First, I want to say my server was the best, very professional, polite, always making sure my food was good or if I needed anything. Now the dinner, the slaw was nice, cold and creamy, but not overdone, very tasty, I love a good slaw. Now honestly my mashed potatoes were also delicious, if they were docked up instant, I will be shocked, they tasted like real spuds. Now this is the first time I had country fried anything and I have to say OMG! The chicken was fried to perfection, nicely done but that gravy was the center of attention. You can taste all the seasonings like pepper but not overpowered. everything came out nice and hot. Thank you too The Grille for great service and food. You never let me down anytime I have been there. The extensive menu features a variety of brunch options, salads, and sandwiches. Their veggie options are a bit limited, but definitely present (ex: falafel salad, avocado toast), and many of the dishes feature unique combinations and homemade sauces/aiolis. I landed on the Smoked Salmon Avocado toast, which was fine. I was disappointed that it seemed to be made with prepackaged guacamole/avocado (I'm sure for cost reasons), and the bread was pretty thick so it was challenging to eat. Flavor-wise, it was solid, but I think I'll try one of the other, more creative options next time. My cousin chose their turkey sandwich and seemed to enjoy.
