This was definitely a way better experience than the first! Thank you for a great massage and the friendly staff.

I actually agree with the woman who said to avoid this place if you are a woman…read more Hands down the worst massage I have EVER had in my entire life. Garry, I assume that is his name, is creepy. He talked the entire massage. I laid there for an hour analyzing why he would actually think I would enjoy knowing his ex lived somewhere in some remote part of Texas. Ok- so I went with my partner, and I'm not talking about my business parter, and we have matching rings. He flat out asked me during the massage that he noticed we had matching rings and that he thought it was hot. I replied they were BFF rings because quite frankly I was, at that point, completely mortified by this person. Luckily, the hour was almost up and the last 10 minutes were actually the best because his phone rang in the middle of the session and he answered it. It was a blessing.... I got to listen to him book an appointment for who he said was a regular. I then began to analyze that and I started to lose faith in humanity... Needless to say, my partner went before me and I almost bitch slapped her when I got into the car for the fact she never rescued me from this grotesque being. Yes, I attempted to add humor for the sake of getting some funny hits, but the events are based on a true story.

I don't think I've ever had a massage quite like this - very thorough but gentle. Lots of easy stretches. The masseuse made good use of gravity to apply light pressure. I almost felt like I was being guided through some yoga floor exercises at times. The room I was in was cobbled together out of curtains, and was bright through the opaque window shades. It was very private, but not as dim as I'm used to. The massage bed was heated which is a really nice touch! I only got a 60 minute massage, which I kind of regret, as I still have some residual knots that are lingering. I do appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me.

I picked this place based on reviews, and being able to get in the same day. I sent a message on Yelp, and then set up my appointment via text. I showed up for my appointment and completed a one-page check in sheet about pains, etc. Then I was in my room, undressed, under the sheet in no time. I picked the Tai/Combo massage (from the website: techniques from Thai, Swedish, deep tissue and other styles). I was in heaven. The woman doing the massage rubbed on me, and was up on the table with me a couple of times to stretch and move my body around. It was all wonderful. My hour was up and I felt like jelly. At checkout, they gave me a bottle of water and that was nice. I am all for self-care these days, and this was a good way to spend $70 for an hour of Zen.

I want to preface this with I AM a Massage therapist and have been for a decade. As such I was so…read moreexcited to book a Traditional Thai Massage (one of the modalities I'm trained in). With that said, not only did I NOT receive a thai massage, they had me undress (which you don't do in thai massage) and what followed was the worst massage of my life. I booked a traditional thai massage, confirmed when I got to the desk, and then restated that's what I wanted when they found me fully clothed waiting. They told me THEIR thai massage had oil and I was to remove my clothes but keep my underwear on. I told them I just wanted a traditional Thai Massage. (Which shouldn't be in their business name and on their menu if that's not what they do?) I 1,000% know it is illegal to uncover someone's glutes fully, but that didn't stop my therapist from pulling not only the blanket down to my thighs, but also pulling my underwear (a thong which already exposed the sides of my glutes) down to my thighs, fully exposing my entire butt. Let me be clear, this is absolutely illegal and unprofessional, there is a law specifically stating you cannot do this. EVER. - not to mention I am a female and my therapist was a male. It was clear this therapist wasn't trained in hot stones (something else I'm trained in), and the massage itself was abysmal. If they were in massage school and this was their final, they would not pass. And they shouldn't have. Afterwards I again asked the front desk about ACTUAL Thai Massage and if they dont have thai massage where else does - they said that there's one woman on staff who provides it (who obviously wasn't available when I came in). I don't know why she didn't just tell me this to begin with instead of take my money and my peace of mind. I left here a thoroughly unsatisfied customer. If the (NOT Thai) Massage had been good, I wouldn't have been so upset over her deception. But to lie to me, and then get something so sub par? I would NEVER do this to a client. I'd give 0/5 stars if I could. And truly unless you know a therapist at this business that's actually good, I wouldn't recommend anyone go. I even came on yelp to read the reviews and thought it'd be a good choice. Nope.
