Just a follow up to other reviews I have just read and personal observations in the last 45 days. Same issues still apply even though constant communication has been attempted with management and their staff. Mens locker room is still filthy, with mold growing on top of the urinals, in the steam room and in some of the showers. Floors around the urinals are very rarely really cleaned/sanitized, it is apparent with stains that have been in the same spot for weeks. There is/was a telephone in the men's locker room, it has been broken for months. So, everyone is using their cell phones in the men's locker room even though there are posted signs as members enter the locker room. Locker room attendants are fully aware of this and do not say a word to the offenders/members and even the trainers. Locker room attendants also just look at members who are wearing street shoes that are full of mud, goose crap and other debris in the steam room. There is a poorly noted/drafted and placed sign on the steam room door, not to do so. Seemingly, the sign does not matter to many members. Pool attendants just watch kids that are well below the 12 year old age rule (Colorado Health Standard) using the hot tubs. I've seen it, they do not say a word to the kids or their parents.. Members feel their kids of any age can just ignore the posted signs and use the hot tubs. Pool attendants do not mind. In fact, it was my experience in a discussion with a pool attendant that several of pool attendants and the pool area manager, felt it was OK and just fine if the kids sat on the edge of the spa spaces just put their feet in the tub. Again a violation of the clubs own posting. Unfortunately, I have seen small children urinate in the hot tubs. The staff has -00- accountability for enforcement of most of the rules that are typical for a health club and Lifetime Fitness's own posted policies. The management and staff listens to some of the comments/complaints and then completely ignores enforcement. The clubs staff, is not at all trained to promptly deal with violators of the posted policies of the facility. My comments represent at least a dozen or so members that I have discussed these matters with. Several members said "I am glad I am not the only one that sees this stuff". "Thank you for saying something" "I see the posted policies but nothing is ever enforced" "These kids have got to be trained" Conclusion: Equipment is OK, but the cleanliness of the facility is poor. Staff is nice, but their hands seem to be tied when it comes to enforcing their own rules and policies. One more comment...I ate at the Lifetime café @Parker once. I almost lost it right then and there. I found a very long hair in my lunch meal. Of course, staff was not wearing hair nets. read more

I absolutely LOVE this mall, I mean, gym. Of course Lifetime spoils you, but until you actually go there, you have no idea what you're in for! They have a salon as well as a restraunt, any machine you could think of, a large swimming pool (the outdoor pool is a lot of fun during the summer but good luck finding a spot!) a daycare, and basketball courts. I love love love the steam room and the hot tub after a great workout. This place is clean, organized, and the staff is very friendly! I couldnt see myself going to any other gym! read more

Wow Impressive! So excited to get started here! Joined this weekend and looks to be worth the drive from Castle Rock. The amenities here are amazing! I'm looking forward to taking advantage of this amazing gym and especially the rock climbing. I love the child care I can use during the week and the kids will love the pools. Clean, lots of variety, friendly staff, not-so-good daycare, more expensive than 24 hour fitness, lifting and cardio area are big, atmosphere is generally pleasant, big TVs and free towels. More expensive than 24 Hour, but its nicer and you get what you pay for. Younger people may prefer 24 Hour more as FT is more family oriented. Had a bad experience with a trainer, but I can't speak for the rest of them. To whoever complained about people not wiping down machines: Wiping down machines does nothing to remove viruses. read more

We used to live in the apartments right behind this lifetime so it was close and great for us! When we were members we had a 3 year old and a 1 year old... I'm what you'd call a "gym rat" so we were there everyday and my kids LOVED it! Since we were there so often the girls loved my kids and it was great how excited everyone seemed when we'd go! I got to know the front staff really well and a few of the trainers. I will say that some of the trainers are just there to socialize with each other... But whatever! I got a massage one day that was fabulous but that's the only experience I had with the salon. All in all I recommend this gym to EVERYONE I talk to. We loved it. The only reason we aren't members here anymore is because we moved to California. read more

My wife and I have been attending here since they opened. We're pretty light duty members and usually head straight upstairs and skip the locker rooms. Lots of equipment so plenty to choose from. Wife visits about 6 times a week and I'm in about 3. We really liked the affordable day care they have too. Nice accommodations, we enjoy. read more

Lifetime Fitness is a great place to workout. So many machines to where it can sustain a crowd and it never gets too crowded. Love the basketball courts, the pool, and the rock climbing wall. This place has everything you can think of. I would recommend people to go there for a Lifetime. read more

