This is a very nice gym and you pay pretty penny for it too compared to other gyms such as EOS which is $10. I used to go to EOS and I will say I do not miss the dirty machines, always smelling sweat, and PACKED no matter what time you go. Lifetime is always busy but the gym floor is very big and I've hardly had to wait for machines even coming at their rush hour which is around 5pm. Most cars parked are going in for classes so I love just getting my workout done and not having to wait. Lifetime has one major con, and that is they dont have attachments/accesories for machines like quality hip thrust pads or ankle straps for the cable machines EVER they have tiny bar pads which dont provide any cushion. When I went to EOS I never needed to bring my gym bag because they had all the accessories you could need by the office but here I have to bring a gym bag with my hip thrust pad, ankle straps, and good resistance bands unlike those flimsy rubber ones they have at lifetime. Lifetime deserves the 5 stars, but for such an expensive gym membership you would think you wouldn't have to bring anything besides yourself and maybe a bikini and water bottle. Just a little disappointing but I won't be changing gyms over cheap accessories they don't have I just don't understand why they don't have them for people working out and each paying over $150 a month read more

The Cafes are more you can expect in fact you can even have a meeting here at the lounge if you wanted because they allow non members in the lounge and cafe. This gym used to be spotless now its Getting gross. Swim at the pool at opening (4am) and there's dirty towels laying all over the bathrooms are filthy towels on the floor. I don't know what's going on but clearly there's no one who's cleaning up after closing time and getting ready for the morning this is just disgusting. read more

I went a couple weeks ago it was okay but some strict rules and 1 thing I hated is that at 7:00pm they are supposed to close the slide but when I went they closed the slide at like 6:30 I was having fun but when the slide closed so I went to go in the indoor pool and then I had to swim in the little kid pool cause on the lanes for kids you have to have a lifeguard to watch and the lifeguard watching the kids swimming in that tiny pool could've gone to the lanes and there were many lifeguards switching turn and 1 could've gone over there to watch kids swimming in lanes I do not recommend to people that are going to start going to the pool read more

They've improved dramatically on allowing small children on the third floor. It's appreciated, but holy shit is this gym dirty. Like dirty in a nasty way. I went from going in the evening to going at 6am when they open. No excuse for the floors being so nasty, toilets having floating shits, and dirt stains in the Sink. To top it all off their locker rooms are nasty as hell. Towels are pure white so how do your allocates fold the ones with black and yellow shit still seeped into them? It's been almost 3 years since Covid so you can't use that as an excuse anymore for your lack of desire to hire a consistent staff. Your night staff should be more than capable of cleaning. It's not hard. We pay $120+ for this shit so it has no excuse for being this filthy. read more

Very disappointed. First, the staff is excellent. The administration is then problem. I signed up for lifetime fitness specifically for full court two court basketball. The have now removed a court for pickleball. The courts are now overun, the kids can't play games and one side of the gym isn't being used. I pay a handsome sum for one court and over crowding. I was a member at another club and due to a change in employers moved to Peoria, AZ. the club I belonged to totally changed the membership without my approval and the due to covid and delays in construction the local clubs to me did not open on time. I contacted the local club and was told they don't care, there is nothing that can be done to get the membership started again and they don't care. bottom line, if you going to pay the prices Lifetime wants you have to get everything in writing at the time of the conversation and based on what I am seeing it is not worth the price for the arrogance, insensitivity, and total lack of customer service. join a gym that wants you there not just your monthly payment. read more

I am a big believer that customer service and relations is key in an business that's taking my money. Allison, an older lady that works the front desk, is absolutely rude and arrogant. I've been a member at lifetime fitness since 2008. Out of all of the years that I have been going to lifetime and paying my membership, I have never met a front desk employee that has not greeted the customers. How does a company strive to creating a better lifestyle and wellness by having an employee that refuses to welcome in their guests? The facility is absolutely gorgeous and brand new, one of the best that I have been to out of the 20 locations in multiple different states. Each location has friendly and amazing employees that are wonderful to talk to you and get to know, except lifetime Allison at Happy Valley. Like paying $300 for your family to absolutely micromanaged? If you have young kids or apparently any kid under 12, be prepared to be reprimanded several times for trying to use the facilities. I came as a guest today with my mother and son (3yr old) who are members to check it out since we were considering a membership. I Absolutely will not be joining after the treatment we received today. No kids allowed in the outside pool whatsoever because there is no lifeguards on duty (who are too busy folding towels and micromanaging those inside). So you pay full price to only be able to use part of the facility if you have children under 12. Why on earth can't moms with young kids be able to sit outside when it's 100 degrees? You have many members annoyed they can't be outside. Maybe delegate one of your not so busy lifeguards to the outside pools so members can use it. We were reprimanded multiple times during our 1.5 hour swim. We left early because we weren't able to actually enjoy our time. $300 is a waste of money if you have kids. They need to change their policies. Not at all family inclusive. read more

