A Hidden Gem in South Garland!…read more Morning Dew Massage & Wellness shines with excellence! When you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and welcomed into a bright, inviting space that immediately puts you at ease. My massage therapist, Jose, was exceptional. After shoulder surgery and completing physical therapy, I still had lingering discomfort. Jose quickly identified the areas needing attention. I began with deep tissue massages twice a week, gradually moving to weekly sessions as my pain subsided. The pain is gone but I am continuing with monthly deep tissuemassages for overall wellbeing. Of note: I appreciated Jose taking time following each massage to pinpoint areas of treatment on an anatomical chart and answering all of my questions. In the welcoming area after the massage I was offered cold water or hot tea. My favorite was hibiscus tea with honey served in a dainty cup and saucer--a little zen time before stepping out into the 'real' world! Morning Dew is a stellar experience from start to finish. I'm so proud that South Garland hosts this little jewel. Highly recommend!

I am absolutely blown away. I've always seen these "foot massage" places in little strip centers and wanted to try one. I'm so glad someone recommended I come here. I was led to a small private room, which was funky lit and had two small plush beds in it, some Chinese decor and a single massive Sony speaker softly playing some traditional Chinese music. Cool. I was told to lay down on my back, and she covered me in a large fleece blanket. I thought this was just a foot rub, but she gave me a nice scalp massage, even my ears, and then both my arms and my hands. Wow. By now I'm so relaxed I nearly fell asleep. All this time my feet has been soaking in a tub of hot water at the bottom of the bed. She pulled my feet out and put them on a second table that was the same height as the bed. She worked each foot, and my legs and knees, carefully and methodically. I was shocked at her strength and force for being such a small woman. She repeated this on my other foot and leg, using some lotion as she went. Even each toe got a mini massage. Wow. I knew I was coming so had stopped elsewhere to get a pedicure done beforehand so my feet would be 100% presentable, lol. I can only imagine some of the feet they see... mine were super nice though. Haha. The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The whole time she was working, hard, and putting my entire body at ease as a result. I walked out with stars in my eyes. I'm shocked this experience is just $25. Not only will I now be a repeat customer, I'm going to schedule a much longer appointment soon. So awesome this is right here in Rockwall near the house!!!

As a trained massage therapist, I try to give small businesses the benefit of the doubt, but…read moreunfortunately, this was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had. First, I was not asked whether I preferred a male or female therapist, which is an essential part of ensuring client comfort. The male therapist used an excessive amount of oil to the point where his hands slid across my body without any meaningful pressure or muscle engagement. This made the session ineffective for actual relief or therapeutic benefit. Throughout the massage, the therapist repeatedly reached over my body in a way that caused his hips to press against me, which felt invasive and unprofessional. On several occasions, he climbed onto the table, which is not inherently unusual, but at one point, he placed his knee firmly between my thighs. This crossed a clear boundary. Additionally, while I was lying face down, he pulled my underwear down much farther than appropriate--halfway down my glutes--despite my immediate objection and correction. While partial draping of the glute area can be done in specific professional settings, it should always maintain client modesty and never expose private areas. Overall, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and unsafe. Based on both the lack of proper technique and the inappropriate boundary violations, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others. To top it off, I chose not to tip after my experience, and I wrote zero on my receipt; however, an extra $5 was added when it was taken out of my bank account. The audacity.
