My wife and 2 year old daughter spend a couple hours each morning enjoying a verity of benefits and amenities. Group classes for the wife and swimming class for my daughter is a big part of the routine. Fantastic gym at a great location. I was only in town visiting friends who had a membership. The sales rep, Corey, helped with getting a pass during my stay. I wish this gym was near where I live. Large facility that is clearly well maintained with plenty of new equipment, a variety of classes, and great amenities to include a rock wall and large lap pool. I couldn't even begin to explain how furious I am at lifetime fitness daycare. They have one of the laziest staff I have ever seen. I even talked with the director of child care making sure it was a good place for my 14 month old to go and play and making sure the staff was a legitimate one. I left my number for them to call me if he started crying, 40 minutes later I walked in and there were maybe 7 kids all around playing and having a good time with the staff members and my son was in the middle of the floor crying so hard he couldn't catch his breath he was to the point of shaking. No one was even close to him or worried about him. Needless to say I will never step foot in there again. The gym itself is amazing, but not worth my child not getting the proper care. Nice gym, lots of amenities. A friend had me go with her to try the yoga class. The yoga room was comfy, nice temp. The instructor was pleasant. The class was very good BUT if I'm taking a class I would like to be shown or told what to do the whole time, not do a sequence twice of 10 poses than you are on your own. I don't want I think of anything but my breath. After we went in the eucalyptus steam room which was wonderful. I might try one other instructor. read more

I am having a great experience here. In fact, my whole family is. We moved from California several months ago and just joined Lifetime. I love the way they walk you through the whole experience with no pressure. I had Ben as my personal trainer and he is fabulous! He suggested I go on a gut fix and I have never felt better!!! The equipment is nice and the classes are wonderful! I am a E-RYT500 certified yoga teacher and their yoga classes here are wonderful! I love Kristin class on Sunday at 2:45, she's amazing and her spirit is so kind! And not to be missed is the steam sauna!! Omgosh! The eucalyptus steam is incredible!!!! I walked in thinking "I'm getting some love up in here" and I walked out breathing fine and softy skin! Hallelujah! I love this place! From the front desk, to all the staff! Thank you. I canceled this in January and Life Time continued to charge me membership dues for 2 months. Saying if the balance is not resolved the membership remains open. If this is sent to collections I will be hiring a lawyer to resolve this. The membership dues increase is completely uncalled for. A team member literally told me they were doing it to "change the clientele of the gym". How else is that to be inferred that they are increasing dues to only attract rich people. Disgusting. I went from $64 a month to $119 a month and canceled immediately once I found this out. They tried to justify the cost increase also by adding disposable razors and updating half of the olympic racks so they could meet 'Onyx' status. The tiered statuses are completely arbitrary now since some of the nicest clubs in the country are also Onyx level clubs and charge $230+ a month for dues and are arguably 10 times nicer than the Parker club. Once Life Time went public it was obvious the club shifted its priority from members to shareholders. read more

HORRIBLE customer service! My 4 year old son does swimming lessons with a WONDERFUL teacher Suzanne but unfortunately this is the same time as the water aerobics class with BOOMING music and obnoxiously loud voice of male instructor calling out steps. What do you think my 4 year old did the whole time? Hands over ears ! The kids could not even hear their swimming teacher. I complained to the MOD who replied, "hum, first time I've heard that before. What do you want me to do about it?" UNREAL. The kids are 4 years old learning how to swim! TURN IT DOWN! My wife and I wanted to take a tour of Lifetime in Parker. The sales rep Shane was annoyed we where even there. All we wanted was a quick tour of the facility. Shane quickly ushers us into his office where is discovery of our needs started and stopped with "tell me about your fitness journey." Which is fine but he missed they only reason why we where there and that was to pass time on the weekends. He followed by stressing that this is not the ideal place for "fat" people. Which is disturbing since all people should be able to join and no one should ever be discriminated against. Shane the sales rep kept pushing for us to sign today! Which was not an option for us. I called him out for is below average sales skills. Which he quickly responsed with he's not a sales person. Then proceeded with a single white page of numbers that made no sense to either of us nor could be viwed. Since he was hovering over them like an unskilled used car sales man. They only thing Shane was missing was a plaid suit and a 79 Buick on the line. When asked if there is anything more he could do about the $500 enrollment he said that "Lifetime doesn't put him in a