Awesome gym!! Great for a solid work out, AND for entertaining kids! The pools (indoor/outdoor) are huge and very fun (slides!), lifeguards are nice and attentive, and the zero entry is great for little tots. Locker rooms are always clean, and the family locker room is very convenient. Tons of equipment - everything you could need or want and so far I've never had to wait for a machine. I haven't taken a class yet, but have heard they're awesome, and they do offer a wide variety. Not to mention, the kids club(!) the rock wall(!) the cafe(!) and spa(!), the cafe has great healthy options, my family is gluten free and we have no trouble finding healthy options. Yes, this gym is pretty expensive. However, I believe it is worth it for the services, selection, and atmosphere. I choose to either go before or after work depending on my motivation at 4am. Even during the peak hours, there is plenty of parking. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (Holidays can be different). The locker rooms are huge and have showers, a steam room, and a sauna. Upstairs is where most of the workouts happen. They have the largest selection of cardio equipment I have ever seen. Their lifting selection has newer machines and free weights. I think the value comes in with the classes though. Some are free and some are paid. The newest greatest value though is the TEAM classes. It is an additional 150$ per month. But you get 12 small sized classes for that 150$. If the average cost for an hour long personal training session is 100$, then you essentially are saving 1,000$ a month with the team classes. I don't have 1,000$ to spend on gym classes...I wish I did, but I don't have to now! They also have pools, hot tubs, squash, racketball, basketball, kids clubs, challenges, a spa, and a cafe. Yes, it can get crowded, but I have never had to wait to use a cardio machine, and never had to look for someone to help me. Highly recommended! read more

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I've been a member of some nice clubs when I lived in Atlanta, and this one is by far the best. I love the indoor and outdoor pools, squash, and weight room, but had an issue a few years ago before Jeff May became manager. I am on a tight schedule like a lot of people, and used to get to the stationary bike classes, but when I got there 20 minutes before class, a tight clique of riders had already placed towels or water bottles on the bikes to "save" them. The only ones left were in the corners or right in the front row. When I asked the previous manager, she said, "Well, those are our women riders and they feel better working out together. You can always come earlier and reserve a bike." Well, no, I can't come 30 minutes before class to put a water bottle on. I was later told that 10 minutes before class, if a bike was "saved", I could just remove it and it's that person's tough luck." Yeah, that would have gone over well. Maybe it's changed and they have rules against saving now, but I have avoided the class for a few years. I told Jeff later that I was basically told it was my tough luck by the previous manager (I still have the email). He said that was unacceptable. My only other complaint was the lifeguards. I was swimming in the outdoor lap pool and got smacked in the face by a small (but hard) football that some adults were throwing at high speed. I told the guard if they didn't say something, I would, and it was not going to be pretty. They didn't, and I got hit again, and I whipped the ball over the fence into the parking lot. Overcrowded, overpriced, and it feels way too "corporate". Always an upswell. We tried a 60 day challenge and were harassed constantly about personal training sessions...the "challenge" Is just another sales gimmick. They have oversold memberships and horrendously oversold child care admission, so there is constantly a wait to get your child checked in each morning...meaning, missed classes because all the group classes are stacked in the same time slot. Pay extra for Kids Academy and no priority check in...meaning, unless you are willing to get there 20-30 minutes early, your kid will get locked out of a class you pay for. They give zero craps about the customer experience, just about making their corporate quotas every week. Just sad to see this place go downhill. read more

My girlfriend used to work out here. She had a "personal trainer" named Cody" In which there sessions were usually in the early morning 2/3 am, or late night, came to find out he was more then her trainer. His number was "blocked" in her contacts, however he was still her trainer. He tried to tell me he didn't know her when I confronted him thru a phone call on my phone. Seconds later I called from her phone and he answered "hey Andrea why is this guy calling me what did he find". She made up excuses until she eventually just kept contradicting herself and had to come clean. He not only is married with children, but trying to have relations with his clients. She stated that, he has me do a lot of leg and glute work outs. "Supporting her glutes" with his hands as she did her work out. I witnessed this when I went as her guest and he didn't know who I was or that I was even there with her. read more