I really have no issues with the staff or the facility. My issue is the people that come here. They are disgusting. I've seen in the family locker room towels left in the showers from previous guests like it's someone else's responsibility to clean up after them or their child. I don't use other areas of the gym, we only use the swim classes and pool. People need to realize we have a nicer gym in this area and we should take care of it. Miss Macy has been great with our daughter in swim class. Any other instructor she has had has also been great. Would I recommend this gym to people? Absolutely! The guests that come here should just learn to clean up after themselves. The people that do clean are not our maids and we should respect that. read more

When I originally joined this gym I was very impressed with how clean it was. The janitorial staff do their job. But, after I received my free personal training session, I was presented with a contract to commit to $600 a month. Well, as a result of declining to sign the contract the manager, Ben M., and several other trainers threw the biggest temper tantrum. It was very amateurish. Best gym in the valley. Hands down. Obviously it's a little pricy but you get every dollar worth. Gym equipment is all brand new state of the art. Everything is very clean and organized. Plenty of locker room amenities. Love using the ice tub and steam room after a workout. My only complaint is the music on the third floor is too loud. the gym is nice especially for the older crowd but we pay the premium prices of lifetime fitness and their not accommodating by any means, and to add to another key example for paying close to 200+ a month with family members on the account they won't allow more then two guest passes for the whole family so that leads us into keeping a competing gym membership just to workout with friends the amenities are nice but need to be cleaner and don't pay for their food unless you NEED to eat immediately after or before workout it's just over priced microwaved food. Another thing i find so odd if you play for the basketball league you would think family and friends can watch you play but without a membership that just is not happening and they won't accommodate which is just the dumbest thing i've heard. They are a very money grabbing operation and don't care about their members besides their bank account . I do like the weight room though , it's very organized and has a surplus of machines but it does need better lighting in the dumbell sections especially next to the barbell bench press it feels your working out in a attic. But views are spectacular near the squat racks and the trainers are helpful if you have questions. read more

I've been with lifetime for almost as long as they had been open and for the first year it used to be very clean and open with all the equipment ready to use now the locker room is very dirty and the ice bath steam room and sauna is very very dirty. They reserve the basketball courts for the children all day so I cannot go and play there which is very unreasonable as part of my membership and it's not a playground for kids. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! CROOKS! I would give them negative stars if I could. I was asked by one of the personal trainers if my son wanted to attend an endurance class they had over the summer. He said it was $432 a month and that he could try it and see if he liked it. He tried a class and I paid the $432 to do a month. At the end of the month I told the trainer that the class schedule was too hard to fit into our schedule. Now I find out that they charged my account for two additional months after I quit going. I called to notify them of the issue and spoke with Steven and Ben. Not only were they super rude on the phone, all they said is you signed a contract and it states you have to give 30 day notice. I cancelled on July 4th, not knowing they already charged my card on July 1st. They charged it again on August 1st. Now they claimed they wont refund me because 30 days from July 4th is August 4th and the last charge is on August 1st. Not even a prorated refund for August, nothing. I told them I don't remember signing any contract and that I want to see a copy of what they say I signed. Guess what, no copy. Their system is having issues. Two days later, still no copy, still issues! I have called twice and they put me on hold, then transfer me to voice mail. I own two businesses and I have never dealt with such unprofessional and bullying people in my life. As a women, I would never expect to be talked down to or disrespected by any male employee of any company, let alone Life Time Fitness. Honestly, my entire experience with Life Time Fitness has been horrible. And for paying $250 a month for over a year and to still be treated this way is unacceptable. I am taking my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same. read more