suit to negotiate with the likes of me." Which is funny because I am paying more for a single membership then a family membership at Lifetime. Lifetime Fitness embodies the Global Gym mindset of we are better then you! Worst part is that Shane actually thinks that this is an acceptable way to present lifetime. Shane even went as far as down playing the roll of Rec Centers. I really wish I could give this gym 5 stars, but I cant. First I will tell you what I love... THINGS I LOVE: I love the cardio floor, always machines available and it doesn't smell! I love that! Great classes, I have tried yoga, pilates and kick boxing. I noticed some you have to pay for while a lot of them are included in your membership. Free classes, rock my sox! --The pool is awesome, its indoors and comes with a tot play area, water slide, leisure pool and a adult lap pool. Its about 90 degrees inside the pool area and the water is 85 degrees. We take our daughter swimming a lot, she has a wonderful time! Walking around in your swimsuit while its 21 degrees and snowing outside is awesome! I really look forward to swimming here in the summer. Its like a resort out there. Larger than Olympic size swimming pool, toddler pool and pool with a slide. Freaking awesome. --The locker rooms are always clean and nice. But I tend to shower (alone) in the private family showers. They never have anyone in them and frankly, I am not the type to show off my lady bits to everyone in the locker rooms after a shower. I can have all my stuff, right where I can see it and I actually get ready faster in the family showers. I appreciate the towel service too. Makes my life a lot easier! --I got a few sessions with a trainer to show me how to use the equipment and get me started on a good routine. Trainers are cool and they seem to all know there stuff. --The cafe, The food is not only healthy but its actually really good! We eat here a lot, often grabbing a salad and a smoothie with my daughter after a work out. Everything I've tried is super healthy, tastes fresh and very yummy. --They have a full salon. Ok, Me likey! They do hair, botox, facials, massages, pedicures, nails and everything else that a salon offers. Sweet touch guys! THINGS THAT NEED IMPROVEMENT: --Please install (lots of) fans on cardio floor. it gets hot! Id also love TV's on the machine itself, I'm blind! My first and largest complaint is the childcare center. This is an unorganized freaking zoo! Kids are everywhere, getting into everything, there is no baby area, toddler area and big kid area... the crawlers are in with the rambunctious three year olds, the walkers are playing with the kid computers... its just so unorganized and chaotic. Like once I saw three toddlers going through the drawers/computer check in area and no one was stopping them. While I'm sure there aren't any guns or knives in there, the kids should have been redirected to more appropriate areas of play. You know, something without computers, plugs and electrical outlets. They really need more people and maybe a cap on how many kids they can take because in the event of an emergency...I doubt that the two people in the tv area can grab over 20 kids and run. Without fail, every time I check my two year old in, I get paged not even 30 min later. This REALLY ticks me off. I pay good money for this membership and the childcare so please... let me work out, before I pull my hair out! --I have been paged many times because my daughter had a poopy diaper. (she is potty trained but still poops in her pull up) I guess they dont change diapers there. They say its a liability but really guys, I have joined a few gyms in my day and everyone changed diapers. I personally, think you are under staffed and dont have enough people to watch kids AND change diapers. This is a serious source of annoyance for me. I'm 25 min into my work out, & boom... there goes the loud speaker, blasting my name. FML! Really?! I have been paged because my daughter was crying. I go there and peek through the window, she is fine! they had the wrong tag on the wrong kid. When I finished my work out and got my daughter, they had a sticker on my daughter that said she was "Amelia" ... My daughter is not named Amelia. They wont let me/us leave until I gave them my card and showed that I had my daughter in my arms and no attempted kidnapping was taking place. Just another example of the unorganized zoo the child care center offers. I was also paged once because my daughter was crying but then stopped and they "wanted her visit to end on a happy note". Um really?! I was so ticked, I took my daughter and left. A whopping 23 minutes after I checked her in. Another note about the child care center: The little babies (like 2 and 3 month olds) are ALL in baby swings. Baby swings galore, like 12 of them in a row, all on and going with a baby in there. When I have my next baby, I am going to have to reconsider my membership because my baby laying in a swing for two hours doesn't sit well with me. Ahh, who am I kidding, I'll probably be paged for some reason and wont get to work out for more than 20 minutes anyways. So much for losing the baby weight, right? I started my membership at life time in 07 before they even opened. At that time they offered me a deal that was consider a young adult membership. This meant that would have to pay 36 dollars