it. Tonight, we had two dishes: the Volcano Steak, which was whiskey-flamed, and a mixed seafood dish in a wonton "nest." The steak chewed like teriyaki brisket- not the worst thing. The seafood components were all real-ish, the vegetables done well. There is no ambience to speak of; the staff is efficient and nice enough. For starters the general tso chicken is made with a spicy and sweet red sauce that is way better then the brown sauce other places usually use. The fried rice has pieces of egg it and is always good.
