Messy ice cream. Would you buy? - The image shows a chocolate ice cream container with its lid partially peeled back, revealing melted ice cream inside. There are visible chocolate smears on the lid and the container's edge, indicating the ice cream has been accessed and is melting. The container is placed on a surface with other similar products in the background, suggesting a retail or storage setting.

Small, easy to navigate. I generally like this store though some neighbors prefer a location 20 minutes away. I need to try that store soon. While I will return to this location because it's very convenient and budget friendly I'm reviewing now because I wish to see improvements. Strawberries on sale-had to look through many to find container without spoilage. Ugh. The frozen pizza section though I didn't need any looked like there was a small explosion there. Who is responsible for straightening up the shelves. Finally, again didn't need it but saw the ice cream. Messy. See picture. It's the middle of the day and it's not busy. The store should be neat and at least look like the staff cares. I am disappointed.

A digital graphic displays a gold crown illustration centered on a yellow background. The crown has a cartoon style with rounded points and shiny highlights. Above the crown, white text reads "You're the Duke of Lidl." Below, additional text congratulates the viewer on earning the title of Duke and encourages checking in to defend the crown.

We enjoy Lidl. Getting groceries is one of our few activities during the nation's adjusting to the corona virus. There weren't a lot of customers in the store. The produce area had a lot of fresh items. The only disappointment was finding moldy grapes when I got home. I looked over the bag but didn't fully open it. I normally don't open bags in the store. The frozen section had lots of choices. We are trying to make more things from scratch, but there was a nice selection of flat breads and pizzas. The store was clean. There were signs posted around the store directing customers to stand six feet apart. Sadly, this is our "new normal."

A transparent plastic bag containing green seedless table grapes, labeled 'frusan,' with a red and green design at the top. The bag indicates the grapes are a product of Chile and is placed on a black surface, with some background objects partially visible.

If you're shopping on a budget and let's face it, there's many people who are today. You should definitely give Lidl a try! There are many name brand items sold here and even their brand is made of quality. Very reasonably priced! Today I shopped for fresh chicken tenders to go with my stir fry I'm making for dinner tonight. Great value and I love the choices in cuts of meats and salmon fillets/steaks. If you have small kids, they even have the shopping cart for children to interact while you're shopping. No fees for the shopping carts and they provide paper bags with handles. Be sure to bring your own disposable shopping bags if you're on a bigger shopping trip. All in all, this store is always clean and well stocked. Try them out!

People at the rear of the store standing in line to get to the register. - Inside Lidl in Lanham, MD, multiple customers are standing in line at checkout counters. The store has a high ceiling with exposed white beams and bright lighting. Shelves stocked with various products are visible on the sides, and red promotional signs hang from the ceiling. The customers are wearing casual clothing, some with face masks, and are waiting to pay for their items.

They replaced the crab legs but did not have any better tails to replace the lobster. I asked for my money back and was told it would not be returned. The sticker on the bag showed I brought it today on top of the fact that it is obvious that the tails are bad. I have given this store the benefit of the doubt for two years since I've lived in this area. There is obviously no direction in FIFO from the produce, to the seafood, and the meat, I have been pointing out spoiled items in every area of the store. To be run by people of color selling damaged goods to people of color is a disgrace. Fuck the money it's the principal and moral which there are obviously none. If I were you I would find a Harris Teeters of Whole Foods or something. This place is just bad!

Unlike the big box stores, they can't stock umpteen varieties of the same thing. But then again, you can shop the entire store and not feel like you've run a marathon and if you forgot something it's half a mile away. Reminds me of the grocery stores of my youth, in the 1950s. Convenient parking. Never too crowded, although I'd be happy if they had more out of town patronage to assure they stay financially healthy.

It's an all-in-one mini mart grocery, hot bar, sophisticated cheese department, pharmacy, gift and cards section, with elevated wine from local award-winning foreign and domestic wineries. On select afternoons I want to say Thursday and Friday you can sample beer and wine from note-worthy vendors that come from all over. They have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian food to offer as well. Last Thanksgiving, I was desperately looking to locate fresh thyme, it appeared the other grocery stores ran out. Greenbelt Co-Op to my surprise had abundant bundles of fresh herbs. I want to tell the staff and owners thank you for creating such a great place for locals to come pick up groceries at all times, where the staff is friendly, and the lines are short! You guys are worthy of some attention and praise. #ThankYouThursday

It was 7:30 am but she didn't greet me with "good morning". What I got from her was "That's not a doughnut, that's a cinnamon roll" as she snatched it off the counter and tossed it in a cart behind the register. Then she asked me if I still wanted it. I've seen bad attitudes before so I tried to leave before it could get any worse but my transaction wasn't complete, so she tried to start an argument over what she said. It was 7:30 in the morning. I had no intention of starting my day fighting with some random woman's demons but I would like to make this situation public so no one else has to go through the same thing.
