LOL. Geez! Get out more! Explore your state. There's lots of native indigenous wild foods to eat. But that's another review for another time. Now here's where Yelp steps in combining cultures. My dude Vinny (Yeah that Vinny!) tells me that the Turkish also use this spice quite often. Wait! What!? The Turks have Sumac waaaaaay over there?! Who knew?! Not me! Sooooooo I run out my supply which I collect in the summer when it's dry out or I buy it at Fairway market which sells it for like $5.00 for 2 oz. I don't feel like driving that far & remember this Halal spot I pass every other week or so. BOOM! They not only have it. They have a freaking half a pound of it for $3.50! And guess what! It tastes better than fairway's jar & easier than harvesting it myself! Done! And Done! Yup! I scored big! I'll be back. 1-17-2017

We were shopping for one item we found frozen in the case and the woman at the counter started asking if we would be making them today. When we said yes, she had some of the employees pack us a fresh package of meat. She didn't have to do that but she went above and beyond. Everything was clean and it wasn't too busy so that helped end an amazing experience. Tip: their mea on a stick is top tier and if you leave with nothing else, get a package of them!

She helped me organize them when I got to the store and was so patient, kind, and helpful (she also helped me carry them to my car!). I loved the nautical touch with the dune grass, rope, and adorable starfish (the creative Annette touch!). Annette is so crafty, while listening to the customer, understanding the theme, and executing it beautifully. She did everything in such a timely manner, as well. I continue to be impressed with this business and will ALWAYS highly recommend to all. We need more gift wrapping services like this on Long Island. If you are nervous about the virus like me, I felt very safe in this store. All CDC guidelines are being followed (masks, gloves, contactless payments, temperature checks, hand sanitizing, social distancing). I had them make it on an Italian sesame hero roll I got from their bread display. Well,,,They forgot the cheese and soaked the beautiful Italian hero bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Now, when I tell a deli person I want oil and vinegar, I have never gotten balsamic. You might agree with me it is supposed to be red wine vinegar instead. The balsamic ruined it for me. So, they did shave the meats but no provolone at all. I had to deconstruct the sandwich as to not waste a 21 dollar sandwich. Overall the store has many display cases with one case that looked like a storage place for dirty utensils, not a good look. They do have a wide variety or beverages to choose from. I will return to Fratelli's for another try to see if I can get what I ask for.

The pizza & sushi are just ok, nothing special. Everything is expensive including the $14 Guacamole. The croissants taste like brioche bread, usually stale. Costco has better fresh sourdough bread.