It took a lot of experimenting with awful, cheap local gyms before I found these guys - without a doubt one of the best gyms in the State. Their team is professional, their locker rooms are immaculate, your gear is secure in their lockers, the trainers are absolutely outstanding (Exceptional mention to Snake Blocker (general training) and Marty Z (spin class master). And their equipment is superb - they have everything (with the possible exception of a boxing ring, for which I am sincerely grateful!). They have classes in everything from yoga to spinning, and their facility is so immense you will seldom if ever have to wait for a machine. They ARE expensive, no doubt - but another example of getting what you pay for. read more

It's absolute ridiculous that they really do nothing about the fact hardly anyone except the staff wear masks. People blatantly walk around with out a mask, or it's under their chin or hanging from their ear. They have signage posted on every machine but they do nothing to enforce it unless asked to. I've been a member of Lifetime Fitness since 2008, and am a regular at the Parker location. Sometimes I go to the Dry Creek Road location because they have a large tennis facility there. The Life Cafe is nice, and the equipment is upscale. However, I feel like the cleanliness in the Women's Locker Room could be improved. I've also visited the spa a few times for facials and recommend them for that. I do have to add though, their steam room with Eucalyptus essential oil is AMAZING and has definitely helped me out when I have sinus congestion going on or need to detox. read more

Lifetime fitness is such a nice place. All of the people I have encountered here are so kind. I've been coming to this gym for some time and have continued to get to know the staff. Lori at the front desk is so kind to me and everyone I see she interacts with. My kids love her too since she is so fun with them. The pool area is very clean and it is a great day activity. The outdoor pool is pretty busy but that is expected, but is still a positive experience. The upstairs weight area is also very nice and I've heard very good things about all the personal trainers. read more

I have been a member since they opened. And the only reason I am still a member, is that my son likes the pool and the climbing wall. I would have to say that I tolerate Life Time Fitness. I think it boils down to the staff having no clue what customer service means. For example, they were out of ketchup at the "Cafe" one time, so I asked if they could get some more. They explained they were out completely. Really? My face must have shown my dismay because the girl commented back: "Well, people really like ketchup!". Yes, people like me. The guy standing here. One thing that was attractive when I first joined too was the turf field. But when it is not rented out, or being used for classes, it is equally unusable. We have tried to use it on cold days and it is over-run by tweens whizzing footballs or seeing how high they can kick a soccer ball and no playing attention to where they are running. I had my son in swim class for a while, but I could not bear the frustration. He would be progressing nicely and then the instructor would quit. The new instructor would start from the beginning and then they would quit. This cycle continued and when I talked to the swim management staff they could care less. With all of this, you would think I had learned my lesson... But my son really wanted to have a birthday there. So I scheduled it and paid the $200+ deposit. I was told as the date got closer, I would be contacted for the final details. I was never contacted, so a couple days before the party I called and Lifetime knew nothing about the party. I got a call back and they apologized and we nailed down the details. The day before the party, I got a confirmation email and things seemed to be on track. The day of the party, I arrived :15 before to decorate and set things up. But nobody was there and guests started showing up before I could track someone down. Lifetime had no clue there was a party at that time. They actually had to pull two people out of childcare to run the party. So in the end, my ice cake was melting waiting for the staff and my brother did most the decoration work while I tried to block this from the kids and their parents. The kids had fun, but it was extremely stressful. I emailed the girl back that I talked to on the phone and got the confirmation email from, with no reply. I also contacted the General Manager by phone with no reply. The bottom line is that the staff does not give a s%*t. If you are going there and admire granite and wood, then you will probably like it. If you have to interact with any human being there, then you will someday probably be writing a review like this. We really did enjoy this gym....AT FIRST...loved the pool, the classes, even had massages and ate in the restaurant which was fine. After a while the pool became overly crowded with rude kids (one 8 yr old mouthed off to me for asking the swimming coach to please open up a lane for other swimmers) who we're constantly in the hot tub with parents ignoring the large signs. When I complained I was told to go to the front desk to report the offenders as this is a liability issue, Yes I'll be happy to do this in my dripping wet bathing suit!! Sorry your job to patrol and enforce your rules!! I'll just make a list as I too hate reading long paragraphs about stuff. Yes, the kids in hot tub, I mean little ones splashing around! OMG I'm here to relax, and I do love kids, but NOT during my relaxing ME time! (back to the list) dirty bathrooms CHARGES ON MY CC AFTER I LEFT. YES YOU HAVE TO PAY TO QUIT THIS PLACE!! They didn't care that we quit and did not so much as inquire why. Manager was not nice. emailed corporate about charges on cc and NEVER received any response. If they want to earn your business back, whatever the reason you've left, they don't know how to do that!! Horrible exit experience and this is apparently my only recourse! Bottom line, we spent a lot of money here and although the facility is nice, good machines, most of the staff were nice.........it's all about the crappy management of this place, which would have made all the difference to us. read more

