Wow, this is not your traditional massage. I am not sure what I was expecting, but this is more about correcting body imbalances. As stated by another reviewer, there are times it can be painful, but it is necessary in order to correct years of bad posture, etc... I felt better immediately after the session. And I was noticeably standing with better posture. If you are suffering from joint pain Stef most likely can help! read more

My whole family has been going to Stefania for over 10 years. She is arguably one of the top orthopedic therapists in the whole country. She could charge 4X what she does for each appointment and she would still be booked up. If you are injured in some way, she is a miracle worker. read more

Stephania is the best I have ever worked with. She is a master of identifying the source of the problem and treating it immediately. After every appointment I feel so much better, sleep better and am able to continue pursue all kinds of activities, CrossFit, golf, hiking...with no problem. She is thorough, professional, effective and is sincerely interested in solving problems quickly. I initially saw her for a specific problem but now I see her once per month to stay in the best condition I can and I appreciate her more and more and time goes on. I highly recommend her. Her calendar stay very full so don't wait until you are desperate as it will take a few weeks to see her. read more

As a result of injuries sustained while serving in the Army, I have been suffering from severe musculoskeletal imbalances that have induced crippling chronic pain. My life has been at a complete stand-still for nearly two years due to pain. I've seen Stef twice now and I can truthfully say that I am beginning to find hope once again; hope in healing. She is simply the best at what she does and I am very grateful for her. I highly recommend her work for anybody dealing with chronic pain / imbalance. Thank you, Stef. read more

I have had a wonderful experience with Stef! She's helped me eliminate pain and regain mobility in my shoulder over the past year. Most recently she helped my son regain mobility and stability (and reduce pain) in his knee when physical therapy just didn't do the trick. I would highly recommend Stef to anyone. She's so gifted and wonderful person! read more

Stefania is a miracle worker, truly! In just two sessions so far she has given me measurable and lasting relief from persistent muscle pain, migraines and TMJ. I've been to dozens of chiropractors, doctors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, etc. and no one has been able to give me the kind of help that actually lasted more than a few days! I look forward to continuing my healing journey with her. I also love that while she gave me nutrition advice (which I am following because I trust her after the help she's given me!) she is not pushy in the least and does not try to sell you on any extras. She is passionate about helping people and has a wonderful light about her! read more

After several suggestions from friends to visit Stefania, I booked my first appointment over a week ago. She is a muscle whisperer! After my second appointment today, I am feeling like my young self again. The old, stiff me is a thing of the past after two visits. I know it sounds crazy, but it is as if I can feel my body changing after each session. I am kicking myself for waiting so long to commit to taking care of my body! Thank you Stefania for helping me move better and feel better! read more

Stef is just Awesome!! I've been going to her for several years, and I always feel so much better after seeing her!! She is a very caring person who does amazing work! I highly recommend her!! read more

I was given Stefania's name several time before I actually had to courage to go see her! I have had bad carpel tunnel/golfers elbow/ nerve issues for the last year. After seeing an orthopedic surgeon he suggested I get it messaged, work on and do my "own therapy" and ice it. I knew immediately I was going to call Stefania because I know she would be able to help me with my therapy. She is amazing and even thought I don't really know every word she says, I leave there feeling like something positive has happened to my body. She promises to stick this out with me so I DO NOT have to have surgery, I am so very thankful for her! read more

Stefania Lee has worked on myself and my son several times. We appreciate the time she takes to explain her work and how the body works together to heal itself. After only a couple of sessions my back has been doing much better. My son's tight muscles were worked thoroughly and she didn't have to spend as much times as she had planned. Thank you for your honestly and looking out for our best interest! We will continue to use Stefania Lea. Have not found someone that works on the muscles the way she can. read more

All I can say is that Stef fixed my father in 30 minutes. My father is 85 years old and has been suffering from some pain in the left knee for over 10 years. As Stef put her hands on that knee, it was as if she knew exactly what to do: I guess, for what I know, it is about having the blood flowing back evenly in your body, and you got to unlock that part which is hindering that from happen (but I won't go further than that with my technical explanation...:). However: it was not painless for my father...but one day later he could just say that the pain he used to have was almost all gone. As I saw him moving up and down the stairs two weeks later, I saw a new man, and as I asked him about the knee-problem he just said: "What problem?" and smiling "Stefania...". Thanks Stef :) read more

Stefania is a highly experienced, knowledgable and caring person. She truly cares about her work and you can tell that her main focus is getting her clients well and pain-free. As a professional athlete, I am always in pain and dealing with injuries. I have tried many therapists in the last, but Stefania is the only one to really keep me up and running with great maintenance work and incredibly fast rehabilitation from injury and pain. Do yourself a favor... If you're in pain, book an appointment asap. You can book by calling or online on her website. She's the best! read more

