He has strong hands, takes the time to listen to your needs, and is incredibly thorough, professional, and respectful throughout the entire session. The difference I felt afterward was remarkable. Since then, I've started making standing appointments because it's become something I genuinely look forward to. Not only does he help relieve pain and tension, but he creates an experience that leaves you feeling better physically and mentally. He's so good that I even convinced my father to get his very first massage. My dad has dealt with back pain and tight muscles for as long as I can remember, and after seeing Collin, he immediately understood why I kept recommending him. He's already looking forward to his next appointment. If you're dealing with pain, tight muscles, or simply want an exceptional massage experience, I can't recommend Collin "magic hands" enough!

I came in one morning for a massage and I had to go get cash to pay for the service. Don't recall…read morethe reason why they couldn't take card, but the business has just recently opened. The massage was good, I was not expecting to get a spa-like service since it's a foot massage place. The room was clean, had relaxing background music and she used sheets to keep me covered during the massage. Communication with the lady that did the massage was hard. She spoke very little English, she had to use a translator app on her phone. She was very sweet though, and told me she could tell I was getting a cold and gave me some advice to help with the cold. Overall, I would come back for a quick pick me up massage after a long stressful week at work. Their hours are also convenient since they are open from 9am-9:30pm.

However, when I was checking out, the total was $68, more than the listed price, but I knew they'd charge a surplus for the debit card. That's totally fair. What rubbed me the wrong way (get it?) was the fact that I was initially writing in a $15 tip, which for those of you keeping score at home, is more than 20%. The lady watched me write it and then said "no" and pointed to a post -it note hidden under a piece of mail on the counter with a tip amount for each hour of service and told me my tip for one hour needed to be $20 (or 1/3 of the service price) and refused to take my receipt until I changed it. I really want to like this place, but I won't be going back any time soon.

When I was younger, my jobs were extremely stressful and physical, causing plenty of injuries. I had major spine surgery last year. Since then, I've done six months of physical therapy without much improvement. A few weeks ago, I gave up on the PT when my wife referred me to Kathye Hopwood. She is very impressive! I need deep-tissue work. Kathye is not a big person, but have no fear, if you need deep tissue work, she will give you exactly that! I know Kathye does many other types of massage, but I haven't tried them. If I wanted to, I know where I'd go first! ;-) Her studio is perfect. She has decorated it beautifully with things that obviously mean something to her. It's quiet and she makes sure that you're comfortable before she starts. Today was my third or fourth visit and she even remembered that I needed extra blankets for cold, (and painfully crampy), feet! Yes, it's a small thing, but isn't that the point?? As I said above, I've had a LOT of massage! The first time I went to Kathye, I told her that it had been the absolute best massage I had ever experienced. Today?? DITTO!! I've only been there a few times and I already feel like I'm making progress! If you need some massage help, check her scheduling website. Kathye can take care of you!
