When you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and welcomed into a bright, inviting space that immediately puts you at ease. My massage therapist, Jose, was exceptional. After shoulder surgery and completing physical therapy, I still had lingering discomfort. Jose quickly identified the areas needing attention. I began with deep tissue massages twice a week, gradually moving to weekly sessions as my pain subsided. The pain is gone but I am continuing with monthly deep tissuemassages for overall wellbeing. Of note: I appreciated Jose taking time following each massage to pinpoint areas of treatment on an anatomical chart and answering all of my questions. In the welcoming area after the massage I was offered cold water or hot tea. My favorite was hibiscus tea with honey served in a dainty cup and saucer--a little zen time before stepping out into the 'real' world! Morning Dew is a stellar experience from start to finish. As I waited for my chair massage, a male and female tech were clearly arguing loudly with each other. The male tech ended up doing my chair massage and right away, he was extremely heavy-handed. I stopped him and told him, and he was much lighter for a few minutes. I had to stop him again towards the end of my massage because he put his elbow into my spine, causing pain. He clearly does not know what he's doing at all. When I paid, he asked for a tip. I told him no, and that he hurt me. I always believe in tipping 20% or more for good service, but this was far from that. Sadly, I probably will never return.
