Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

However - EVERY time I have gone to Dynacare and had my blood taken by Cristina, the Lab Technician, whatever magic or needle sorcery she does - it's painless and over in seconds. And she has consistently taken it quickly and painlessly over the couple years I have gone, is always calm and pleasant, and puts me at ease telling me stories or jokes. I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. While I was waiting several regular patients came in that the staff had a friendly report with, which was nice to see. Thanks for being kind and taking care of the neighbourhood!

It's inside the Shoppers Drug Mart therefore not as big as other locations, since I'm not familiar with its setting, I hesitated a bit when I get there, but the front reception kept asking me to wait that it won't be long ... However, the nurse who took my blood test poked into my vein so painfully, that my arm got bruised even after a few days later. Don't know what went wrong, I thought Dynacare is a big company and their staff should be well-trained and proficient, very disappointed with the service provided

I had the paperwork from my Doctor along with my health card ready for the person at the service counter. Some services are not covered by OHIP and you'll have to pay upfront out of pocket. There's seating for about 20 people. The TV monitor on the wall displays the wait times before you're seen by a lab technician. Staff were polite and efficient. I was in/out in 30 minutes.

I've been here twice now and both times they were overbooked. They get folks through fairly quickly…read moreand efficiently but their scheduling results in the clients waiting outside on the street. First time the wait was annoying but a little more tolerable due to warm weather. Second visit, just like the first, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed. After 25 min waiting outside I finally got in out of the cold and was able to sit down. I'm a left leg amputee and standing for long periods is harder for me than most. There are no chairs or anything to sit on outside their office. Most disappointing is that the staff couldn't have cared less. I'm not looking for 5 star concierge service at a blood lab but I would have thought someone would have been concerned about the issue I raised. I just got silence and a too bad so sad look. It's conveniently located but for me that's all it has going for it. And be prepared that they will be well behind in their schedule.

It stated the wait time is 10 mins and I'm 3rd in the queue. When I arrived at 11:02, there were already 10 people in the waiting room! Their TV screen shows there are 2 ahead of me in the queue. At 11:15, my wait time is 7 mins with 1 person (supposedly) in front of me, but there are 10 people total in the waiting room! I really suspect that wait shows up on their TV screen are only the people using MyTurn. The screen used to reflect everyone in the room! At 11:22, I'm still at 7 mins wait. I spoke to the receptionist. She said she has been very busy with phone calls. She hasn't entered me into their local system yet, but assured me she will enter people in the order she received the requisitions! At 11:26, the receptionist finally entered the requisitions. I am at 7 mins and 26 mins! I asked the receptionist. She said I was supposed to inform her when I arrived! The website did not mention that! I was let in at 11:27! I had a male technician (I've never seen a male technician in all the years I've been at this location!). Right away, I could tell he is quite new and not confident. With all the reviews, it is very true theyre trying to annoy older tenants so they can increase rent with the newer tenants. The woman whose names starts with an L, dont bother she is the worst and never takes her job seriously. In all avoid, I think the people who actually come to fix things are much nicer than people running these apartments, but regardless there needs to be a clean up of people here. More educated people in the managing department who actually care, and are passionate with their job. These lousy ones dont know anything

So I woke up early to be here for 8am however when I got here they didn't have my test on file. So now an hour later or me trying to get a hold of my doc for the form again , today's reception called the head office and was able to get them to fax my form back to them. Bad thing is I'm waiting here and don't know how much longer it will be bit atleast they try everything possible today to help.

Not once did she complained but greeted everyone and took care of every person's needs. I highly recommended and will continue going there. The facility has been newly renovated so lots of seating area and really clean. Again highly recommended!