Participated in two group classes today: gluteus Max and HIIT. Both gave me a challenging workout. Unlike yesterday at the Westminster gym, staff was friendly and asked if I needed anything. The staff at the Life Cafe brought me my hot tea and Emerald Green Protein Shake instead if calling back up to the counter ‍. No motion plates at this facility Like the other gym, the steam and dry sauna were both in the ladies locker room. I like this feature. read more

Alright, now that we've been at the gym a little longer I have no choice but to take away one big star. I still maintain, the staff upstairs, (trainers, RD's, etc) are a phenomenal support and so knowledgeable. However, the childcare experience I've had has been maddening. The childcare portion would get a 1 star rating. My children have been bullied on multiple occasions. The attendants had no idea because they are always too busy chatting at the front desk with each other. I have also witnessed other children being bullied when I picked up my children. It is quite appalling. Sure, "kids will be kids", but the reason for having staff there is to keep them safe and that should be a part of it. The attendants need to be less concerned about their water cooler chat and more interactive and watchful so children don't end up afraid and hurt. Oh, and put a smile on! Seriously, there are one or two ladies in there who actually smile, the rest look like they are so unhappy. If you don't like being around kids get another job! Also, the fabulous center full of tunnels to climb and basketball courts are apparently shut down half the day, (information I was not given upon signing up.) This leaves the baby area and the computers. This is not the full interactive center I signed up for... I brought up these complaints with the General Manager and acting supervisor. They acknowledged the concerns but I can't say as I've seen much of any improvement. I don't think we will stay for much longer because I really don't' like having to take my kids there and I can't always go to the gym when they are in school... read more

I was bouncing around on whether I should leave 1 or 2 stars. The ONLY reason I decided on leaving 2 stars is that you can put your kids in childcare for 2 hours a day. The membership is worth it for this reason alone, so if you have kids this might be the place for you. As far as the rest, it is truly a "Meh" experience. The trick with lifetime is that when you join, it looks great. The staff appears to be attentive, and the facility looks great. Then you join, and the problems begin 1. Equipment: For the amount you pay in membership, there should be 1-2 machines down MAX at any given time. There is always more. Also, I went through a 6 month period where the eucalyptus steam room in the mens locker room did not mix the eucalyptus in the steam. This was my favorite post workout place, and they let it be broken for an insanely long amount of time. It might still be broken for all I know, I stopped trying a long time ago. 2. Service: The Cafe staff is 100% hit and miss. On 3 separate occasions in recent memory, I have been ignored at the counter while they chatted amongst themselves. One time I was in the middle of ordering, and another staff member cut me off to ask the person I was talking to a question. They literally just started talking in the middle of my order. I expect a lot more from a "resort" level club. 3. Operations: The policies here are archaic and not at all customer focused. If you have kids in classes, they require 30 days notice for cancellation. Why? If you want to just pull your kids out, even for another class (which means the facility will still be earning) they double charge you. There have been months where between the cafe,membership, and kids classes we have spent in the 500 dollar range, which is pretty insane for a gym. They still refused to work with us when we wanted to make simple changes to kids programs. Don't think the Ops manager or GM will be helpful either. 4. Guest Passes: I have had family from all over the country come and visit me. They usually stay for a week. When you ask for a day pass so they can come to the gym, they charge you. They have a membership level that costs a lot extra where you can get 4 guest passes a year (joke. It is cheaper to just buy the passes one off.). If my brother or father or father in law are in town, I should not have to pay for them to come when I spend 500 dollars a month. Small gestures like this are what make or break a customer service experience in my mind. Its 10 bucks a day or 40 dollars a week per person (so 80 dollars for a week if your parents are in town, or you are entertaining a couple. Way to pricey for a guest rate) 5. Atmosphere: Luckily I can go during the workweek, as I am retired. If you show up between 7-11 AM or 4-10 PM, the locker rooms will be borderline unusable. I have walked past 4 locker bays before I saw a free locker, and there will usually be 3-5 people trying to use 2 benches. Very uncomfortable feeling. I will say If you can get in when there is not a lot of people, and you don't interact with staff, it is pleasant. It is the only reason besides childcare that I am still a member. 6. Conclusion: This place is going to seem awesome for your first 1-3 months, because it truly is a top tier place construction wise. The problem is that it is managed poorly. If they could control the equipment issues and the life cafe staff, and be more customer focused instead of club focused, it would be a much better place. It would make it a lot easier to deal with the constant overcrowding. read more

