They were very honest, and told me that one of the lamps, although old, was fine and didn't need anything replaced! The 2nd lamp only needed a new socket, and the 3rd lamp only required a new plug! They were helpful and professional and I highly recommend them!

They have a TON of lights to choose from, many different styles, and plenty of catalogs to flip through. They'll also let you take a few home if you need some time to choose. In addition to lighting for every room in the house, they sell under-cabinet lighting, outdoor fixtures, and lots of ceiling fans too. For me, the catalogs are where it's at. I like mid-century modern style and there are plenty of fixtures in the Kichler catalog to suit my taste. Also, check out ET2 catalog.. wow! Susan helped us with our purchase and she was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The owner, Gary, was also really nice. We've already returned to order a new fixture for the guest bedroom. We will definitely be repeat customers. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have shopped here several times now for lighting as we renovate our home. The in-store selection is incredible and the catalog offerings are even better. The staff is super knowledgeable and very helpful. We ordered custom lighting on 2 separate occasions and have had no problems. The lights arrived quickly and were perfect. We plan to shop here as we make our way through the house. If you're into cookie-cutter "boob lights", just go to the big retailers. But, if you want something that no one else will have, this is the place. Highly recommend.

A 2.3 rating for this Home Depot is far too low, especially if the nearby Lowe's is a 2.4. In my…read moremind, there is no comparison--Home Depot consistently provides the more enjoyable shopping experience. Reading the reviews for both, I think I understand in a way that suggests both ratings (which is an average of the individual ratings) are misleading. People tend to either love (5 star) or hate (1 star) their experience at both stores. Personally, I've had a range of experiences at both stores such that I wouldn't 5-star or 1-star either, but while there is so much that is similar about these two stores, Home Depot sets itself apart with more available and helpful staff. One other reviewer here was critical because all that a Home Depot associate did to help them was to point them toward the right aisle. For me, that's all I would expect--and if I needed more department-specific advice, I would find someone in that aisle. (I personally don't want someone in the garden section advising me on electrical wiring! In fact, I'm impressed that a garden person would even know what electrical aisle number to suggest to me.) Home Depot = 4; Lowe's = 2.
