I always get lightheaded when I get blood drawn, and when I told this to my nurse Christine she made time for me to lay down so that I didn't faint, and finished the process so quickly that I was affected less that usual. While I was waiting several regular patients came in that the staff had a friendly report with, which was nice to see. Thanks for being kind and taking care of the neighbourhood!

Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

However - EVERY time I have gone to Dynacare and had my blood taken by Cristina, the Lab Technician, whatever magic or needle sorcery she does - it's painless and over in seconds. And she has consistently taken it quickly and painlessly over the couple years I have gone, is always calm and pleasant, and puts me at ease telling me stories or jokes. (Remember to fast and not pee if that's the requirement of the form). There was no issue with the blood drawing. Very good overall. Will be going here in the future.

The staff are very friendly. Pauline has the exceptional customer service by explaining to each customer politely and nicely who are anxious and irritable while waiting for their time. The female technician draw blood and I did not feel the pain. Lots of parking. It's first come first serve basis. Everyday is busy and if u want to avoid long line up. Come early at 7am.of

First time the wait was annoying but a little more tolerable due to warm weather. Second visit, just like the first, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed. After 25 min waiting outside I finally got in out of the cold and was able to sit down. I'm a left leg amputee and standing for long periods is harder for me than most. There are no chairs or anything to sit on outside their office. Most disappointing is that the staff couldn't have cared less. I'm not looking for 5 star concierge service at a blood lab but I would have thought someone would have been concerned about the issue I raised. I just got silence and a too bad so sad look. It's conveniently located but for me that's all it has going for it. And be prepared that they will be well behind in their schedule.

I've never been to this location before and I thought all locations are standardized, and this one is closer. It's inside the Shoppers Drug Mart therefore not as big as other locations, since I'm not familiar with its setting, I hesitated a bit when I get there, but the front reception kept asking me to wait that it won't be long ... However, the nurse who took my blood test poked into my vein so painfully, that my arm got bruised even after a few days later. Don't know what went wrong, I thought Dynacare is a big company and their staff should be well-trained and proficient, very disappointed with the service provided

NOTE: The entrance to this lab is gained inside the Shoppers Drug Mart (at the rear of the store just left of the pharmacy department). I had the paperwork from my Doctor along with my health card ready for the person at the service counter. Some services are not covered by OHIP and you'll have to pay upfront out of pocket. There's seating for about 20 people. The TV monitor on the wall displays the wait times before you're seen by a lab technician. Staff were polite and efficient. I was in/out in 30 minutes.

However, the clinic did inform me I can walk in in case I need services. The email response time is exceptionally good and prompt. This is a good sign that in terms of administrative functions, it is quite efficient. In respect of the medical services, I have no idea how they are doing until I visit them next time.