a month and receive 2 guest passes a month. Over time I kept on getting emails every other month saying they where increasing my fees. By the time I left lifetime I was paying sixty two dollars a month and was only allowed four guests a year and when I did bring a guest they had to pay fifteen dollars. The weight room is very nice. It can at times become a little potent with BO but what gym doesn't. The locker room also had the same issue. Another thing I did not like was that it seems like the hot tubs and water fountains in the bathroom where always broken and would take weeks to fix. Also children run wild everywhere. All the personal trainer are very nice and helpful. If they went meeting there quota they would get canned. I know the employees don't get treated very well. I was friends with several of them. In all I was very disappointed in the management of the club. The general manager is not good at his job and even if you have a small problem he will simply say "I guess life time is not for everyone. Let me get you a member cancellation sheet.". I was less than impressed with the staff and facility- their juice bar is not worth the squeeze if you catch my drift and I personally think for the facility and experience they are overcharging. Went through costco and got a 2year membership to 24hr fitness. Terrible experience with staff who have always seemed to be lenient with the guest pass rule but decide to enforce it after i brought my guest still having 1 guest pass left for the month. Anyway cooperate office calls me my card didn't work I just want to cancel they keep reminding of this funny worded contract telling me how I still have a month to pay before a can cancel they don't budge and threaten to take me to collections. Amazing place! I love it there! I go pretty much everyday except in the summer when I can do more activities outside. The locker rooms are resort-quality with granite countertops and nice, clean showers. There are always plenty of towels (although I do only try to take one, but occasionally need to grab another one). I am a lap-swimmer, and the pool is great, especially in the summer when you can lap-swim outdoors. The only bummer is that sometimes at "prime-time" it can get crowded and you have to either split a lane or wait for a lane. There are no lifeguards in the lap-pool which is fine except for when there are aqua-joggers or kids playing in one of the lap lanes which takes up a lane from lap-swimmers. (Sometimes I wish there was someone there to tell them to use the leisure pool for that stuff.) I have personally gotten around the busy times by going very early in the morning or between 2- 4 PM. There are always treadmills available and the classes and instructors are top-notch. I especially love it in the summer when I can take the kids to the pool and get food and drinks that are good for you! We make a day of it and it is really fun! My kids LOVE the "play place" and getting 2 hours of free childcare everyday is worth the joining right there. (If you are a mom who just needs a break, you can just go to the spa or the cafe or the pool in the summer, you can take the kids in and know they will have fun while you relax for a couple hours!) Note that the "busy hours" are at about 8:30-11 AM and then again in the evening. If you can make it outside of those times, it is less congested. read more

Ummmmmm, how did Life Time Fitness avoid having a Yelp listing until today??? Time to remedy this oversight! I've been a member for a year and LOVE this place. I've joined or visited many Front Range health clubs but none is in the same league as LTF. I've taken many of the group classes and have found every one to be good with excellent instructors. No matter the time of day, there are always lots of available cardio machines and all sorts of weights options. The 2nd floor is only for people 12+ so no kiddies running around the massive floor. I can't say the same about the 1st floor where there are a gazillion kids most of the time. There's a huge, fun outdoor pool which tends to get pretty crowded and an okay indoor pool. Free child care in a center with all sorts of cool things for kids. My youngest is 8 and it's too babyish for her. Really for kids 6 or 7 and under. There's a climbing wall, 2 full basketball courts, squash and racketball courts and a HUUUUGE indoor field our kids love. Is it more expensive than rec centers? Yes, but not as much as I would think for the increased quality of service at every point. read more

The Lifetime rep Shane put hold on my account and did not cancel. I was under the impression that my membership would be canceled at the end of the hold period. My account was taken off hold and the charges continued. I'm still trying to get my money back and it's been almost a year without resolution. PROS: This place is always clean. There are a huge variety of thins to do (classes, rock wall climbing, machines, weights, etc.). The sauna is awesome. The kids programs are great. The kids birthday parties are super fun for them. CONS: Since the start of 2016 this place is constantly packed with the "new year new me" crowd. I leave the gym around 6:30 and there has not been a single space to park in the massive parking lot. People park in the grass. While there are many MANY pros to this place, I think I am going to be cancelling my