Wow, I just read the previous negative review and normally I don't write reviews, but I feel like I have to address this person's criticism. I've never had an issue making an appointment and she's willing to work with me to accommodate me. I've seen Stefania several times for her to work on my back pain and if anything she is very knowledgeable and friendly and sincerely wants to help you feel better. I'm not sure the person that wrote the negative review fully understands the kind of bodywork Stefania does. Also, I'm not sure exactly what happened that day, but the experiences I have had with Stephania have been friendly, professional and very helpful in regards to my pain management. She's very passionate about her work and when she says you may not be ready for the massage she is going to give you, it's because she's thinking of your best interest. She isn't someone that's just going to take your money. She truly wants you to get the most out of her sessions. I love that she cares that much about helping people. When she says it's not a massage, what she means is it's not a relaxing I'm going to temporarily make you feel better. I've gone to spas where I feel great afterwards, but hurt again the next day. After I went to see Stephania, I didn't hurt for weeks. Part of her technique is working on connective tissue that surrounds muscles and sometimes tissue is what is causing the pain. So the technique is working with these tissues to help the muscles they surround operate better and ultimately not cause you pain. In short that can hurt, but in the long term it feels better. The entire session isn't painful and she is very cautious and listens to when she needs to apply lighter pressure, but her goal is very different from other massage therapists. Her goal is to not see you on a regular basis and to work on your muscles where they don't hurt or you have a better range of motion. Because her goal is to give you a better quality of life, and it's for that reason that I choose her methods over all the spas in the DFW area. read more

Stef's bodywork is amazing! I move much better, have better flexibility, and sleep like a baby. It really feels good all over and the effects are much longer than a massage. She also has a compassionate spirit and a great bedside manner. I love Stef's bodywork and will go back for more! read more

Saying Stef if a miracle worker is not an overstatement. Her knowledge of the body and what makes a difference to pain management is something I have never experienced before. It is definitely effective bodywork! She was able to listen to what I said and then listen also to what my body had to say and then work on the area that was causing me pain. Within three visits, I am feeling better than I have in two years. A treasure indeed! read more

This has been a great experience! I have been dealing with leg, knee, hip and consequently back issues for many years. The chiropractors have provided relief for a day or two, but the pain is right back. Stefania has now worked on these areas. I feel so confident in her expertise. She worked hard, and I feel better because of it. Waiting for my next visit. read more

Stefania knows the human body, and how to speed it to healing. After one session, I am already starting to feel better!

I drive over an hour just to have Steph work out all my kinks & nots. I've been seeing her regularly for about 4 years & every time I get immediate relief. It's not your basic fluff & buff relaxing massage but her results are worth every moment. Once you grasp her concept & feel the increased range of motion the discomfort dissipates. I have recommended her to several friends & family all of whom rave about her unique approach! ! read more

I highly recommend Stephania for orthopedic massage. Her knowledge and understanding of the body is better than most. I am a chiropractor and not one at the office she works from and I refer my patients to Steph. You know your good when chiropractors will refer their patients to a therapist that offices in another chiropractors office. If your looking for a feel good massage she may not be the one for you, But if your looking for results from your massage I highly recommend her. read more

I was referred to Stefania by my fitness trainer who thought she could help with mobility in my hips (which I didn't realize was a problem). Stefania has definitely helped with that and my workouts and yoga poses have benefited (a lot of what I thought were knee issues were actually hip issues) but she was also able to give me back complete range of motion in my shoulder (which I thought was lost after breast cancer treatment and wasn't even aware could be fixed) and worked absolute wonders on my lymphedema (which also developed after breast cancer treatment). We are taught as lymphedema sufferers to avoid deep tissue massage but with Stefania's background in both lymphatic massage and bodywork she has been able to safely work the scar tissue without damaging those delicate lymph vessels. I have noticed a huge improvement in just one session! I'd never even heard of bodywork massage before and although I so wish I had found Stefania sooner - I am so grateful to have found her now! I could not recommend her highly enough! read more

Stefania is awesome. She focuses on the area that's causing trouble and works with you to improve. Her technique is unique, and it works. I've been to her for knee, back and shoulder pain. My husband has been to her for shoulder problems. My daughter has been for heart and lung issues. And she is the kindest, most considerate person ever. We are all Stefania fans here. I highly recommend her for any muscle or joint issues. She is awesome. read more