I've been a member of Lifetime for a couple months, and go several times a week. Overall I have really liked it. Pros: -Beautiful facility -Beautiful locker rooms -Good selection of classes -Class instructors are outstanding -A lot of equipment -Fantastic pools and hot tubs -Love having a cafe with healthy options. -Feel like I'm at a resort. I can go to a class, grab lunch at the cafe, hang at the pool, do an aqua class, etc. Cons: -HUGE amount of up-selling once you join. They made me feel like if I didn't spend hundreds of dollars each month on top of the already high fees, then I must not be serious about getting in shape and that I don't value the expertise of their employees. I almost dropped my membership because I was so mad about about their aggressive sales. -The "FREE PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS!" when you join are just 3 hours of up-selling. -Tennis courts would be nice -It should be easier to bring guests. $40 a week per guest is crazy. -Bathrooms should have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It's pretty cheap to just have body wash that also sort of doubles as shampoo. Overall I really enjoy Lifetime now that I started ignoring all the up-selling, so I'm giving it 4 stars. read more

As a charter member of the Parker Lifetime, I initially found the facility top notch- despite the rather hefty fee ($55 mo/ single member, no kids, no significant other). Then the rate went up to $59 (mind you, I only have time to go once a week). Then the proverbial poke- in the-eye; the rates went up to now $66. Ouch. Hey! Don't penalize me if your membership is down. I might add that "negotiating" a lower rate was a futile endeavor. No give whatsoever. The ladies locker room often looks like a war zone due to kids & teenage girls simply not having good gym manners. (Where's their parents- or are they slobs too?) Gobs of hair often found on the shower drain covers (yuk, really?), used bandaids, dirty/ wet towels on the floor...need I go on? I think that maybe the best class Lifetime could offer is "Gym Etiquette" mandatory upon sign-up. Housekeeping (bless their underpaid souls) needs to be more frequent. Then I found out that my neighbors (also Lifetime members) with a family of 4 pay LESS than I per month- for a membership of 2 chillins, 2 adults!!! Really guys? Now to the facility: Of late the machines are often out of service or poorly maintained (wear n tear) or simply out of commission. The treadmills certainly need to be calibrated more frequently as the readings are simply "off." In conclusion, if you don't mind forking over a small fortune every month for a "so-so" facility then LifeTime's for you. If quality for you hard-earned dollar is important, then you might want to think twice before joining. If you're expecting an adult facility minus the un-leashed rug rats everywhere .....keep looking. I go to the gym to relax, not be burdened by a bunch of screaming teenagers (ever gone deaf from the echo in a tiled locker room reverberating with "Like, like like...." ) Suggestion: Employ a Secret Shopper to see what your customers are REALLY experiencing. I have been at this Gym for 3.5 years now and I have seen it grow and get nothing but better! They have excellent classes with your membership with wonderful and helpful instructors/staff. The facilities in general are gorgeous and always kept clean and well organized! Compared to 24 hour Fitness and Anytime Fitness this place is a fitness mecca with beautiful accommodations! This establishment comes with a child daycare, health cafe and aveda salon (a total one stop shop)! Who can keep up with that!? Overall you will not be disappointed and the monthly membership is affordable for what comes with it! So go now and get your fitness and health on! read more

I was a member of the Parker Lifetime Fitness club for about 3 years or so. I loved it there. Very nice facility. It's clean, has great equipment, and the people who work there are really friendly and helpful. Recently, I decided to discontinue my membership due to not going enough to justify the monthly fee of 74 dollars. I live a distance away and just found it easier and more convenient to work out at home. Sadly, closing my membership was more painful than sticking a pencil in my eye. The representative, Shane, would barely allow me to get a word in edgewise. He went on and on about how I should reconsider and how he wouldn't want me to be given orders from my doctor to exercise and go to the gym. It went on like this for at least 15 minutes. I felt like getting up and just walking out, but knew I had to sign off on closing my account. I don't know who he thinks he is, but I've run marathons, competed in figure competitions, been certified as a personal trainer, and played sports all my life. I'm not some decrepit old woman with one foot in the grave. After having to listen to him and his bulls***, there is no way I'd go back there. I highly recommend this gym, but I wish closing a membership wasn't as woefully painful as was my experience. read more

