I collected the cards, watched the tv series, tried to catch them all (iykyk). It's such a powerful creation that spanned pretty much my whole life. I no longer have that level of attachment to the brand, but it amuses me at times. This time, I was looking for booster packs for my brother. Yes, adult millenials are obsessed with the resurgence of pokemon cards to the point where they're sold out pretty much everywhere. So this shop carried boosters and boxes of the newer ones. but one of the boxes cost $130 which is pretty much over double what Costco sells it for. I did not purchase this one bc the price is plain ridiculous. But I got a few boosters for him and one of them ended up being a full illustration Pigeot! Good stuff. Just wish it weren't priced so high.

I read the reviews prior and twice people complain that they drove all the way out there and the shop was closed when it was supposed to be open. Today is a Thursday. It says they're open at 12 PM on Thursdays it's 1 PM and I show up and there's nobody there. Unfortunately this is a pattern for this store that they choose not to be open or update their hours a brief look through the window showed limited stock. Not sure I would recommend this place. Update.. received a call and completely must change my review. Totally understand the circumstances and will give them another shot. I appreciate the conversation and personal touch.

The second time we dealt with his wife (Corey was not there) and she was friendly which was just fine. Now the third time we went we were looking for some destined rivals packs and/or booster boxes. We had picked out one booster bundle for me and one for my boyfriend and then realized he was selling a whole box set which we asked if we could get just the box set instead (this is all before purchase). He must of either jumped to conclusion or didn't understand what we were asking. He loudly scolded us for buying too much (which is insane as a business owner) and started to humiliate us with demeaning comments. He was saying that he had people he needed to sell to and would not let us buy anything else. Mind you the store is almost a 4x4 shoe box so everyone could hear a pin drop. I'm not sure why you have product on the shelf and were showing it to us if you didn't want us buying anything. Safe to say I went from an excited newbie mtg and Pokemon fan to being very uncomfortable in most shops I go to now. I do not know if Corey owns this shop purely to hang out with the only regulars he deems worthy or because he likes public humiliation towards customers but there is no way with the amount of attitude and disrespect he holds towards all customers that this business will last long.
