My husband and I have chronic back issues and it isn't an easy task to work on our bodies; however at Massage Moon, they were able to relax our back, relief our pains in a most professional, knowledgeable way possible. The ambiance is very relaxing, extremely family oriented and they are very respectful. There is no language barrier, there is absolutely no issue whatsoever with this place or with the people there. Got to the door and told me he wouldn't honor the appointment because he does t make any money on Groupon but i could pay additional $75 for an appointment. Very rude. Lack of customer service is an understatement. So illl provide context. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, so he decided to surprise me with a couples massage. We arrived to message moon. Strike one: all of the parking in front of the facility was taken up and there are no signs directing patrons to additional parking.that we eventually located in the back of the property. Strike two: the door was locked for some reason and when the clerk opened the door it was pitch black and she immediately responded with "do you have an appointment?". We stated "yes we do", so she then closed the door in our face and proceeded to talk to someone whom I presumed to be the manager. A older guy comes to the door with a look of confusion, asking if we have an appointment, we stated "yes" and he then responds with "not here". So my boyfriend ask if they have any other locations and he says "no". So my boyfriend then responds with "well maybe we have the wrong location", the guys shuts the door in our face and does not even attempts to get our business even though they list they accept walk-ins. I would not recommend this place and urge others to stay away. Update 7/19/2020: So my boyfriend decided to do additional checking of his phone records and realized this was in fact the correct location. The day prior to our appointment he called to confirm his slot and after checking the phone number it was in fact the correct location. Came in yesterday after purchasing the massage originally on GroupOn pre-COVID 19. I had a Asian lady that is a little hard to understand but not enough to walk out of the awesome massage she gave me. Talk about strong! Wow. This is not one of those pansy 5 minute massages, she knows how to work those knots and make the hurt worth it. She was very nice and would always let me know when the pain would occur because there was so much to work out. I appreciate how clean the place was. It's small but cozy. This therapist and the other person who is a guy (owner) are the only therapist that I can see what I can appreciate, as finding a consistent massage experience is hard. I've been to this place twice. It's a husband and wife couple, both times the husband did a great job on me, the first time, the wife was extremely rough with my mom and she had to continuously tell her too hard, the wife also kept talking and making unnecessary noises. I like my massage as silent as can possibly be. We were in a couples setting but this was a gift to my mom. The second time, my husband and I got a couples massage, again, the wife banged and made unnecessary noises but this time the wife actually put her two feet on my husband's back (without permission) and stood on him! My husband is 6'7 which I'm not sure if that made her feel that she needed to be extreme but we are appalled!! That is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate! Aside from the massage therapist being hard to understand.. I really enjoyed the massage. I sit at a desk all day..so by back and body is stiff and she worked out the kinks. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. When I called about asking why my wife could not get a massage while pregnant the man rudely interrupted me and said it was his personal policy. If he chooses not to want business that is fine but the way he handled it after was even worse. Because we bought this on Groupon now we can't get our money back. I called the man back and to my surprise I was blocked. I called from another number to ask how we go about getting our money back and he told me it's my own problem and to not call back. Moral of the story is he doesn't want business. So let's do him all a favor and not give him any. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I called and made an appointment for a couples massage 4 days prior to day. I called yesterday to confirm and the owner confirmed the appointment. When I arrived to the location I was shocked at the outside appearance/location. We circled the block a few times to try to find parking due to them not having any signs showing where customers park. The front parking was only three spots and one car was in two spaces. One we finally parked in a back lot, which lacked signs, we headed to the front of the building. My partner and I had on our masks per the Dallas mandate. My partner turned the knob to the entrance and noticed it was locked. So he proceeded to knock on the door. After a few moments a lady cracked the door and said "no appointment " . I then explained that I confirmed an appoint yesterday and provided my name. She then slammed the door and we could hear her speaking to someone. We were in shock that she just closed the door and didn't seem to be very welcoming. Also we were confused on why the door was locked during business hours and having a sign stating they accept walk ins. It was all very confusing. So finally an older gentleman comes to the door and cracks it as well and asks what we wanted, I proceeded to explain to him I had an appointment. He told me I was wrong and I didn't have an appointment there. I asked if maybe they had another location and I had them mixed up. He said "we don't have another location" then closed the door. It was said is an off outing manner and he didn't even try to obtain our business. I went to my car and verified that was indeed the number I called and the person I spoke to. I was so outraged that he refused my services even though I made an appointment and confirmed it . It baffles me on why he would lie and refuse my services. I hope it wasn't racially charged.
