I was in the area and saw the sign Emil's home made candies and my care just veered off the road and parked itself, LOL Car knew it was definitely time for a sugar fix. Emile's is a smaller size store , But they make all there own candies. I got some apricots pineapple marzipan and fudge, Obviously all were covered only in dark chocolate which is my favorite. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and nice and very helpful. The selection they had was good as well. The candy was excellent maybe not the best I have ever had but really good. Only negative was I thought the pricing was a bit high at $25 a pound.

Incredible homemade chocolate and candy treats and gifts. I received a box of chocolates from here prepared with all chocolate covered nuts, just and only what I love- Perfect chocolates, a perfect gift. And their chocolate is so creamy smooth and yummy. I mentioned one of my favorite things certain cranky times of month are red wine and chocolate - especially chocolates with nuts. And what a thoughtful treat from here - a mix of all chocolate covered nuts: almonds, cashews, peanuts, macadamia and Brazil nuts. No need to break in half or take tiny bite to see if you like what's inside the mysterious chocolate, since they custom make the box to your liking. For me all chocolates with nuts. Mmm. Also light and dark options - and even the dark chocolate was not bitter.

Very good chocolate but too expensive for me! $44 for a pound of marzipan. The workers were very helpful and courteous.

I grew up on this candy, and still look forward to Easter because of the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs.

The minute I walked in and met the owner Melanie I 1000% knew I made the right choice. With baby due in March we were looking at a February date and I choose the 13th - I never planned a " drive by shower" in the mist of a pandemic and in a winter that turned out so cold & SNOWY !! From day one Melanie promised no worries it will be fine - I shared my " vision" and over multiple texts & meetings we tweaked and came up with a great plan ! God bless this woman.... With each snow storm I called texted and emailed her in a panic .... she kept me calm and assured me all would be ok ! And wow was she right !!!! The day was pure magic ! My daughter never stopped smiling and the guest were blown away!!!! I also MUST mention the two staff members Ali & Craig who were so professional and just sweet as can be ! Everything about the day was perfect! Melanie I am now a client for life THANK YOU for everything!! Look forward to sharing many more memories with you

There's also seasonal looking ones like street corn and chocolate chipotle. The options here are plenty! The quality of the ice cream is rich and well balanced. It's close to the quality and flavor of the infamous Salt & Straw in the city. While creamy, the flavors were bold and the texture of each serving we tried were smooth and rich. The chocolate mocha coffee toffee was my favorite on this trip, followed by the oatmeal cookie with its chunks of soft cookie and delightful hints of cinnamon. The Cookie Monster tasted like a frozen cookie and milk treat, though out of the 4 flavors we had it was the most subtle. Still a tasty treat nonetheless. The German chocolate cake was rich in chocolate and the bites of walnut and coconut were perfectly sized. I would definitely add some brownie toppings to it next time for some fun cake texture. All in all, this is a great place to stop by for some ice cream. The staff is super nice and the place looks well kept. A real good find indeed!

There's a seafood market where you can pick up fresh seafood, or you can sit down and enjoy a good meal with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Food-wise, we started with a small order of baked clams, an order of calamari, the Maine lobster roll with fries, and the Connecticut-style lobster roll with onion rings. The clams were okay, but the calamari was definitely the better of the two appetizers. The breading on the squid was well seasoned and had great flavor. Which lobster roll was better? I preferred the Maine style, but if you're a fan of the warm, butter-poached Connecticut version, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Both rolls were packed with lobster meat and were more than filling. The fries were on point, and another bonus was that the onion rings were handmade. My one negative was the smell inside the restaurant. The weather wasn't great, so we had to sit indoors. I understand it's a seafood restaurant and there's bound to be some seafood smell, but I think they could improve the air circulation because it wasn't just a typical seafood smell. Would I come back though? Probably. The food was good.

We were off to a good start. The wait staff was attentive and regularly checked on us to see if we needed anything. The manager came out a few times to check on us, and the owner even stopped by to check on us and chat for a while. We were a party of 7 so I do not recall what everyone ordered, but I know everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I ordered the mussels in wine sauce and shared it with the others and everyone thought it was very good. There was also raw oysters from the North Shore that I thought were very good, but I am not a connoisseur of fine oysters like my cousin and mother. They both told me how great they thought the oysters were. I also had the grilled whole porgy and thought it was very nicely done with some blackening seasoning. All in all, was a great night with family I don't get to see often, and the staff and owner of Artie's deserve all the credit for for making it a great night. They all seemed happy to have us there, even though we stayed until past closing. I would definitely go there again when I am down on Long Island. Thank you to the owner and all the staff for making it a wonderful night out for my mother's birthday!
