Stopped in for Saturday lunch with my bf. The restaurant was decently busy, but we were able to seat ourselves. We took a stroll through the various dining rooms decorated with local historical photos and antique style decor before settling in a small room that honestly looked like a wider hallway. Our waitress was over quickly to take our drink and appetizer order. We shared the stuffed banana peppers and a side salad with the famous house made dressing. The sausage inside the peppers was so juicy and flavorful. I only wish they had some cheese too! The salad was nothing exceptional, but the dressing did have a nice tart and refreshing vinegar base. For my main, I went with the poor boy heel which I was surprised to see was almost an entire loaf of Italian bread stuffed with meat sauce, a meatball, and provolone cheese. The serving was bigger than my head! The meatball was delicious, as was the meat sauce. The bread seemed the same as the table bread we were served, soft and fresh. My bf had the gnocchi with meat sauce and enjoyed it, as well. I think our total bill was under $40 before tip. Definitely a reasonable price for lunch with leftovers.

Came into town for the last weekend of Nutcracker village, as a must see as a collector before leaving Ohio for back to Texas. We were hungry so as we stopped at our last nutracker we decided to stop here to eat. I'll say the service staff was older and a little cut throat to get their own tables, so they seemed a little moody to be there like it was a race to serve a table (which I get in the serving industry) but still helpful. I will say for a small business and me being picky the spaghetti was SO GOOD. A little runny but the taste was amazing. And came with fresh soft French bread

    Small and casual.

Skip lunch and head here for dinner. Fresh bread and the house dressing salad will start you off on an authentic Italian experience at this local gem. Make a reservation. They are always packed and close early 8pm. I had the pasta platter with tomato sauce and a meat ball. Smooth and delicious the sauce was as tasty as the pasta. Gnocchi, cheese ravioli and rigatoni. Heaven on earth. The meatball was so tender it melted in I'm your mouth. There are plenty of choices from eggplant to Alfredo and all equally delicious. Dean Martin used to come here for dinner You won't see him but everyone else in town will be here. It's casual and cozy. Choose your pasta, then your sauce. Huge menu and friendly staff. Service is good.

Mostly ok experience. Feels like you are eating at your Grandparents house. Generous with the bread. Service is pretty good but not worthy of 4 stars. The salad really brings this place down the lettuce was almost completely white and supper basic no effort on that part. I love a good gnocchi. But these have absolutely no flavor. Extremely bland. The sauce was ok and for a place named pasta house I was disappointed. The meat sauce was alittle burnt and mushroom sauce was just marinara with a can of mushrooms. This place may have been really good once. At this point, it's tethering on two stars.

If I could, I think I would only give this place 3 1/2 stars. It was ok, but I don't care if I ever come back. The food was decent. The Veal Parm was acceptable, but nothing to rave about. The lasagna was pretty good from the bite I had. Side salad, eh...it was what it was. The bread was very good, though. Dessert was a chocolate cannoli that we split. It was good... Service was friendly & pretty fast. No complaints there. The ambiance was late 1970's & fairly close to your other diners. As a result, it was rather loud in the dining rooms. Overall, I'd say for the location & the price, this place is not bad. Not a high-end restaurant, but the food is alright. Better than fast food for sure.

Very nice meal with a quick service inside an old house where you wander through room master room. When we entered, we were told to find a seat. The waitress Carol was very friendly, attentive, Angel Hair Pastaand helpful for what is the VERY best! my husband had a chicken Parmesan sandwich & a chocolate chip cannoli. I ordered the pasta. You get choices on: 1-the size 1/2, regular, or large, 2- the noodle, & 3-the sauces! (The only reason for 4 stars is the pasta is not homemade.) I ordered angel hair with mushroom sauce, in the regular size. (I SHOULD HAVE ORDERED 1/2 size!) I asked for garlic bread which they made for us and then also brought us regular bread and butter to the table, it also comes with a side salad I forgot to picture. ABSOLUTELY everything was delicious!! And in the end we had enough to take home for dinner tonight.

