On our way to Lowe's, we decided to grab breakfast and try somewhere new, and I'm so glad we picked Murray's Restaurant! What a great find. The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee hit the spot. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, exactly what you want when you stop for breakfast on a whim. The service was excellent too. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back. This place is adorable and they have great food too! The service was outstanding. The restaurant was extremely busy but we were seated right away. The food was delicious and the prices were great. We have driven by this spot several times but never stopped in, just assumed another family diner. I'm glad we chose to change our minds. It is so warm and cozy. The menu has a wide variety and includes breakfast almost all day. They always have specials on the chalkboard and homemade desserts. Down home, rib sticking, not-fancy, home cooking. Seriously, hand's down, the best place in town and maybe within a 50 mile radius. Great variety, served fast, hot and delicious. on a recent visit to the 'ville', I had creamed chicken and biscuits. Past visits included roast turkey and gravy over bread and french toast piled high with fruit and whipped cream! Divine. Now, if you want old school, quality cooking like Mom used to make and you've had enough of square pizza, go big and go hungry to Murray's ! You will come home happy! read more

First time I've been here as Murray's. They've done a really cute job decorating, it's got a nice fresh facelift from the days it was Spanky's. We ordered the triple Reuben and the Patty Melt. Returned after a year thinking the food and service would be better, NOT!!! Had to wait a long time to get a refill on drinks, ordered our meal and ordered soup thinking the soup would come out first, NOT!! It came after our meal and received 3 different plates that could have been on 1. The waitress was terrible, as she got our orders mixed up and never came back around to see if we were okay but waited on tables nearby. Another couple came in sometime after we did and were waited on got there dinner in a timely manner along with the check and here we are waiting on refills!
