The inside is filled with different toys, but still well organized. There were squishes, slime, coloring books, coloring markers, stuffed animals, stickers, DIY kits, Calico Critters, sensory toys and even mystery boxes. We spent a good amount of time mulling over the squishy section before my daughter finally made a selection. Overall, the service was very friendly when we got up to the counter (she was very patient helping another young customer in front of us as well) to pay and the price of the squishy was the going rate. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're visiting old Folsom! Check them out!

Everyplace I walked, there was a blend of past and present. PlayStation 4 & 5 games, alongside rows of nostalgia that ranged in clothes, toys, accessories, movies, you name it. This store embodies 90s pop culture, and not the hip hop side, but more the alternative (which is what I felt more represented me). I found a dvd I've been looking for months, in just a matter of minutes. The movies are all alphabetized, yo! It's like a thrift store, but so much more. I really liked that the Folsom location had a way bigger selection of Funko Pops than the Arden location. There is so much stuff to look through in general at this location, since it's roomier. I specifically scoured the shelves for some Funko Pops to take home, and came across the cutest Jurassic World one (shown below) that I just needed to buy. I also discovered a beautiful Elvis Funko, but that one I decided to hold off on for now. My husband bought a Mewtwo Funko as well (not shown). Most of the Funkos were in really good condition. There was a Stranger Things Funko that I really wanted but alas the previous owner had damaged the box. From a collector's standpoint, the prices are fair. Of course this location had other collectibles and items for sale, such as clothes, records, and whatnot. I've got plenty of records at home and only want to purchase very specific records these days, so I didn't really bother to look in their record aisles. The staff were friendly and chill. I will definitely return to check for more Funko Pops in the near future!

The employees greeted us when we arrived but also allowed us space to walk around and look at the various book selections. You can definitely find more than books here! They have journals, pens, bookmarks, jewelry, and toys! Very impressed with their children's collection (so many great Titles/Authors/Subjects/Genres) for little ones. I ended up buying a few packs of Japanese Pokemon cards because they had a few different kinds at a good price. They seemed relieved when they asked if I was ok with Japanese cards and I said "Oh yeah, I mostly just like the cool art on the cards". I think they probably see a lot of resellers or people trying to score high value cards. I do love a good holo, but as someone who grew up with Pokemon I more like just looking at the cards and seeing some of my favorites. It seemed like a really fun and chill spot and the staff was really friendly. I'd definitely stop in again while in the area.

It felt like they actually know what readers are excited about because they had so many of the newer, popular books in stock instead of just one copy tucked away on a shelf. The staff was incredibly kind, and the best part of the whole visit was spotting a signed copy of Caraval in the window for my stepdaughter's birthday. Again and again and again. After ten minutes of waiting, I had the hubster wait in the tech area and I went off in search of an employee for assistance. That took some effort as well. Eventually I found one, near the front of the store. She apologized and got on her radio to have someone help us. We waited another five minutes. All the while continuing to press the "We Need Help" button. A second round of search for an employee, this time send a manager to tech please. Finally a tech-looking guy showed up and helped the hubster and a supposed "team leader" showed up and said, "All good?" then started to walk away. To which I stopped her and relayed everything. She seemed not to care but said, "Sorry you encountered this." I explained how unacceptable all of this was again zero empathy. DO BETTER EDH TARGET!

I buy my favorite On The Rocks drinks there and all flavors are always stocked and at better prices than the Grocery stores. Woohoo!