This place is a pathetic joke right now. They are literally just letting teenage kids walk right in into the gym off the street with no memberships. I have been sitting in the lobby for about 10 minutes and just saw all these kids walk in with no memberships or wanting a "guest pass" to work out. The gym right now is cluttered with obnoxious teenage kids with no memberships, and teens with "guest passes" For $100+ a month, you gotta deal with a YMCA setting, and non members just allowed to walk in and use the facility. Its a total joke right now with no pass members and overcrowded teens with "guest passes" with most likely no intent to buy a membership. Stay away from this place. read more

I understand they want you to wear these masks, however the GM is taking this a bit too far!! He walks the floor several times making people wear them above the nose and is now kicking people out. Yesterday I saw a member next to me take a drink of his water, set it down and put his mask back in place but seconds later was scolded by the GM for not putting his mask back up before putting his water down, telling him his mask is priority. THIS is absolutely ridiculous that he would lecture a grown man like this especially in front of other members!!! There is no reason for him to walk around taking it to that level! The member was furious and embarrassed and ended up just leaving, this is in no way acceptable. Next... emails or notifications should be sent out if the gym is closing early! I live 15 miles from the gym and got there as another member was walking out telling me they were closing in 5 min. I told 2 others as I was leaving, texted 2 more, 1 of whom was on his way and not one of us got any kind of alert or emails that the gym was closing. The customer service here seems to be focused on the interest of the gym and not it's members! read more

