I came for a blood test. They allow you to remotely check-in using their feature called "MyTurn" via their website. At 10:57, I put myself in their queue. It stated the wait time is 10 mins and I'm 3rd in the queue. When I arrived at 11:02, there were already 10 people in the waiting room! Their TV screen shows there are 2 ahead of me in the queue. At 11:15, my wait time is 7 mins with 1 person (supposedly) in front of me, but there are 10 people total in the waiting room! I really suspect that wait shows up on their TV screen are only the people using MyTurn. The screen used to reflect everyone in the room! At 11:22, I'm still at 7 mins wait. I spoke to the receptionist. She said she has been very busy with phone calls. She hasn't entered me into their local system yet, but assured me she will enter people in the order she received the requisitions! At 11:26, the receptionist finally entered the requisitions. I am at 7 mins and 26 mins! I asked the receptionist. She said I was supposed to inform her when I arrived! The website did not mention that! I was let in at 11:27! I had a male technician (I've never seen a male technician in all the years I've been at this location!). Right away, I could tell he is quite new and not confident. i went to the Matheson location. People there are great. Problem is the hours wait. No matter when you go and even if you prebook (which is rarely available) you have to wait at least an hour in a packed waiting room. This is ridiculous. When I look at other locations wait times are the same unless you want to drive to Timbuktu. How is it possible you need to to wait one to two hours for a ONE minute service. Been going to Dynacare with all my lab work and have always been greeted by their staff in a courteous and professional manner. I also like using their online app called "Dynacare - Net Check In" wherein you can see the current wait times to the specific Dynacare location you're interested. You can then check- in electronically to join the line. Be forewarned though that eventhough the "Estimated wait time" on the app says 0 mins., you still need to wait and in my case I have to wait for another 10 mins. I went today to get my blood test done and there were already 2 people ahead of me waiting in line outside the lab's entrance on top of the people waiting inside. Due to COVID-19 rules they only allow 5 people inside. But since I checked in electronically I was called first and managed to get ahead of the line. One of the lady complained to the staff on why I was called first eventhough they were the first in line. The staff told them that I have checked in online so technically I have already checked in ahead which makes perfect sense for me to be served first vs. the people who have been waiting in person. So if standing in a slow moving line drives you crazy, try using their check in app coz it will surely save you some time. read more

So got the Dynacare pharmacogenetic testing for our son. The report is garbage DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Getting the results is a nightmare and there are better labs out there that you don't need a dr's requisition. I spent hours and hours on the phone and could not get the results even though I was POA for health care for our son. What an absolute nightmare and terrible terrible report ... it provide so little and was $500 for the test took a second test for them to get enough dna and it took weeks to get results which again were of no use the reports are garbage. read more

I'm a regular client of Dynacare Oak Park in Oakville. The parking lot is spacious and free, which is a great convenience. The lab itself is clean, though often quite busy, likely because there are only one or two lab technicians at most managing both the front desk and blood tests. However, I'm fortunate to be served by Zahra, a highly professional and kind technician. She is exceptional at what she does and treats patients with professionalism, patience, and warmth. This is a review regarding the customer service I have experienced using Dynacare. When i spoke with someone on the phone in the customer service department, they assured me that this was an easy and efficient website. They also assured me that I have input all of my info correctly and when i go to sign in, it tells me that it does not recognize any of the info I'm inputting. Good luck calling to get any kind of help. You're easily on hold for 25 to 45 mins. And then you get disconnected. This is anything but efficient. We are extremely frustrated as we have already paid for the services and Dynacare Plus is a week late on their promise. We just want to know the sex and health of our baby. read more

I paid close to $400 for testing and after several calls and a request to escalate which was denied I was told due to a glitch that no one can rectify I can never receive my results on their site or from their company. I joined dynacare+ so I could get immediate access to my test results and regret the $10 investment. I could not login to my account because Dynacare made an error in my address when I went in for my test. Although I corrected that error the next time I went in, it was not recorded properly so I have no online access to those test results. I called customer service . After being on hold a long time I was told it could take up to 2 days for them to give me access to my report as correcting my address (their mistake) may be an IT issue. Calling means very long wait times, and almost no answer for any topic but account login concerns. Only thing they did correctly is charge my credit card, everything else is a failure. Rude staff, don't know how to work efficiently, worried more about there brakes instead. I was told 43 minutes of wait time when I checked in, but ended up waiting there for 87 minutes. When asked, "we are short if staff" It is the basic right of every patient to get the results of his or her tests and lab can't refuse it once they verify the identity of the patient. But this lab does not give u the results unless u pay them $10. I called there 1 800 number and spoke to a manager Jennifer J Ext 6705. She verified my identity but refused to email me my result. She said the only way for me to get the results was to pay them $10. She said even if I go the the location where I gave the sample, they would not give me my results without me paying them $10 to subscribe to their app. She said that the amount I paid was only for conducting the tests and did not include the charges for providing the patient with the results. Isn't it AMAZING!!!!! I usually go to Medical laboratories of Windsor. You can access and print ur results by logging on to their website for free. STRONGLY advise against. I did a Harmony test on Dec 1. They tell you you will get the results in 5-10 days. We are now Dec 19 and I still don't have my results. 1. I cannot access them on their portal. They keep saying it is because they cannot verify my identity through interac verification. Either their system is down or we need to wait for new information to be uploaded, wo wait another 24h. 2. The team taking care of the portal is independent to their customer service team. Essentially they will constantly blame it on the other team and make you start all over again on every phone call. 3. Remember you are the customer and you paid for those tests. They won't tell or email you the results of the test even though you are the one paying for them. There are other good labs on the market who can do the Harmony test for you and will send you the results by email. Do not lose time and patience here. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. This place is a scam. I went to get a PCR Test for my 79 y/o grandmother to travel back to her country. They promised to hand in the results in 48 hours and it's been four days and still haven't seen the results. She was not able to board her flight because DYNACARE did not submit the results on time. I had the test on May 24 in Whitby but the lab misplaced or probably lost my blood . For that, I was not notified and my doctor did not get a report . They charged me for the PSA test but that payment record was also mis-posted to other patient. I re-took the test in September but the lab. billed me for the PSA test again which I already been paid in May. What a mess!! Why it took me four months to rectify this matter because when I went to see my doctor a couple weeks after for the test result, he told me my result was great ,only there was no PSA test result there. On April 20th 2023 at 9:10 a.m. as per usual, I had a very efficient, very competent lady doing the picking and gathering and I never even felt the needle going in. Decided to finally go to the lab to get my bloodwork and ECG done for my Dr appointment the following week. I was not looking forward to having this done because most tech's have problems finding my veins. I usually go to a lab where a certain tech works out of, however she is no longer there. I decided to go to Dynacare in Heartland. As soon as I entered, I was greeted in a welcoming manner by a gentleman named Gary. Gary made the checkin pleasant and quick, he advised that there might be a little wait and to have a seat and I will be attended to as soon as possible. My wait was not very long. I had applied a warm compress to my arm in order to elevate my veins. Well, when Gary drew my blood, I did not even notice, he engaged me in conversation and was finished in no time. I was then escorted to another room for an ECG and there I met Analyn, who was also quite friendly and knowledgeable. All in all this was a very good experience at the lab.