Overall the club has a very exclusive appearance and it is as clean as it can be, which means cleaner than other clubs overall in terms of workout area etc. It is expensive compared to other clubs, but it comes with a higher recreational value than other clubs. I would not trade it for another. One thing that is bothersome to me is that the sauna areas are treated as a"stepchild". It is not particularly LTf's fault that the sauna is an area of "uncleanliness". It might be more that people don't know how to behave in the sauna area. Having said that, what I see is: sitting with bare skin on the wood instead of using one of the many provided towels, stumping into the sauna with full workout clothing and shoes and contaminating all levels with bacteria from shoes, wearing workout clothing and sweating through them in the sauna onto the wood. All that is very nasty. I believe it should be the rule "no sweat on the wood" by diligently using towels. No unnecessary contamination from shoes or workout clothing - use a towel!! It seems simple for management to make a difference to insist on customers to use a towel. It protects not only the integrity of the wood, but also protects fellow users from people's germs. Things to be caught in sauna from bare skin on wood are warts and other bacterial infections. We all know that germs are more resistant these days and can infect people of ALL age groups, regardless of their health status!! I am wondering when LTf will wake up to this!! read more

Joining a gym is a big commitment. I thought about it for a long time before deciding to join Life Time. I'm always skeptical of contracts and sales pitches, so I dreaded the initial "tour", but I have to say, it was fast, easy, and we weren't pressured at all. Since we weren't sure if the entire family would use it, we decided just to start my membership and then add the family later. The rep even gave us a two-week family pass so we could decide before committing to the additional dues. My two teens loved it, so after a couple months of me getting used to going on an almost daily basis, I happily added the rest of the family. This gives us one more thing we can do for fun. Between the pools, water slides, rock climbing wall, and indoor field, the kids have plenty to do to keep moving while my husband and I workout upstairs. One of the reasons I procrastinated in joining a gym was memories of all the stinky, crowded gyms I've gone to in the past. This one is NOTHING like those. It is always clean. There are plenty of machines. Even during peak hours, I don't have a problem getting through a workout. I love that there are disinfectant wipes everywhere for us germ-o-phobes. Most of the customers are good about wiping machines down, and I've never encountered someone leaving a disgusting sweaty machine behind. The staff is constantly coming through and disinfecting machines, too. The atmosphere is like a resort. It is bright, open, and pleasant. Everything is clean. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is a continual up-sale effort, from products to services, but I've never felt pressured by any of the staff. If you want the information, they are willing to share it. If not, just go about your workout in peace. As with any fitness place, there is an element of snottiness from some of the staff and customers (not all, just a few). But that's a minor annoyance compared to all the great stuff. There's enough of us older "average" folks in there that no one should ever feel intimidated about going, and the majority of the staff and trainers are friendly and courteous. All in all, joining Life Time has been the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. I go nearly every day and definitely get my money's worth. I have to go with 5 stars. I've been a member there almost since opening 8 years ago. Wonderful fun for me and my daughter. Now, she's all grown up I really struggle at needing so much. Probably dropping out since I just need a treadmill now. If you have kids, or a variety of interests, this is a really great place. The ONLY issue I ever had was theft was pretty common in there. I think it was the staff personally. Seemed to always know right when to go in and grab something from the locker. That was about 2 years back though and haven't heard of the theft issue, or experienced it since that time period. LOCK your stuff up. Even gym shoes. read more

Today i was in line today waiting to check in and i saw one of the managers yelling at one of the employees in the middle of the lobby. It was truly shocking to see these employees being treated in such a way in front of god and everyone. If the managers at lifetime treat their staff with such disrespect, how do we expect to enjoy our experience at this establishment, when the employees can't even have a safe environment to work with Obviously this lifetime has spent more money on the facilities themselves rather than finding good managers to treat other employees with respect. And to the manager who was yelling at the employee (it said Jan on the nametag), shame on you. That was not something to do to your employees and if you had a complaint, don't yell at them in front of everyone. If i was an employee i would seriously consider filing a harassment suit. read more

Lifetime Fitness Parker has definitely gone downhill. I've been a member of this club for about 4-1/2 years. When I switched over from Parker Rec Center, I had no regrets about paying nearly twice as much, because Lifetime felt like a truly premium gym experience. Since that time, it has become more of a disappointment. It's totally overcrowded (like everything else in Parker). The locker rooms and bathrooms are often dirty with trash and wet towels strewn all over the floor and in the showers. Soap dispensers are often empty or broken. Inconsiderate parents routinely bring shrieking kids into the adult locker rooms, despite the existence of a family locker room expressly for that purpose. Some of the cardio equipment, such as the upright Lifecycles, has been worn out for a long time, but my emails to the customer service manager go unanswered and not acted upon. And the newest addition to the list is that now they are experiencing problems with vehicle and locker break-ins. All of this adds up to an extremely non-premium experience at a premium price. I feel like the staff has decided that it's no longer necessary to earn their members' membership fees, and instead they treat us like a captive audience. I will be eagerly awaiting a comparable fitness facility to open elsewhere in Parker or maybe in Castle Rock, and I will be switching when that happens. read more