It is hard to believe that I'm enrolled in a gym. But it is true, my fellow yelpers, I have been a member at Lifetime Fitness since 2007. My husband and I signed up when the gym wasn't even built...back when registrations were done at the portables. So, what have I learned about my gym in the last 3 years? Pros: - Posh facilities - Good equipment, sauna, pool, changing area, lockers, basketball court and so on - Childcare facilities are a plus - Café and salon are functionally great add-ons Cons: - The membership is quite expensive (Ours is around $150 for just the two of us) - Most services are at an added cost - Most staff have a strong sales focus. I get that they're out there to make a profit. But most conversations with staff somehow find a way to incorporate a sales pitch - Some staff have a very holier-than-thou attitude The swimming pool is a hassle for people who are trying to get in the water for just a swim and don't want a million kids splashing around. After 8PM, the pool is closed for kids, and that's when I can peacefully go for a swim. Call me selfish, but for $150 a month, I reserve the right to atleast a tiny part of the pool that doesn't feel like a free-community pool. I wish there were more free sessions - maybe one that would teach novices how to use strength training equipment. I agree with a previous yelper comment that service can sometimes be meh. So here's how I broke down the point system: One point down for service; 0.5 point down for better pool regulations; 0.25 down for the countless attempts to sell me stuff and poor treatment if I didn't buy. Let me just say that anyone who is going to base whether or not to join a gym off of someone who had a bad experience because they took advantage of being a guest is just silly. Pretty much any business is going to look down on folks who try to get into their membership based business all the time without paying for a membership. I mean that is how they make the money to make this place so AWESOME. That being said I will now tell you my experience with Lifetime Fitness. As soon as I walked into Lifetime I knew I had to join. My boyfriend had mentioned he wanted to join Lifetime Fitness because a friend of his is a member and they wanted to workout together. I was apprehensive at first because I had never heard of them plus they were located further away then the 24 hour fitness. I actually tried to talk him into going to 24 instead! Well he talked me into visiting the website for Lifetime and it certainly peaked my interest with all the amenities like basketball courts, a spa/salon, a yoga studio plus 2 additional studios for group classes and a state of the art spin studio. They also have a cafe and smoothy bar. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Since they were running a special we figured we should go check out the place for ourselves so we dropped in and were referred to Brian who showed us everything and talked to us about the memberships. Brian was great answering all my questions and really showing us how we can benefit from the gym based off of our goals and interest. We ended up getting a couples membership and considering all you get it was worth the price. So far as a member I have had an outstanding experience. The place is so clean and even at peak hours (when I get off work and head over there) there are more then enough machines to use. The pool is outstanding and very clean. They also have a seasonal outdoor pool that looks awesome so I can't wait until next summer when I can use that. There is also an outdoor and indoor rock climbing wall that is included in your membership. They offer tons of classes including Zumba! Seriously I can't say enough about Lifetime. The locker rooms are also fantastic and very clean. I was a huge fan of 24 hour fitness a while back but the place was not as clean as lifetime nor did they have the amount of amenities as lifetime. I also like that Lifetime is month to month so you can cancel anytime and are not stuck in a contract. Not that I want to leave...This place is so cool you WANT to drive out there and work out. They also have sports clubs and events plus you get discounts at local stores and restaurants as a member. I can't say enough. I am in love! Oh and I discovered it was only a 10 minute drive from my house so I guess its not as far as I thought! I guess you can try the club free for 7 days but it only took a 1 hour tour of the place to make up my mind. I say try it out and see if it is for you. I have to mention one more thing...The yoga studio is a REAL yoga studio. Very quiet and they have bikram Yoga which if you joined a yoga studio you would pay MORE then you would pay at Lifetime. I know this because I used to be a Core Power member and loved their classes but with Lifetime I get classes to the level I would at Core Power but I also get all the other stuff. I live next door and they blast their music early in the morning. I have called and let them know and was assured they would fix it. They haven't and it's been months. They wake me up most mornings with crazy loud music and yelling. If this is how they treat their neighbor I would hate to be a client. I also loved the gal that did my hair at the salon but I refuse to spend my money with them anymore because of this issue. They obviously don't care. read more

Me and my wife canceled in October of 2019. My wife was canceled and my membership was not. I have not been in and I called the club 3 times prior to the Covid shut down and I was told by 2 separate sales associates that they would cancel me and refund me the 3 months I have paid. This was in February of 2020. I waited a month, never got my refund and never canceled. It is now April 2020 and I am still getting charged. I have called the number that transfers you to the corporate office and spoke to 3 different people who all told me the same thing. " I will have my boss call you shortly." I waited 2 weeks and never received a call back. Whoever I spoke with today, FINALLY canceled my membership April 10 2020. I have been trying to get it canceled since I left the club in October. I was told I don't get a refund for ANY of the months I have been paying and without the receipt of the day I canceled I won't. I was never given a receipt the day I canceled. I was told I would not need it. I have been toyed with since October of 2019 and i never got any of my Money back that I was told I would get back from multiple people. It's unprofessional that I can never receive a call back with answers. I just get transferred from person to person until you guys hope I give up. I have been a member of this lifetime on and off since 2013 and the great experience I had at the club was ruined by the customer service I received when I canceled. read more

When it comes to gyms this place is in a league of it's own. The look, the feel, and the lack of smell makes it a great place to work out. My trainer told me that when the owner, who is from MN, comes to locations to visit the first thing that he checks is how the place smells. I have to give them credit for this one. They provide tons of free classes and more than a few if you have extra money just laying around and you don't know what to do with. The one thing that I like, besides the Barbell Strength class, is the personal trainer area. They are always helpful and ready to answer questions. They seem very knowledgeable and willing to help. Currently I'm not using a personal trainer but from time to time I may need one, so I'm always on the look on who was helpful and friendly. read more

