So, you can almost miss it from the outside. Definitely make a stop for a unique flavor of fresh popcorn or a scoop or two of ice cream. The staff are friendly and prompt and the decor is always interesting!

The ice cream here is cheap, (aside every item slowly getting more expensive due to inflation and demand), and they have plenty of interesting flavors. I can't say I've been to many popcorn places, so my gage of its comparative price has no bearing. If you like popcorn, it'll probably take more than $15 to satisfy you, unless they randomly have bulk bags in stock. The portions are pretty small, fulfillment wise, but not overpriced. You can expect good flavor, but more of a quality over quantity. The ice cream, on the other hand, is amazing. One scoop for a dollar and seventy five cents (which is their mini) and the small is two scoops for 3.50. You'll probably be satisfied, since I've never had to order more than two scoops. They also have seasonal flavors, which are always amazing and give me a reason to come back again and again. It's also connected to Leonardo's Coffee house, and the Nutcracker store, so you can pick up coffee with your popcorn, or a panini with your ice cream, etc. I hope you enjoy this spot

The Twister is set up as two sided--the right being a soft ice cream and other such goodies in a Dairy Queen -type style. I was already quite aware of how tasty their soft ice cream products are from last summer. You owe yourself a stop on that side of the place. EXCELLENT shakes and ice cream, both hard and soft-serve, in some awesome flavors. That said, I decided to try the restaurant side. So clean and bright inside, butterfly themed and happy-looking! I asked for coffee, and it wasn't until it arrived and I reached for the little half and half cups in a little bowl on the table, that I realized that it WASN'T half and half. It was, in reality, Coffee Mate. Well, I find Coffee Mate to be something of an acquired taste, and sadly, not one I'd EVER acquired. Now, some will insist that white stuff in coffee is white stuff in coffee, and thus, interchangeable. I disagree. Coffee Mate has sweetness to it, and in my world, coffee and sweet don't mix. In any event, I determined that Twister doesn't have half and half, so my server brought me plain milk. Milk doesn't give coffee that rich, creamy experience, but I figured I could survive. I ordered two eggs scrambled eggs, incredibly crisp bacon, home fries and wheat toast, which arrived very quickly and delightfully hot. One thing I discovered is really small, thin, cheap napkins you have to pluck from a dispenser on the table. Hard to get a good mouth-wipe on those, but again, I survived. My eggs were fine, average. The bacon wasn't really crisp, more chewy, so I ate 1/3 of 2 of the slices. The potatoes were a disappointment. Sliced potatoes, but the bigger, thicker pieces were only half-cooked and still hard. Also, very plain, no seasoning or anything to upgrade them. So, breakfast. Nothing special that would have me rushing back to do it again, but on the bright side, my Beagle, Hunter, found the leftover eggs and bacon to be very much to his liking! The other bright side is, a painfully average breakfast won't keep me from coming back to the ice cream side!