Week after week, filthy locker rooms, broken shower stall doors, empty and broken soap dispensers, periodically out of clean towels, inoperable bathroom stalls and a locker room attendant with a bad attitude. And then there is the poorly maintained gym equipment, often times multiple stationary bikes in poor or inoperable condition, stair climbers cup holders often filled with trash and generally dirty, I even found someone's water bottle magazine and towel left on the same machine for over 24 hours clear indication the place is simply miss managed. And then there is the obvious overcrowding frequently difficult to find a place to workout . And then there is the matter of theft with several signs and warnings of locker room theft but no mention of vehicles being broken into and not late a night but in the middle of the day and even early morning. We arrived last Saturday morning around 9 am to find multiple vehicles with broken windows and Parker PD taking reports.For as much money as it is monthly this is inexcusable particularly when I reached out to management and received no response, I'm done! Time to find another gym! read more

This gym is dirty and the hot tub is a germ infested cesspool. I picked up a bacterial staph infection known as pseudomonas folliculitis a few weeks ago from the hot tub. Management is aware and unconcerned. be careful at this gym. read more

I joined and decided to cancel. The process to cancel is ridiculous. You must sign or send a certified letter with a 30 day notice to cancel. I did this, sent it in May and have continued to be billed. I had to inform them and provide proof of the registered letter because they claim they never received it. I did this, still almost a month since then and NO refund. This is one of the most dishonest businesses I have ever dealt with. DO NOT sign a membership contract with them, you will regret it! read more

The place offers everything you could need but the holier-than-thou attitude of the staff and the people that go there isnt worth the high monthly payment. The staff is only about making a sale. This is a great gym for the family or someone just starting back to the gym or first timers. You will pay top dollar though and get very mediocre customer service experience. Not a gym for serious body builders. The trainers do not look like they really practice what they preach and are very expensive. This location has two managers, Laura and Jeff, and you will rarely see either crack even a smile when passing by a member. This of course creates a trickle down effect. If you talk to very many employees you will soon learn that this is not a positive environment to work in and there is a lot of resentment and unhappiness amongst their staff. A very high turn over in employees. The equipment is average and clearly overselling memberships for the amount of equipment. Positives are the hours, cafe, locker room and pools. It really has the potential to be a five star gym just needs a change in management in my opinion and change in philosophy of making customer service a priority. read more

Do not let this place fool you because it looks nice, big and clean. It is always packed, even at 5:00 AM. If you are like me who loves taking classes, they are always full, even if you get there early, they will begin to fill, and you will end up with no space to the point where you feel uncomfortable and afraid to hit someone. If you have kids, and need to drop them off at the daycare, this place is a zoo, to the point that kids get overwhelmed with how noisy and chaotic this place is. The staff is unfriendly, and they act as if you were begging them to watch your children, even though you are paying them. Not to mention, if you have infants you must call ahead to make sure they have spots available, in which case they hardly ever do, but let's say you found a spot, keep in mind they don't change dippers, and they do very minimum to keep your child entertained and if he or she cry for 10 to 15 minutes they will come and get you, if this happens again, they will advise you that they will only watch your child for 15 max. Because they can't deal with the "separation" issue. Also, if you have an emergency or your child got sick the day you were supposed to come, make sure you call 2 hours before your reservation, because if it happens twice,they will call you to let you know that you cannot longer make reservations, they don't even make a courtesy call to see if your child is ok. I am not exaggerating, every one of those things happen to me, and apparently I am not the only one, I started to hear really bad things about this place after I left, I wish I would have known this before I even started. read more

I tried this place out and decided against it. The sales people were too corporate. The price is way too expensive and the group fitness classes are too crowded and too few. If you are looking for a place to go and workout, there are cheaper gyms in the area. If you are looking for group fitness, they do not have enough offerings. I have been a member since they open. I have been really disappointed in the management. Many people have complained about one member that makes these loud grunting noises non stop to help her lift heavy weights every day. Many have complained and the manager does talk to her but she stops and then starts again with this loud noise you can here from 100 feet away in another room even. It happens mainly when the GM is not there but she has stated that they cannot do anything about it and I guess their right. We will be dropping our membership after almost 8 years and going to Colorado Atheltic Club. I must say that I have worked out at many other locations and this does not exist nor this type of behavior allowed. I would not recommend the Parker location.... read more

