The eggs tasted like they may have come from a carton. The staff was nice, but the service model was confusing. When I'm prompted to tip at checkout and there are tables and seating, I assume some level of table service. Instead, we picked up our own coffee, food, silverware, and napkins, and at the end, we also got the honor of bussing our own plates back to the counter. Full-circle dining experience. Next time, the same crepe was at least warm overall but the chicken mushroom crepe definitely was reheated in a pan. Coffees are pretty basic as well. But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I feel that some other places such as Julian's in Folsom and CT In Cameron Park were much better taste wise and if not for just the decor and ambiance I'd totally avoid this place.

It's a great place to stop before heading to Tahoe! I had a bagel with smoked salmon and it was AMAZING! NOT ONLY DID IT TASTE DELICIOUS, THE PRESENTATION WAS TOP NOTCH! Their operating hours are a work in progress. Check before going. At the time of this post, they were open Friday TO Sunday morning. But they are working on expanding hours.
