Lego People! - A glass display case showcases numerous LEGO minifigures organized in rows, with shelves containing various themed figures at Five Star Bricks in Orangevale, CA.

If you need that hard to find Legos or any Legos this is the place to go. It is a hidden gem here in Orangevale. The owner is the nicest guy and will help you find the part you need in the bottom of the many barrels of loose legos they have. They have sets upon sets upon sets. The best part is the figurines. They have the every day Lego People and the hard to find Lego People. Did I mention they will buy your old legos? Yes. Bring that giant bin of Lego's you have in your kids closet and stop by. If you want to be blown away with a Lego collection. Stop by Five Star Bricks!

We'll eventually Someone did come and let us in. I would say this place isn't exactly top notch but it's a used Lego store. I've smelled interesting things on the clientele as well. Prices aren't cheap but they have overhead and staff. I know it's not a Lego trading station with friends. My kids still like to come here and we do maybe once every six months. I'm updating from a 1 star to a 3 star as they have been ok and I appreciate small businesses even if they don't do everything quite how I would, I wish them all the best.

We came in today to pick out some presents for my oldest sons birthday and the staff treated us with the most incredible customer service. Brian and Natalie went above and beyond to make our experience so incredibly special. My son is a Lego starwars collector and Brian helped him find some rare pieces and old sets. Brian even showed us how to efficiently dust off sets without having to take the pieces apart! We love five star bricks and can't wait to come back!

Great party! Quick, fun and to the point! Well organized, perfect for a small, well behaved group of kids. The instructor worked well with the kids, spoke very loud and got the attention she needed.

My Lego obsessed kid wants to come here every week. It's like Disneyland for him. The best thing about this store is the chairs for us parents (or whomever) to sit in while your kid spends hours building custom mini figures

My son loves coming here. Lego are one of his favorite toys and this shop is perfect. Even though the lego are mostly used they are clean and in perfect condition.

Right side of the expanded store! Lots of sets I've never even heard of reasonably priced. The small green window looks into the party room

Ask the Community - Five Star Bricks

HI! does this store carry the classic legos? not the mini ones but the bigger ones.

We carry the standard size lego. Duplo is the large Lego for toddlers. We will sometimes have it in stock but I would call first if that is what you are looking for. Thank you!

If you value your time and money, think twice before coming here to sell. In the past I've sold at…read morethe Folsom location, where I've had good experiences, but decided to try the Elk Grove location today and had a terrible experience. I called ahead to make sure they were actively buying and to gauge interest before taking the time to load everything up and make the drive over. The employee assured me I would not have any issues and to just come on by. Upon arrival the first employee was friendly, polite, and helpful. I explained that I was there to sell and had also brought in several LEGO collectors items that I planned to include as part of the deal at no extra cost, as a show of good faith. I had brought in roughly a dozen sets worth several hundred dollars to sell so it took around 20 minutes to perform the appraisal, but once done he gave me a price and explained the evaluation of each set. Whenever I sell at a store I expect to sell for much less than I do when I sell direct to consumer myself, but I'm willing to make that trade-off for the convenience of dealing in person and in bulk; however, the prices I was offered here ranged from low to outright laughable (up to 60% less than historical sales values online). While the prices were bad I was still willing to make a sale in order to save myself time. I asked for additional details about their evaluations, which the employee happily provided, and told them I wanted to take a few minutes to review the offer and perform due diligence before deciding how I wanted to proceed. It was at this point that things went from bad to worse. As I was reviewing the numbers, another employee came out from the back and immediately started making comments (ostensibly to his coworker, but very much audible to me) about how the first employee had offered too much on set X, that set Y wouldn't sell for very much, that they had too many of set Z, etc. After a minute or two of that, the first employee went on break. The second employee then proceeded to start asking me questions that made me feel pressured, like if I was ready or what I was looking up. I started to feel uncomfortable and asked if I was holding him up or anything, as he seemed annoyed, but he reassured me that they were open for several more hours and that I could take my time. I went back to looking up information online and a moment later the second employee said that he was rescinding the offer and that they were no longer interested in buying anything. This totally took me by surprise, as at this point I had not even made a single comment about their offer or attempted to negotiate -- I had just been asking questions and looking up information. It was abundantly clear to me that the employee was attempting to pressure me into accepting a bad deal, so I knew I should cut my losses and leave. Out of curiosity I asked why they had changed their mind. The employee said that they had a warehouse full of such sets and that they didn't need more. If that was the case, they could have told me so on the phone when I initially called to find out as much. He then made one more offer (for $100 less than the already bad initial offer), which I declined and left. The whole experience felt like a bait-and-switch -- get you in the store, then pressure you into accepting a lowball offer. I'd recommend the Folsom location or perhaps the new Bricks and Minifigs instead if you're looking to sell.

The second time we dealt with his wife (Corey was not there) and she was friendly which was just fine. Now the third time we went we were looking for some destined rivals packs and/or booster boxes. We had picked out one booster bundle for me and one for my boyfriend and then realized he was selling a whole box set which we asked if we could get just the box set instead (this is all before purchase). He must of either jumped to conclusion or didn't understand what we were asking. He loudly scolded us for buying too much (which is insane as a business owner) and started to humiliate us with demeaning comments. He was saying that he had people he needed to sell to and would not let us buy anything else. Mind you the store is almost a 4x4 shoe box so everyone could hear a pin drop. I'm not sure why you have product on the shelf and were showing it to us if you didn't want us buying anything. Safe to say I went from an excited newbie mtg and Pokemon fan to being very uncomfortable in most shops I go to now. I do not know if Corey owns this shop purely to hang out with the only regulars he deems worthy or because he likes public humiliation towards customers but there is no way with the amount of attitude and disrespect he holds towards all customers that this business will last long. Save your hard earned money and look at reviews before checking a shop out.