I have goals in mind, and before I committed to any one gym, I shopped around a bit. I checked out both the Inverness facility of Colorado Athletic and Denver Gym & Fitness at Parker & Chambers. What made me decide on Lifetime Fitness was a) I got a screaming deal for sign up 2) Pete, the gentleman who showed me around made me feel like Lifetime was going to provide the support I needed for my goals and 2) the building is very well maintained. They have a plethora of different fitness groups, like a running group and a triathelete group/team. They have competitions, a cafe, a salon/spa, lots of cardio machines, an open & bright weight training area with literally every machine imaginable.. yoga, pilates, dieticians, physical trainers, contests, dance parties (they just hosted a roaring 20's themed party, which I was unable to attend, but they offered food and drinks, no charge!)... the list of benefits goes on & on... What's really made me enjoy my time there is the helpfulness of the people I've come across. Pete has been very nice & makes sure to at least wave each time I see/pass by him. Annie(dietician) & Jessie(trainer) are sweet, engaged & easy to talk with. I am learning quite a few things from both of them, and having some success with those aforementioned goals! There was a minor mistake during my sign up, and they took ownership of the issue & have fixed it without my having to pester. There are downsides, but nothing that I personally feel makes the facility less worth my time & money than either of the other two that I checked out. These include: low pressure in the showers, children running around all over the place (mostly downstairs. children under 12 aren't allowed upstairs, but that doesn't seem to prevent some of them, unless those kids are just very small 12 year olds and I'm bad at guessing ages). the kids are really a subset of the greater issue: a good chunk of the other members are rude & selfish. many don't say excuse me, they look at others with derision, one woman allowed her BOYS into the woman's locker room and they came around the corner just as I was changing MY. BRA. (even though there's a family locker room AND there's a sign clear as day at the entrance of the women's locker room that says "no children of the opposite sex" and her husband/baby daddy was waiting for her on a bench just outside the locker room so the kids could have been with him. NO REASON.) Once I was dressed, I did mention that to someone at the entrance desk, but I don't know if someone was able to follow up before they'd exited the locker room. read more

This gym pissed me off like none other. First of all I was a member previous to the Army. After getting out I receive a 3 month lifetime membership form to fill out due to harrassment charges pressed upon the company for numerous calls and texts. Not a big deal but No surprise. So I go in and get a week membership for free waiting for my pass coming in the mail. Halfway through my week pass my parents and family become very interested in the gym as well. Now I love the lifetime facility, so of course I want my entire family to come. I call to ask about the rates for the family plan but Chad wasn't there. My mom calls again because she didn't care who she talked to and asks for a free 2 week pass and I receive one as well. I suggested to go through Chad the sales rep because he's the only one who gives a damn. But instead Ryan was the one who helped us. No problem. Halfway through the pass I'm still waiting for my free 3 month to come in the mail, and Ryan approaches me and takes away my pass from me. Says he thinks I'm using them for free shit and says I've been going A LOT. Yes I work out 2 times a day unlike you. BUT HE TOOK MY PASS. DISTRUSTED ME AND EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT OF EVERYONE WHO WAS AROUND. Said they've been talking and saw my call history constantly asking for free passes. I was asking for my family. But being a loyal customer and TRYING to get you more Fucking commission and help your way overpriced facility anyways you disrespect me. The only one who believed me was Chad So I highly recommend going through him. And now I still haven't received my pass and will be calling HQ soon about it. I have the money which is no problem. But my family and I will be going to 24 hour fitness for the respect and ppreciation we deserve. Oh, also my mother bitched them out for taking my pass. But we didn't even go back in. Also last time cancelling my membership they took months to cancel it. Same with my brother and they both charged us for months we didn't even lift at. Overall terrible managment, terrible customer service, they are almost as bad as car salesmen. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They will sucker you. read more

This is probably one of the worst gyms ever, the pool... Eh the lifeguards don't quite enforce the rules and i am disappointed.

