This store not only offers parking for its customers behind the store, but when I entered the store, I was greeted with kindness and respect. I have witnessed loyal patrons greeted with the most cordial salutation; Hey brother, how are you! It is good to know that there are stores that value the relationship with their customers. These guys know what it takes to gain customer retention. I gave myself a tour and I see that they have everything that a larger store would have, hot drinks, cold drinks of all sorts, chips, all types of cheese, eggs, snacks and treats, hot sandwiches, salads. breakfast, and an ATM. Just ask for what you need, the staff is willing and able to help you locate whatever you are in search of. I purchased a gallon of milk, and I find the prices to be competitive and this store is a good alternative place to shop.

I have eaten breakfast here but they serve more than breakfast. They have sandwiches, salads and other lunch items- and you may be able to pull something together for dinner. While shopping today, I could not help but notice product alignment.It's always about the merchandiser. The merchandiser made product awareness and availability evident. The product was beautifully placed and faced. Employees do possess great customer service skills and problem solving skills. I had a good day here, they had the right product and the right price to make an exceptional shopping experience. I only saw one item not fronted but that's just me. I asked the guy to trim it first before weighing and he said he couldn't trim anymore off because he had already trimmed it and the meat is naturally fatty bla bla bla... but after it was weighed he said "OK I'm gonna trim it up for you"... Basic courtesy, professionalism, and customer service seem to be completely absent. The staff consistently came across as unfriendly, dismissive, rude, and unwelcoming, with attitudes that made the entire experience uncomfortable. I guess this is to be expected from a Jamaican establishment. There are two men who work there one with locs and another shorter gentleman as well and a woman who never smiles and face looks unpleasant and mean. Every interaction I've had with them has been unpleasant. They come across as unapproachable, and as if they don't want customers there. It's incredibly off-putting. The only exception was one young woman who seemed polite. If you're lucky enough to be helped by her, your experience may be different. Unfortunately, everyone else I encountered projected such negative energy that it made me question whether I even wanted them preparing my food. A welcoming atmosphere matters, especially at a place serving food and drinks. When employees treat customers with hostility, it doesn't inspire confidence or make people want to return. The last two times I ordered a smoothie, it was so thick and overly sweet that I couldn't even drink it. Both ended up in the trash, which was a complete waste of money. I also ordered a patty that didn't taste fresh and upset my stomach afterward. I can't say for certain why, but it certainly did not taste freshly prepared. Based on both the customer service and the quality of the food, I would not recommend this business. On a recent trip, after finishing my shopping, I walked near the self-checkout area and a young…read moreman, screaming "cash" or "card" aggressively herded me into that area and directed me to one of the machines. After attempting to scan several items in accordance with the instructions being broadcast from the machine, the machine appeared to malfunction and was not registering all of the items and then broadcast an alert to wait for assistance. In fact, several of the machines simultaneously starting announcing the same message. The same young man, after attending to another customer, came over to me and accused me of deliberately not scanning items and then started cursing in English and Spanish. At the time, I cautioned him about his profanity but I still feel I need to bring to the store's attention the inappropriateness of the attendant's behavior. His false accusations were extremely offensive and coupled with the frustration of using machines that are possibly defective gives me pause about continuing to shop at a store where I have been shopping for over 50 years--when as a teenager in the 1970s, the same building was a Pathmark supermarket. Needless to say, if I continue to shop at this store, I will absolutely steer clear of the self-checkout machines. But more importantly, customers and older shoppers should not be abused and insulted by someone with little to no experience and clearly no aptitude for customer service.
