Shouldn't appointments be caught up first before adding in walk ins? What exactly is the point of having an appt except you get to sit in a chair instead of standing in a lineup. So you are assured a spot and a time, with minimal waiting. -large and bright office, and impeccably clean. -FREE WI-FI. (This is a real rarity at other lab sites). -more services are offered here than at many other LifeLab sites. Examples: EKG's, cardiac holder monitors, etc. -Professionalism of staff. A female checked me in (I didn't get her name) and although she was somewhat aloof, she was thorough and organized and I had zero wait time. My tech was Ian and he was phenomenal. I have had to get cardiac monitors and EKG's frequently and he was the most thorough when it came to instructions and, wow, they even provide you with a mesh "vest" over the monitor (I never got that before, and it made a huge difference in comfort level and stability). And even upon returning the following day, the staff here remembered me and the whole "disconnect and drop-off" experience was, dare I say, pleasant. My experiences at this site were unlike any I've had at other LifeLabs, and this will be the only site I go to from here on in, for sure.

The location of this 'Lab' is tucked away a touch from the general flow in the area. and from personal experiences (daughter's and mine), can often be found a little less-active than others in nearby areas (within New Westminster and Burnaby). I arrived at the location about 5 minutes before the Lab's opening time of 8 am, and stood (as #3) in a line outside. The line had grown to double that amount by the time we were first allowed any entrance to check in. Once inside, the initial checking in process was prompt. The waiting time after though, to be actually processed for the lab procedures took some time, but knowing I was third to be taken helped! When my name was called, I was back to the desk, specific data taken, and then was off to the lab area for the procedures -- which proceeded friendly, quickly, and very efficiently! With smooth, and totally painless needle work by the lab tech at my station!! After a short visit to the 'other' place to make a deposit, I was back to daughter waiting for me outside!

I signed in at a mobile kiosk with my driver's license and insurance card. A few minutes later I was in the back with a friendly young phlebotomist. She was super patient with me (I have difficult veins) and I have to say she is one of the best I have dealt with in recent years. What could be easier? Nothing! Very clean, nice parking lot with lots of spots. Safe area. My new go to lab yay!

Called to see if they are open this morning, answering machine says press 1 for hrs of operation, then doesn't say, just closed call back when open. checked online, says open. Called Denning health main office to inquire, they don't know the office hours! Drove to clinic at 8:00, "c u next Tuesday" says they are fully booked. Wtf, how is that possible? I was always told this is a drop in clinic, they don't take bookings. Nowhere is there any clue how to make an appointment! The nice lady from main office called me back to tell me they are fully booked, that was at least nice of her to call back. The short of it is if you have a family doctor, just go there, you have to make an appointment anyway.