Dean Martin's old hangout is very popular! My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch while we were visiting the Nutcracker Village. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Some rooms were set off as small but cozy. We finally decided to sit in the main dining room where it was warmer in temperature. They offer lunch specials and you are served Italian bread in a clear bag in order to preserve freshness. They have two veal parmesans on the menu. We learned that the lesser priced one was a veal patty while the chef's cut one was a veal cutlet. The lunch menu had veal parmesan as a special but having learned it was a patty we opted for the chef's cut. Note-you can order spaghetti as a side which although it is not listed as a side you can have. Our salad that came with the meal was mostly iceberg lettuce with a couple of grape tomatoes, a couple of olives, one sliced cucumber and a spicy pepper. The bread was good. It took a while to get our meals due to the place being fairly full but eventually it came. I was amazed at the portion sizes. I'm glad we went with the veal cutlet since it was very good as was the spaghetti. We got mushroom sauce to go with it and needless to say we were pretty full when we were done. I was surprised for a place that accommodated a lot of visitors there was only one stall bathroom for the ladies room. Upon exiting I realized that this was a reconverted house so that would make sense to me. As we were leaving I noticed that there was a line in the entryway for those who had ordered takeout. We were indeed pleased with our visit and definitely will return next time we find ourselves in the area. They have their own parking lot and it is a short walk to see the Steubenville murals as well as the Nutcrackers scattered about the small town.

We came to Steubenville for the Nutcracker Village and Fort Steuben. We spent the afternoon walking all over the downtown streets looking at over 200 nutcrackers and even spent some time talking with Ed, a volunteer, at Fort Steuben. We stumbled across Naples Spaghetti House (practically the only local restaurant open on a Sunday) and decided to grab some dinner. After taking a picture of their Nutcracker we went inside. We were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere we felt comfortable (excluding the reserved tables). It was just before 5pm and the restaurant was about half full. There are approximately 100 seats in several different dining rooms. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly. We ordered the chicken parmesan (came with a choice of pasta and a choice of sauce) and the chicken pasta supreme (chicken sautéed in olive oil with garlic, hot peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes, served over angel hair pasta). Both dinners came with a side salad (looked exactly like their website photo) and homeade dressing. The dressings were very good and the food portions were large and delicious. A very family friendly place. We saw a server at a different table (I'm not sure if it's because of the time of year or if it is something they do year round) allow the children to grab items from the "treasure basket". I thought this was such a wonderful touch. We would definitely eat here again.

Disappointing veal parm, cheap canned green beans, and a skimpy salad with one black olive and one grape tomato.

Do they have a private room or section of the restaurant where 15 can be seated together?

I believe they do because a party of 12 came in before us for a birthday party but I would call them. The party brought in a cake. The restaurant had lots of little and large rooms

Primanti Bros -- The Sandwich That Built Pittsburgh…read more PRIMANTI BROS! If there's one place that defines Pittsburgh food culture, this is it. A true Steel City staple and an absolute must anytime we come visit family in the 'Burgh. This isn't just a meal--it's a full-on Pittsburgh experience. Their menu is huge, but for me there's only one proper way to do it: the Original Pittsburger. Seasoned beef, stacked high, and served Primanti style--which means your sandwich isn't complete without coleslaw and French fries right in there. It's their #2 best seller, and honestly, the only reason it isn't #1 is probably because Pittsburghers love to argue about everything anyway. We hit the Primanti's in Weirton this visit, but my first ever Primanti's moment was at the original Strip District location in downtown Pittsburgh. A true Yinzplosion. For a foodie like me, it was basically a rite of passage--like getting wrapped in a warm, messy, delicious blanket of Pittsburgh history. Every time I take a bite, it hits me right in the heart. This is the taste of Pittsburgh sports, Pittsburgh bridges, and Pittsburgh pride all stacked in one sandwich. Service is always friendly, fast, and feels like home. Thank you, Primanti Bros, for being the legend you are. Let's go Black and Yellow!
