I really wanted to like this place. Someone who gets massages weekly. I just moved to Richardson…read morefrom Houston. I would go to Cloud 9 every weekend in Houston for my self care massages. Since June I have been looking for a Massage place I can call home. I booked the night before for a full body massage. My appointment was at 10am and I arrived 15min before. Upon arrival the door was open and no one was at the front desk. I waited for a good 10min completed the intake form that was sitting on the counter and waited. Finally someone came to the front and questioned if I had an appointment. (I'm assuming because I booked the night before they didn't have a record of it? Idk). However, I showed the lady my booking confirmation on my phone and she proceeded to guide me to the room. The massage started off amazing, perfect pressure truly relaxing amazing massage. I was laying there thinking okay despite the arrival this will be my home. Then within the last 15-20 min of my massage some lady, assuming another therapist, barges in my room and starts talking in their native tongue to my therapist while she was massaging me. It wasn't a quiet quick question type of talk, it was loud abrasive and she talked to her the entire last 20 min of my massage. I truly could not believe what was going on. Then when my massage was over my therapist walked me to the front and told me because I'm paying with tap it was an additional $5. Okay whatever I didn't mind. The massage was $70 and the tap made it $75. Then she says "how much you adding for tip"? I looked at her and said "are you serious? When you and that other lady had a full on conversation the last 20 min of my massage? That was rude, inconsiderate, and definitely not professional. I'm paying $75." I really wanted to love this spot. It's not far from my house and the massage was great. But the customer service was horrible.

A Hidden Gem in South Garland!…read more Morning Dew Massage & Wellness shines with excellence! When you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and welcomed into a bright, inviting space that immediately puts you at ease. My massage therapist, Jose, was exceptional. After shoulder surgery and completing physical therapy, I still had lingering discomfort. Jose quickly identified the areas needing attention. I began with deep tissue massages twice a week, gradually moving to weekly sessions as my pain subsided. The pain is gone but I am continuing with monthly deep tissuemassages for overall wellbeing. Of note: I appreciated Jose taking time following each massage to pinpoint areas of treatment on an anatomical chart and answering all of my questions. In the welcoming area after the massage I was offered cold water or hot tea. My favorite was hibiscus tea with honey served in a dainty cup and saucer--a little zen time before stepping out into the 'real' world! Morning Dew is a stellar experience from start to finish. I'm so proud that South Garland hosts this little jewel. Highly recommend!

There was also a banner advertising it had just opened and was offering hour foot massages for $25 which is $5 less than what I normally pay in the D-F-Dub. The banner also indicated there were "couple rooms" so my girlfriend and I decided to be a couple and get a foot massage together. We were greeted by nice lady who spoken broken English but understood what we wanted and took us directly to the couple rooms in the back. If you don't go to the couples room, you're placed in a big open but.dark room in the middle with a total of 6 chairs. Good thing I had my "girlfriend" with me that day! The room was clean and the chair was big and comfy. The massage therapist placed our feet in herbal hot water. While our feet soaked, she massaged our faces with scented lotion. That was nice. They never leave the room to dump the water which I think is nice because it adds more time to your massage. Unfortunately, I don't think my lady was skilled in the art of reflexology. It felt like she was just rubbing here and there. I was looking for a deep tissue massage on my back with some work with the elbows to get my knots out but the lady was just rub rub rub-a-dubbing around. It did nothing to me and I felt jipped. I did like the heart shaped hole they cut in the napkin for you to lay your face into. So cute! Well, I felt jipped again when it was time to pay. The cashier tells us "It will be $29.99". "Umm... it says you have a special going on for $25 out there" "Oh I sowwie - special ended just earlier this week. We were supposed to take down the banner but haven't had the time to" (Really lady?? False advertisement!) Double wham... It's a tough market out there in the foot massage industry... get it together peoples!
