I like the fact that he called to tell me he was on his way and the time it would take to get to my house. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them. The websites of many locksmiths stated they were 24 hours, but when I called they were unable to help. Central Philadelphia locksmith actually was able to arrive in 45 minutes and take on what ended up being a significant project. They did great work that night, I later hired them for another project and even referred friends there. This has become my go to locksmith in Philadelphia. I haven't been disappointed yet.

I looked up the parts that they installed and they were the exact same parts by the exact same company as the ones sold at Lowes Hardware. When I confronted them with this information they just tried to convince me that I was mistaken. It wasn't worth a lawsuit, but in my opinion they're dishonest and should not be trusted.
