Everyplace I walked, there was a blend of past and present. PlayStation 4 & 5 games, alongside rows of nostalgia that ranged in clothes, toys, accessories, movies, you name it. This store embodies 90s pop culture, and not the hip hop side, but more the alternative (which is what I felt more represented me). I found a dvd I've been looking for months, in just a matter of minutes. The movies are all alphabetized, yo! It's like a thrift store, but so much more. I really liked that the Folsom location had a way bigger selection of Funko Pops than the Arden location. There is so much stuff to look through in general at this location, since it's roomier. I specifically scoured the shelves for some Funko Pops to take home, and came across the cutest Jurassic World one (shown below) that I just needed to buy. I also discovered a beautiful Elvis Funko, but that one I decided to hold off on for now. My husband bought a Mewtwo Funko as well (not shown). Most of the Funkos were in really good condition. There was a Stranger Things Funko that I really wanted but alas the previous owner had damaged the box. From a collector's standpoint, the prices are fair. Of course this location had other collectibles and items for sale, such as clothes, records, and whatnot. I've got plenty of records at home and only want to purchase very specific records these days, so I didn't really bother to look in their record aisles. The staff were friendly and chill. I will definitely return to check for more Funko Pops in the near future!

Today is the 2nd time I have been here & the employees who helped me are very professional, helpful, and courteous. If you were selling anything here they are meticulous however they do pay more than other places. Example: I sold some fighting PS2 games here and was paid about $5 each game where as places like The Cave would have paid $1. This place is a gamer's paradise plus holy Grail for the hard to find game(s) *see picture of a PS2 game in my review. I definitely would recommend all gamers or just anybody shopping or selling to try this place first before going anywhere else especially places like GameStop.

There's plenty of parking, though they do share their parking lot with food chains like Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Lobster. The interior is very spacious and clean! The floor is absolutely gorgeous and the air duct work being painted like Mario's green pipes is hilarious. They have the biggest selection of used games and consoles, carrying all the classics and newest. It almost reminds me a little of sneaker resellers the way they have things shrink wrapped and behind glass cases. Additionally they sell Pokémon cards, plushies and amiibos! Staff was super friendly, and very helpful even willing to look for an item at one of their other locations. We both picked up some sweet new additions to our collection and will for sure be back!

Earlier this week, while playing my beloved Super Mario All Stars, I noticed the B button on the controller stopped making Mario jump. I can't jump with just the A button! So I decided to pop "retro games" into Google Maps and this is what came up. I was so excited to find this store is less than 10 mins away from where I live, AND they sell games and equipment for SNES. They even have a tech on site who can make repairs on original consoles. AWESOME!!! I was able to get an original SNES controller for about $25 which-- yes-- is more than you'd pay from other outlets, but cmon-- just the convenience of having this in the neighborhood without having to place an order and wait for shipping is well worth the little extra markup. I also wanted to say, coming in here for the first time was a little overwhelming-- but I got excellent help from the gentleman at the register who helped me find exactly what I needed and answered the questions I had. I will definitely feel less overwhelmed the next time I go in. Can't wait to go back sometime and check out their SNES games more closely. PS-- I later discovered that my original controller isn't broken at all, I had just somehow enabled a setting in All Stars that makes the B button run instead of jump. Oh well, now I have an extra controller!

Liam and Kate were so helpful and went above and beyond at my visit yesterday. They gave me a time frame of when I would be called via the intercom. The selection of books, CDs, DVDs, video games, and other exciting things were all presented with visual aesthetics. The rest of the staff assisted me with where the restroom was at and another person helped me out with where to go by directing me to the way to get there. Liam again helped me out with my books I placed on to the push carts. Kate was there to help me out at the cash register after I found a few books I have been looking for at other book stores and online. I would like to highly suggest any book readers or book worms, any other physical media, or nostalgic items to come to this store and support a great collection of not only books, but a very professional team and staff at this particular store location.