membership soon because it's just become so overrun. I feel like picking a gym is a big decision; you spend a lot of time and money there. I've been waiting to get a good feel for the place before reviewing it; it's been about 2 months now, so here goes: Pros Swanky - Loads of natural stone, thick glass, stainless steel. Everything looks and feels expensive. Clean - The place is spotless. I've observed a few messes (towel left in locker room, weights not put away, etc) but they've been taken care of quickly. It also SMELLS clean (usually), which is a first for me. Equipment - Not only is it in good repair, but there is TONS of it! I've gone several times during the busy afternoon period, and I've always been able to use whatever I wanted to. I've never had to 'work between sets' with someone, either. Staff - Unlike some reviewers, I've had good staff experiences. They've always been friendly, willing to help, and unobtrusive. Hours - It's open 24/7. So far I've only used this twice, going late at night, but it's very nice to know that especially on the weekends I can go whenever I want. Membership - It's month-to-month, and I didn't pay any sign up fees (I got in on a deal). Classes - Classes (Zumba, Spin, most Yoga, etc) are included with membership. Personal training and one-on-one or couples Yoga aren't, however. Cons Price - It is a little over $100 for my wife and I. I don't have a problem with this, but it is the most I've ever paid and I can understand people thinking this is high. Advertisements - Despite the cost of membership, there are advertisements. Standing signs advertising bread, people handing out samples, and they interrupt their music for advertisements. This irks me. Children - The second floor (where virtually all of the equipment is) is off-limits to kids under 12, but that first floor, especially on the weekends, is PACKED with kids. The pool is the main victim, but in the mornings when I tend to go, it isn't a problem. There are the usual 'negatives' that every gym has - nude, obese seniors towel-flossing in the locker rooms, rude meatheads in the weight lifting areas, those silent, sullen folks who stare at you until you get off of the machine/station you were using. But I can't hold that against Lifetime. Overall, I'm a fan. Unless I move, I won't be looking for another gym. read more

I retired and moved away from Parker in July 2019 after having been a member of lifetime fitness in Parker for many years. Wanting to do things correctly, I approached management explaining that I was moving too far away to continue using the facilities so I wanted to end my membership permanently. They produced paperwork that I signed and everything was fine until the spring of 2020 when they resumed charging my card for dues. I spoke to lifetime right away and they promised to remove the charges and correct their records. Not only did they lie about that but they charged me again in the next month. I disputed with my card company twice to no avail. Apparently the paper I signed (I did not get a copy) included some kind of nonsense small print saying that I needed to Reaffirm my cancellation after a period of time or I would be automatically reinstated. Since I was clear that I was moving away and would NEVER use the club again, this is a sneaky and deceptive practice designed to enrich Lifetime without them providing anything. I complained to the Colorado Attorney General, cancelled my Amex card and will continue to warn consumers every chance I get regarding this sneaky, greedy Business. If you decide to join anyway, maybe get a lawyer to read the contracts as this company is a greedy thief. read more

5/31/18 I just have to say I LOVE this place and all it offers. I love that every single trainer I've met takes so much investment in your personal goals and struggles. They all seem to work together in sharing information to the clients benefit. Now, to address those who say they "push" training sessions, I TOTALLY disagree. I will say the fitness industry as a whole has always given me a "car sales vibe" of what "I need", however here is the BIG difference, I feel as though when the trainer shared recommendations, it's truly to cut out frustration. They are a highly technical company so it actually wouldn't be fair for them not to recommend the great products/ testing they offer. I have taken advantage of several tests and they've all been dead on from what I know about my own body. I just have to say overall there's a genuine vibe from ALL (that I've met) the trainers there. No pressure, just info, and most will tell you if finances are an issue that they will give you a heads up on sales. Also, that lifetime app is AMAZING!! You can pull up workouts based on body part for weights or cardio types! I mean, that app alone is worth so much and I still don't feel like I'm using it to its full potential. ---------------------------- I am updating to add how amazing Brook the Childcare director has been with my daughter who hasn't been so willing to separate recently and everyone in the child center who is amazing with the littles! They are so friendly and have been trying really hard to distract my daughter so I can get back to my workouts. Also, I recently tried the spa and received an amazing cut from Kelli. I have long thick hair and she managed to clean it up well without taking