Merry Christmas to All, before you have your Christmas traditional dinners, I want to show you all…read morethe most awesome beef sandwich I have had in a long time, not to mention this is the first time I tried their beef. They have great burgers, cheesesteaks, and even Texas Weiner's, so how was the beef sandwich. This was on a warm bun; it did not taste toasted but definitely warm, they even branded their logo into the top which I have never seen any place do that before. This had a creamy horseradish sauce and loaded with beef and a side of their signature homemade Texas Au Ju. This was by far delicious in every way. The beef itself was tender, juicy, and just out of this world. Now, I decided to try their homemade sweet BBQ sauce on it which I really enjoyed, this combination blew the taste right out of this galaxy, they should add this as a required sauce, hint. I really enjoyed this sandwich. Now I got a side of their fries which were always good, always served nice and hot. I tried their Cole Slaw for something different; I liked it, it was more of a vinegar based the n the usual cream based, it was more on the dry side then wet but it had a real good taste to it. Their chicken noodle soup hit the spot on a colder day, full of chicken, noodles, celery, and it was served nice and hot. I could not have come here without doing some Hot Doggin' NEPA Style with their Texas Weiner. The service was also top notch. Until next time, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Really wanted to like it here. Good service. Nice ambience. Drinks were made well. I had the…read moreburrata salad. I had herbs on it that were inedible with stems Bread was tough to eat. Seemed stale. For 42 dollars I had 1 shrimp stuffed with crab meat. No lumping crab meat. Very mushy. A small bundle of vegetable with 2 carrots and 2 slices of squash. There was a crab cake that was mushy. The 4 ounce lamb chop was cooked nicely. Very pricey for mediocre quality. Also, there was a plastic like leaf on the plate that was inedible. Not many diners on a Saturday night. I have used to love it here. Prior to the pandemic it was awesome. I have tried 3 times since and it never improved to the prior standards. I will not be back. Too many great restaurants in the area to waste my time and money here.

They are on the right track!! Because they have been advertising heavily, this restaurant caught my…read moreattention and I wanted to try. One of my friends who is in the restaurant industry told me she heard poor reviews, so, guess what, we went to try without those friends!! We went with a group and happened to go for their valentine day special. Most got their special of "surf and turf", which was a very small piece of fillet and 4 shrimp. First off, I will say, the food itself was very good. No one was a fan of how this dish was presented, all on one large dish to be split by the couple. Once split, it cooled off quickly and looked more like an appetizer or tapas (small plate). My biggest recommendation would be quantity. For example, the salads were very, very skimpy. The "sides" with the surf and turf special were also, very skimpy. Now, we have dined all over the globe in very high end restaurants and understand quantity does not equate to quality, BUT, in this instance, it seems Isabellas is trying to make or remake their name in the local restaurant scene. They are doing so much right, just increase the quantity of a few of the items. For example, the special surf and turf dinner for two, had there been an ever so increase in the potato au gratin side and the spinach (which, I would also say, needed a bit of help, not bad, but one more like Ruth Chris's renowned creamed spinach) would have been better. So, I don't think making those servings just a wee bit larger would increase the cost of goods significantly, but would certainly go a long way in making the average diner feel more satisfied.