Definitely expensive, but it's a great gym. Lots of classes included with membership. 2 pools with slides, rock wall gyms, full courts, etc. Clean facilities and lockers, fresh towels, and even wipes for cleaning machines off after use, which people do seem to be considerate and do. The childcare is great, costs $12/month per kiddo. Staff are very nice and supportive. We have a child and a toddler who both enjoy going, although the toddler does tend to get sick easily after having been there. Mornings are busy but we've never been waitlisted. The paid classes in the workout areas tend to take up a lot of the floor on weekday mornings, but there is always plenty of equipment. We're enjoying our membership so far, just wish it wasn't so pricey!! read more

All these new people and I've witnessed several walk away from their machines without returning to clean it. Disgusting. Do people even understand the gunk that you can pass onto others at a gym?! Alrighty guys be prepared to have your wallets stripped and your life signed away to a ever binding contract. I've tried to cancel my membership here so many times it's insane. I even tried to cancel with someone at the front desk and they said to just call back during business hours. After my flight to Europe for my extensive stay, they said I just needed to come in and cancel my membership in person. After paying for multiple months because I couldn't come in and cancel, I come in to cancel it in person and they demand no ID or proof that I am who I am. Not only that I was informed I could have cancelled through MAIL...... This place is a joke and the policies are for their profit. Not for your privacy or safety haha, they literally make THOUSANDS off of this rule. With multiple people and not ever 3% have the patience after to write a review like this. Over priced and over rated. 24hr fitness offers wayyy better options at half the price. Do you really wanna pay twice that amount and have a couple more features? I really like the cleanliness, the staff has been super helpful, several different options to exercise. It's my playground. The only downside for me is that the lifeguard crew can be very gossipy and loud, not the best thing to listen to when you are trying to relax and enjoy the pool but hey I was a teenager once too. read more

On the negative side, all the core classes are super crowded. The daycare center is so crowded, I felt like I was tossing my toddler into a punk rock mosh pit. I've been a member at life time for several years and just recently moved to Parker. I had done the paper work to have my "home gym" changed over here and was told by a manager that I was good to go. I've been coming to this gym for the past several months with no issue until this morning I woke up early ready to go to the gym and was told I was not allowed in because i wasn't a member at this location. I explained to her that I had changed my membership and that I had already spoken To a manager. Maddison then started talking down to me like I wasn't good enough to be apart of this club.... I was told that I needed to come back later when I can speak to a manager but was still not allowed to enter. I brought this up to the manager when I came back and it didn't seem that he cared about his employees actions and he just brushed it off. It shouldn't be normal to talk down to people and treat them like lower class because you seem to not be able to do your job correctly and do the paperwork right the first time. read more

Went in to put myself back into a membership and the two front desk employees tried to get the two sales guys to help but apparently they were too busy talking about schedules. Was asked to step around to the back of the desk to wait to sign the paperwork and then was told to come back tomorrow so I wouldn't be charged any fees. Never asked if I could come back just to come back. The solo star given is that they did say I could workout and sign tomorrow. Sorry to report I am busy tomorrow. read more

I was turned away at the door even though I had a pass. They wanted me to speak to their sales guy first who wasn't available. Had you just have me sign a waiver and worked out there I probably would've joined. Instead I took my business to a place that was more accommodating down the road. read more

I've been a member of all the national gym brands, including Lifetime, LA Fitness, 24 Hour and Planet Fitness with multiple locations of each. This is my favorite gym I've ever been to. In addition to indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, indoor and outdoor play fields...spa, food and more....on top of the biggest and most comprehensive weight and training rooms, it can get any better. The membership and "traffic" aren't too bad and I've always had the best experience with the customer service. I've been a member for a year and would recommend to anyone. Not sure why the ratings are so low. The only negative could be the cost, but you pay for what you get..and what you get is exceptional. read more

Fantastic gym at a great location. I was only in town visiting friends who had a membership. The sales rep, Corey, helped with getting a pass during my stay. I wish this gym was near where I live. Large facility that is clearly well maintained with plenty of new equipment, a variety of classes, and great amenities to include a rock wall and large lap pool. Even at the busy times there did not appear to be an issue using the equipment. Lots of staff ready to assist. Highly recommend! read more