Our company exclusively uses Stefania for our orthopedic Massages. Three of our employees have a rigorous job (they climb trees almost every day) and they go to Stefania to get the kinks and knots out of their back. Her massages are somewhat painful, but if it gets too painful, you can ask her to stop. I have personally used her several times and always look forward to how good I feel after she is through! Those who use her must understand that she focuses on getting rid of your pain permanently, so that you can stop paying for "feel good" massages that don't work over the long run. I highly recommend! read more

Stefania is amazing. My teenage daughter had severe pain in her feet. We tried everything doctors recommended, but no relief. After 3 visits she was almost pain free. Two more visits and she was totally free from pain. Thanks, Stef. I don't know what we would do without you! Fran F. read more

Stefania saved me from getting an MRI and gave me immediate relief. Recently I injured my knee and spent two months hoping it would get better with little improvement. I had jumped off a boat onto a concrete dock and the best way to describe what happened was that I jammed my leg--my knee didn't flex and it took the full impact of the jump. An X-ray revealed that there was no break or crack, but after two months, I still could not walk without a limp or straighten my leg completely. I was considering an MRI but thought it might make sense to give some therapeutic massage a try. I had heard that Stefania had a lot of good experience and had helped many people. I have to admit that it was not a "feel good" massage, but she worked the muscles that seemed to have griped and frozen around the knee. Even after one visit, there was a remarkable difference. Stefania had loosened those tightened muscles and I could straighten my leg and walk more normally than I had been able to since I "jammed" my leg. Two days later, I followed up with another visit and Stefania continued to work out the tightness in the muscles which just made it all that much easier for me to get back to my normal stride. I would highly recommend Stef's Therapeutic Bodyworks. read more

Best massage of my life. Stefania is amazing and truly gifted. No one has ever been able to help me with my muscle pain like she has. I've been in chronic pain for several years due to a neck injury and fusion surgery. My muscles are constantly stiff and hurting. Stefania gets down to the causes of my pain like no one has ever done before. I had pretty much given up on massage therapy but not anymore. I have tried everything for my pain and I am so happy to have come across her! Not only that but she has given me dietary advice which has helped me more than when I went to the doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend her!!!! I cannot express enough how amazing her work truly is!! read more

Stef has been helping me with chronic neck/back pain from an old injury. I have seen many physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and even tried Airrosti without feeling any benefits. After 2 sessions, I feel looser and more relaxed than I have in years. She doesn't just work on the areas that hurt, she works on the areas that connect with those areas. She is extremely knowledgeable about human anatomy. I highly recommend her! read more

Need minor or major repairs on your body? Stefania is the expert, she can definitely get things taken care of so you can function again!

I have only been going to Stefana for a few weeks and I am feeling much better. She is so sweet and cares so much about helping me feel better. She makes me feel like her #1 priority. I have been fighting cancer for the last 6 years so I have been through 12 surgeries, lots of chemo and over 80 rounds of radiation treatments. Which means I have a lot of pain and lymphadema. Stefana has drastically reduced my pain and swelling, I feel so wonderful! read more

This lady is a waste of time. I scheduled a first-time appointment with Stefania 2 weeks out for an orthopedic 60 min session massage. I called to confirm my appt and they acted like they did not have me on the schedule but said to come anyway. I filled out the paperwork, undressed and was ready for my orthopedic massage. Once on the table, Stefania, asked me if I had read the brochure and understood what she does. I didn't read it word for word but did see the words "massage", "sports massage" and "Swedish massage" throughout the brochure. I've had those before. She repeatedly told me this "was not a massage". Not sure why she kept saying that... So then she started pressing on the soft tissue on my leg. it was painful but I hoped it would help with my aching back. As soon as I said "ouch" as it did hurt, she stopped and said I was not ready for this and that I needed to "go home and read the brochure and then come back some other time". are you freaking kidding me?! she said "I'm tired anyway". really lady? my time is just as valuable as yours and I was not going to come back another time. I rushed after work and dinner to drive over here. then she said "and you just ate dinner". so what!! she has a major ego and pretty much just didn't want to be bothered. then once I got redressed, I went to leave and she rushed towards me at the door and yelled at me because I didn't want to come back. she waved the brochure at me again!! and said "You don't even know what I do, touching you was like touching a porchipin". what the hell does that mean?? I shaved my legs! ha!! sorry lady, but you are a glorified masseuse whether you want to face the truth or not. get over yourself. I would never go here again nor recommend any of my friends. Maybe this is normal behavior in Italy, but it's not the way you treat clients here in America. I've never had someone be so rude. very unprofessional! Good luck crazy! read more
