Someone just finished at the check-in, so they attended me after 30 secs. The check-in process only took about 1 min. There is a computer monitor showing the patients and approximate wait time, including anyone with an appointment; there was one patient scheduled at 08:15. There are 4 cubicles. Cubicle 4 has a door that closes and has a medical bed. I was asked to go into cubicle 4 at 08:24. The technician started at 08:29. I finished at 08:32. I was told that Saturdays are their busiest day but starting at 10:00. I'm glad I came early. There were three technicians, one of whom handled the reception. There is a fourth person who seems to only do administration. The lab is wheelchair accessible.There is no free WiFi. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is wheelchair accessible. I was in poor health and was unable to followup. Just recently, my three physicians received the results (which was confirmed) with my inquiry based on the requisitions. However, my daughter's fertility clinic also received my lab results. It is serious problem that MY results with personal information were mishandled and carelessly shared to a clinic based on my and my daughter's last name? Fortunately, the clinic brought this to my daughter's attention. I contacted LifeLabs again. Two times I was told the onis was on me to find out how this clinic received my results. This is not possible because I am not a patient there and they cannot devulge this information. After the first complaint the promised escalation and enquiry never happened and was blown off after the second attempt to get this looked into. It is infuriating that this happened, but the refusal to look into this by LiveLabs demonstrates a lack of interest in investigating and resolving how patients records are handled. How often does this situation occur and patients are unaware of the mishandling of private personal medical information? Mistakes happen, but the refusal on the part of LifeLabs to investigate and address this issue is egregious and irresponsible. A lawsuit is waiting to happen!

After more than an hour of waiting past my appointment time, I inquired as to the wait and found that the lab was unable to access the electronic order sent by my doctor. Not a big deal, except that the staff had no intention to communicate this to me or to try to get the information from my doctor. It's likely the staff would've let me continue to wait and rot in the reception room if I didn't ask if they were going to do anything/contact my doctor. I continued to wait and was eventually moved to a clinical room despite the lab still having no physician's order. I was fed up of the staff's inaction and excuses, and called the doctor, and the order was resent within five minutes. If LifeLabs is having technical trouble/unable to open an electronic document direct from a physician, the staff should try to rectify the issue.

They open at 8:00 am so I was able to get everything done before work. You walk downstairs and there is a bright-lit waiting area. Upon arrival you are immediately greeted and asked for your referral document. It was only a short wait and I was asked to move to a second waiting area. It reminded me of a change room in a department store. Small rooms but everything was medical white. The woman directing me around was very friendly, polite, professional, and presented herself well. She told me which rooms to go to and everything was completely easy. Both technicians were friendly and thorough. This clinic is efficient and everything was done in no time! The technicians are not qualified to work with the public. Many working at Canadian Blood Services do not speak English. There was a big screw up on me in June 2024 as there machine was broken and was not properly service. I received a call the next day that my liver may be damaged because of contaminated blood. The Canadian Government needs to step in for Public Safety.

My arm was feeling better, bruising had stopped, so I went back to the sport where I had injured it. I played one game and triggered the same pain within the muscle. A few months ago, I put up a comment up about Steve Makrinos who is a partner at Nutrivenus and KX Yorkville about a most terrible experience I encountered with him due to their lack of professionalism and genuine empathy for their customers. As a vindictive reaction, they went after a company I work with to give them a low rating/feedback - even though they had nothing to do with the situation. In turn, they promised if I removed the comment from YELP and FACEBOOK, they would remove the comment they left for the company who I worked with and would issue me a refund for the portion of the service I did not use. After I took down the comment, they removed the comment on the company's page (who had and never had anything to do with them) and did not honour their word to make the refund. I had originally purchased a 10 pack treatment ($2000) to have vitamins injected through an IV treatment. I gave 1 away and ended up using a total of 4 treatments for myself. I began to notice that I was having a reverse reaction to it on the 2nd and 3rd trial... I gave it one more shot in hopes that changing up the formula would help. Unfortunately, it did not. I know a few people who have used this product and they are happy with it. My concern is not the product but the people who are behind the business, especially given that they are running a business that is administering to peoples health. They were rude, demeaning and very hostile from the very beginning of us trying to come to a resolution. Their solution was to have me come in for more treatments. When I refused this, they said I could use the $1000 as a credit to purchase products ($1000 to spend of frivolous products from a store I was not interested in purchasing from - KX Yorkville). Finally, Steve agreed to refund the 5 treatments but not at the price I paid. Instead he would refund my 5 treatments based on me having purchased all 10 at regular price (which was never part of the original sale) which would have them refunding only $500 of the balance. His last email to me was stating that I would only be able to come back and continue the treatment. I don't have to say anything bad about Steve or his company, their actions speaks volumes on theirw own. If you are looking to have vitamins administered through an IV be sure to research the company fully and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY with these guys. Aside from not doing my full research on these guys, I should have never taken down the negative experience feedback I had initially put up. I have been in contact with governing bodies regarding the company's practices and the authorities. Should they decide to continue to directly or indirectly harass and/or slander me, I will see to it that they will be held responsible for their actions and unethical business practices.

I've been here twice now and both times they were overbooked. They get folks through fairly quickly…read moreand efficiently but their scheduling results in the clients waiting outside on the street. First time the wait was annoying but a little more tolerable due to warm weather. Second visit, just like the first, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed. After 25 min waiting outside I finally got in out of the cold and was able to sit down. I'm a left leg amputee and standing for long periods is harder for me than most. There are no chairs or anything to sit on outside their office. Most disappointing is that the staff couldn't have cared less. I'm not looking for 5 star concierge service at a blood lab but I would have thought someone would have been concerned about the issue I raised. I just got silence and a too bad so sad look. It's conveniently located but for me that's all it has going for it. And be prepared that they will be well behind in their schedule.
