Typical crammed clinic, in an equally tight plaza with limited parking. Not as spacious as the Chinatown one. Walk in's ok, phone bookings the best as tried to book one online. Friendly service though. Still went to another location as their version of 30 min wait probably more like closer to an hour.

Good location and great hours (until 3:30 on Saturdays!). They are efficient in processing walk-ins, and also take appointments if you prefer. It's never something you *want* to do when you come to a place like this, but if you need blood tests or other medical lab work done, then it's far better to have it done efficiently and as expected than not. When I came before as a walk-in, they gave an estimated timeframe (45 min) and were exactly on target. Today, I waltzed in 15 min before closing (not on purpose - just an extra-busy day for me), and the two ladies at reception didn't bat an eye or give me a hard time for cutting it close. I was in, blood taken, and out again in under 15 minutes.

I've been to so many LifeLabs, I've lost count. But BY FAR, this is the absolute best site, hands…read moredown. Here are the reasons: -efficiency. They are appointment-based only. No walk-ins. So you are assured a spot and a time, with minimal waiting. -large and bright office, and impeccably clean. -FREE WI-FI. (This is a real rarity at other lab sites). -more services are offered here than at many other LifeLab sites. Examples: EKG's, cardiac holder monitors, etc. -Professionalism of staff. A female checked me in (I didn't get her name) and although she was somewhat aloof, she was thorough and organized and I had zero wait time. My tech was Ian and he was phenomenal. I have had to get cardiac monitors and EKG's frequently and he was the most thorough when it came to instructions and, wow, they even provide you with a mesh "vest" over the monitor (I never got that before, and it made a huge difference in comfort level and stability). And even upon returning the following day, the staff here remembered me and the whole "disconnect and drop-off" experience was, dare I say, pleasant. My experiences at this site were unlike any I've had at other LifeLabs, and this will be the only site I go to from here on in, for sure.

The service seemed a touch slow for checking in, but the actual drawing of my bloodwork was quick…read moreand efficient. Additionally, the seats in the private "rooms" seemed nice, clean, and comfortable. Personally, I feel that especially because they are a medical clinic they really should offer paper towels in the washrooms. It feels like a budget issue rather than trying to be environmentally friendly. Other than that my visit here felt relatively ok. Staff were professional.

X-rays get taken and then they are to be sent 3 business days to my doctors. I got the x-rays taken on Saturday. Greig Associates at Oakridge didn't send them. What are the workers there doing?!? It is one week later and I still do not know my x-ray results. Doctors need to see x-ray results to know how to treat me. Do I have an infection?!? This is not funny it is fundamental procedure to make sure to send results to my doctors. My results should have been sent to my doctors by Wednesday. Thursday at the latest. BUT NO!!! When I called Greig Associates ONE WEEK 7 days LATER the following Saturday to asked what happened? The receptionist just lied and said it was sent when it wasn't. Ya, sure it was sent only after my doctor requested the results and it arrived to his office Friday. But this does not help me because it is now the weekend and my doctor office is closed so I will have to wait another few days to get the results and get medical care. All the while I keep coughing and not sleeping well. Also, during the x-ray the man taking the x-rays kept asking me to move my shoulders forward and was pushing on my shoulders that made me feel pain. My shoulders are already as forward as far as I can go. Unacceptable all the way around!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Bad news: this will depend on which x-ray tech you get, but the x-ray tech I was pretty surly before I even had a chance to interact with him. He was also pretty bad at giving directions and got annoyed because I couldn't read his mind, e.g., he'd say "move your leg" and seemed unhappy that I didn't know which leg he was referring to and where to move it to. If people knew everything necessary to take an x-ray, x-ray techs wouldn't be necessary! On another visit, the x-ray tech positioned me in the wrong place multiple times and I got a couple of extra doses of radiation because the tech didn't set me up appropriately. X-rays give you relatively small doses of radiation, but it's still not great to get extra radiation because someone else messed up.