Lifetime is AMAZING! I've never written a review but felt compelled to talk about how nice this place is. As others have said, its is spotless, classy and elegant but that's not the best part, the best part is the staff! Everyone from the front desk personnel to the people who keep the locker rooms in tip top shape are very friendly and professional. and the group fitness instructors are GREAT! I have a long way to go to accomplish my fitness goals and I am so grateful to have this club 10 minutes from home. Jesse the aqua and studio Zumba instructor keeps everyone smiling and engaged while working our tails off. Yes, its a bit pricey, but for what you get, I don't really see how they could keep the quality, cleanliness and staff they have on less $$. You get what you pay for! read more

Life Time started out nice. Now the equipment seems dirty. The ladies bathrooms upstairs by the free weights, as well as downstairs are filthy. I'm afraid to touch the handles of the doors. When you sit on the toilet and look down on the floor it seems very dirty. I see 'MANY" employees sitting at the desks up stairs where the equipment is on the computer. ..even during slow periods of the day. Why aren't they up moving around, and CLEANING. It seems as if they are embarrassed to be seen cleaning. There seems to be much socializing of employees between offices on the ground floor. There seems to be a very high turn over of employees. It seems to me the ones who are killing themselves are the poor guys & girls that work in the cafe. The floors everywhere in the facility seem very, very dirty. Great location and very well cared for gym equipment. A little crowded during peak times but always able to get my workout in.

Great facility: indoor pool, fitness classes are varied, huge variety of aerobic equipment! The eucalyptus steam room is amazing! The LifeCafe has great smoothies! I don't have young kids, but it seems that they have a nice kid program - which keeps them out of the locker room, something I appreciate. read more

I have been a member of this gym for only a short time, but so far I really enjoy it. The staff seems friendly and informative. The class times are varied so you are sure to find something to fit your schedule. My kids love the daycare room and my 5 year old is really excited to take a rock wall climbing class. I have been a member of Fitness 19 for years and have enjoyed it, but now having a shower, sauna, pool, hot tub, classes and a daycare with longer hours I do not think I could go back. We lucked out and joined with a referral and they waived all fees to begin and we also got $300 towards classes for the kids and personal training. The $120 a month sounds steep and that is why I give it only 4 stars, but we find ourselves going so much that we are living healthier and more active lifestyles. The customer service here is unbelievable. I've never in my life been treated so poorly, and just plain rude for that matter. I'm still dealing with an unresolved payment issue. The general manager tells me one thing so I believe it. Then corporate calls me and has no knowledge of anything the general manager has told me. When I call and leave messages they are seldom responded to. If you don't like being taken advantage of don't support this company. There are lots of gyms that will help their customers but lifetime fitness isn't one of them. read more

I have tried other clubs before including ballys, 24 hour fitness and local clubs. I have never found one that was a good fit for me. At this club they really believe in a total service for the customer. What I mean by this is there is something for everything. I have to admit that I am somewhat shy. The personal trainers understood this and recommened a class for me that I feel very comfortable in. I have used the spa service and was pleasantly surprised at the cost and the top notch massage I received. I also love that even when the parking lot is crowded at peak times, there is plenty of equipment for me to work out on. The place is clean and very inviting. I particullary like that there is a cafe that serves healthy alternatives and it is open late. read more

After being a member for about five months I have been off and on about if I should keep my membership or go to a different gym that costs less and has a better environment and staff. Over the five month period I have defiantly founds more than a few flaws with Lifetime. First is the staff that they have there. With lifetime always being pretty busy it is hard sometimes to know if someone is using a free weight machine or if they just forgot to put their weights away. One time my friend and I used a machine we thought was empty, and moments later we were called ass holes by a personal trainer under his breath thinking we didn't hear him. Management did nothing when we brought it up to him. Another problem is the cleanliness of the establishment. I have never seen anyone clean the machines or floors and trash has been in the same spot for weeks. The worst part is the locker rooms. The showers are never clean and I have seen blood and boogers on the walls before that stayed over a two day period. Also, the equipment is almost never all working. On any given day there are at minimum two machines out of order. And when they are out or order they do not get fixed for a long time. I have seen the leg press take over a month to be fixed. For some of the machines too there are not enough of them. Luckily I go in at five thirty in the mornings, but when I do two a days in the afternoon, I am lucky to get through my usual hour and a half work out in two hours and fifteen minutes due to the large crowds. To finish up, I think that Lifetime is a nice gym if you do as I do a work out when there are minimal crowds and can deal with the lack of cleanliness. But I will probably cancel my membership and go elsewhere that has a better respect for their customers and is not as pricy. Although Lifetime does have some great amenities I think they are better more for a family gym than a personal health gym. read more
