We hired Emeka from Pop-A-Lock to install two deadbolts at our home and he did an excellent job. He was available to do the work on a Saturday and Sunday, which was convenient for us as we work during the week. The installation of the deadbolts was not the most straightforward task, as there was no previous deadbolt in either of the two doors. That meant that, in addition to re-keying both a single cylinder and a double cylinder deadbolt to our existing keys, Emeka had to drill and cut holes in the doors and doorframes for the deadbolt to be installed. He knew the correct placement of the deadbolt to make each door the most secure and made sure to explain everything that he was doing so that we would understand the process. Emeka really took his time re-keying the locks and installing each deadbolt flawlessly. We definitely appreciate his attention to detail, which is clearly the mark of a professional. Emeka was also very friendly and personable, accommodating to our schedules, and easy to contact. Finally, for the amount of time that he spent installing our new deadbolts, the complicated nature of the installation, and for the quality of work that he performed, his price was very fair. At Toyota I was able to get the key price down and was told with programming it would be about $300 (I lost key chip and buttons in fob). Went for Toyota then tried to tell me it required extra programming because my car was older and would be an additional $100. At this point I'm irritated to be spending $400 for a key to my 2004 land cruiser. My husband immediately googled and found Pop-a-lock. Loved there fast response. I could not been be there when he showed up, he asked me for ID and proof of insurance and permission to work on car. I was called when he got there to make sure he had the right vehicle. Courtesy 100%. Dealership was going to cost me an arm and a leg Plus have my vehicle towed to the dealership and they couldn't do it till 3 days later. Pop-A-Lock did it the same day hassle free and a correctly. Emeka Okoli responded to a Saturday call to replace our front door lock, which was stripped and causing keys to get stuck in it. He came out , right on time , at noon . He replaced the lock, set it to accept our existing keys and cut some new ones to replace some of our keys that were too thick to work in the new lock. Emeka was cordial and very patient in explaining all the steps in the process. He chose the least expensive solution to our problem and was finished in one hour , for the quoted estimate , on a very hot weekend day. I had a single key for my Mazda 3 and I lost it. Thank goodness the doors were not locked. In my case, it was not an emergency. I called about 5pm. I was given an estimate over the phone a short time that same night. I approved the work, and he came out the next day. He arrived on time and reviewed the specifics of the job before he started. The work was done quickly and professionally. When he was finished, he reviewed what was done and asked me to try out the new keys and make sure I was pleased with his work. I was in need of a replacement for the long lost key to my 1996 Nissan Maxima. My experience with Pop-A-Lock Paoli was excellent. My car keys had been stolen, but thankfully my car was parked at home at the time. I called pop-a-lock after being turned down by other auto locksmiths due to my location in proximity to their shops. I left a message and Emeka returned my call promptly. Emeka at Pop-A-Lock in Paoli was the easiest, smoothest experience I could have gotten out of a getting a new car key fob replacement! Not only was he timely, he was also really kind and sincere which made the experience that much more pleasant. We called the dealership and they quoted me $3000!!! to reprogram the keys/lock and make me a new set. Emeka is a very great guy. Very friendly, professional, and skilled. I lost the only key to my 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille. Called around the city and none of them could do it. Fantastic, did research into the type of key I would need for a spare for my Kawasaki ninja motorcycle. He responded to my request quickly and I was able to meet him a couple hours later. I told him my current key was catching sometimes when turning, and he pointed out a nick that was causing a problem. In the end, he made me a better key than I started with. Emeka of Pop-A-Lock was extremely helpful and timely in helping me get replacement 'smart' keys made for my car. I had lost both of my original keys, so Emeka had to travel to my residence and make two keys on-site. He came out to our house within a few days of contacting him, and charged about 20% less than our dealer would have (and my dealer was going to also force me to pay to have my car towed to the dealership). I bought a 2023 Nissan Murano and was given one key. I went to a website which listed locksmiths that were able to do key fobs. I sent emails to the first three that were closest to my house. Two of the three elected not respond to the email. The other one was Pop-A-Lock who responded within an hour to my email.