much off the length since my goal is to donate it soon. I have YET to have a complaint about this facility and I really like the app and how it tracks your visits! I had 14 in March! It motivates me to get more in. A -------------------------------- I have to say, as someone who came from, tried and did not love the Las Vegas Summerlin location, I LOVE this location. We signed up a few weeks ago and I am doing group fitness, "Team Burn". I've only taken two classes but I really like John P as a trainer and the setting as a whole. I've also done the metabolic testing, which was a must for me as I never lose weight doing cardio and Shane was able to show me why. Our kids started swim today and the "group" lessons had 2 instructors and 2 kiddos, okay, I'll take it! I like that the PTs seem to look at you and smile and talk to you here vs the Vegas location which felt cold. So far I've gotten more workouts in since we've joined than in the past few years combined . I love that we can leave our kiddos and not fear getting an overhead page bc our kiddos love it read more

This gym accommodated my out of town travel with ease. Much appreciated. It has all the equipment one needs and that is in every other Life Time. My only suggestion would be staff may need to clean a bit and customers may want to avoid early early mornings because for some odd reason, there are a number of gym goers that seem to like to cheer themselves on (when alone) and count reps aloud. If you are looking for a huge club and kid friendly environment, then check out LifeTime. I have been a member in two states for over 13 years and have seen it all. The Parker & East Dry Creek, CO locations are always very, very busy, but there is also a ton of equipment. I do not take classes or have kids so I can not rate those areas. I like the 24-hour access and the fact that almost every club is exactly the same. They could use a few more free weight benches, but the equipment is well maintained. With any large club, there will always be issues. I recommend leaving valuables at home. LifeTime is perfect for those who want to workout, but don't expect customer service or to see managers walking the floor or anyone around to assist. read more

I have been a member for 6 months, including my family - 4 kids,(ages 13,12,11 and 8) and my husband. The 6 months have not been awesome. On a Saturday, prior to swimming lessons for my 8 year old, my 11 year old and 8 year old were playing in the pool. I was sitting in the chair in the pool area in street clothes watching my children with my husband. Both children have passed the outdoor swim test and are able to swim alone. I was approached by a lifeguard and told that I needed to get into the pool with my kids in my street clothes as I must be within 10 feet of them during open swim. What? Upon canceling the swimming lessons, I was told by a different person that the rule really was to be within 25 feet of your kids, so I could stand next to the pool. A third person told me that that I didn't need to be in the pool, I could sit at the side of the pool with my feet in the water. What? Needless to say, I canceled the memberships for my children. The 8 year old only had 1 level to complete and she would have been done with swimming lessons. I am there often to see the rule of being within 10 feet of swimming children is not enforced. For example, one evening I was in the sauna, while another guest was taking about her 6 and 7 year old girls that were swimming in the pool by the slides, unattended. Sadly enough, I was at Lifetime during swimming lessons when a child had to be pulled out of the water by his father because the swimming instructor was not paying attention. The paramedics were called. This summer I was fortunate enough to be outside when a 3 to 4 year old child was in the pool, next to the lifeguard chair. The boy got tangled up in his swim toy/flotation devise and kept going under the water. I pulled the boy out of the water, his father come to get him. My husband had a stern conversation with the lifeguard that didn't do anything to assist the child. I am a member of the Parker club only. In July and September I was charged for personal training sessions at the Centennial club by the same personal trainer. Again, what? I cannot go to that club - my membership level will not allow it. How did the Personal Trainer access my credit card on file to make those charges, not once but twice? The first time I called the club to voice my concerns. The money was refunded within 7 business days. The second time, I went directly to the Centennial club. They said there was nothing they could do, it was after 5:00 pm. I was told 2-3 people would be calling to follow-up, I am still waiting on 2 of those people. As a result, I filed a police report for identity theft to get my money put back into my account. My final concern. An employee at the Centennial location was wearing a political t-shirt. Am I to assume this is the political affiliation of Lifetime Fitness? If so..... I am incredibly annoyed with way the situation was/wasn't handled. In speaking with person that oversee swim services, she was shockingly dismissive, lacked empathy and the ability to treat members the way I feel they should be treated. I do get to choose where I spend my money, Lifetime is not the only fitness club. read more
