Wonderful local pub. Great food. Varied menu I recommend the French Onion Soup. Plenty of beer and cocktail choices. Decked out for the holidays. Cutest little train rolls around a track above the bar. Wait staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Upon a suggestion of another business owner I stopped over here to grab lunch. They have a huge parking lot in the back and you need to enter the front through a fenced alley. This place is huge! Not only do they have a full bar but they also have a banquet room for entertaining. I was seated immediately at a booth and my very friendly and helpful waitress guided me through the menu. Still on the mend from my tooth extraction I had to adjust my ordering. Sandwiches normally come with a side of fries but for a slight upcharge you can order the soup of the day in its place. I decided to go with the vegetarian wrap and the cook told me she would heat the vegetables up so that I wouldn't have difficulty eating it. I also went with their French onion soup which comes in a bowl. The soup was good and the crackers crisp. The vegetarian wrap was delicious and soft for me to chew on. Upon inquiry I did learn that they offer both gluten free and vegan options. Let them know if you have any special needs. It was nice to find a nice reasonably priced restaurant and bar in the heart of the small town of Steubenville. Located at the corner of 5th St and Washington St. they have plenty of parking in the back.

Had lunch there, nothing special. At lunch time, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Service was fast and friendly.

The Harp & Habit is right across the driveway from the Best Western so it was very convenient on a cold and snowy night to stop in. Good beer and liquor selection. We sampled the appetizers like the wings and cheesesteak egg rolls as it was late and they were very good. The college student servers worked hard and took good care of us. IN the winter bring your ice skates to take advantage of the connected outdoor rink or watch others from inside this warm and friendly tavern.

One day I had burger with the sidewinder fries, which were an interesting way to cut the fries. On another day, I had the fish and chips (same style of fries). But to me the French onion soup was the highlight. Everything tasted great, but that soup was a stand out. The beer selection was decent as well. The service was really bad one night and just OK on the other night. I'm assuming they source a lot of employees through the local college so maybe there was a chance I was unlucky with getting someone new, but that indicates a management problem. since I had different servers on different days and neither was adequate, that would be the only reason I would think twice about returning. But the food was very good.

It said 58 minutes and I thought that was a typo. About 20 minutes later I talk to the young lady at the to go area and she apologized and said she would expedite my order. 10 minutes later I had my chicken tenders in hand. My son enjoyed his meal. Everything (even the sauce) was as ordered. There's a lot of restaurants in the area but this Primantis is worth a look. I'd return.

Primanti Bros -- The Sandwich That Built Pittsburgh…read more PRIMANTI BROS! If there's one place that defines Pittsburgh food culture, this is it. A true Steel City staple and an absolute must anytime we come visit family in the 'Burgh. This isn't just a meal--it's a full-on Pittsburgh experience. Their menu is huge, but for me there's only one proper way to do it: the Original Pittsburger. Seasoned beef, stacked high, and served Primanti style--which means your sandwich isn't complete without coleslaw and French fries right in there. It's their #2 best seller, and honestly, the only reason it isn't #1 is probably because Pittsburghers love to argue about everything anyway. We hit the Primanti's in Weirton this visit, but my first ever Primanti's moment was at the original Strip District location in downtown Pittsburgh. A true Yinzplosion. For a foodie like me, it was basically a rite of passage--like getting wrapped in a warm, messy, delicious blanket of Pittsburgh history. Every time I take a bite, it hits me right in the heart. This is the taste of Pittsburgh sports, Pittsburgh bridges, and Pittsburgh pride all stacked in one sandwich. Service is always friendly, fast, and feels like home. Thank you, Primanti Bros, for being the legend you are. Let's go Black and Yellow!
