Short Rib Fritz. DELICIOUS! Wow. Short ribs were tender, hollandaise sauce was great. Fries were perfect.

This place was IT when they had the afternoon tea. Easily the best afternoon tea I have EVER had and for whatever terrible reason, they took it away after Covid. Views are beautiful, and that must be what you're paying for because the food and drinks are okay. I got a black balm sangria and for some reason there were more bubbles in it than I think should ever be in a sangria. Especially at a winery. I was really excited about the flavors that were in that drink, but I could hardly taste any of it through the burning bubbles in my nose. I would not recommend that drink. The other drink I got was the same. It was $30 and it tasted like Woodford reserve with a spritz of orange. It apparently was supposed to have espresso liqueur, which I could not taste at all. So the drinks are a hard pass for me. Sliders were okay, and certainly over priced. The Short Rib Frites are literally the only thing worth mentioning. Those were AMAZING. Finally, something worth the price point. The meat was so tender, and the hollandaise sauce that was served on the side, was amazing. Which, they don't even talk about the hollandaise sauce on the menu, so we weren't going to get it until our server mentioned it. But wow. That was a great dish. I don't even like fries but those were wonderful. Would have been 1 star for overpriced nonsense, but dang, those Short Rib Frites were it!

Before I rattle on with the wonderful libations and that heavenly gateau I would like to mention our server Rudy for the fine recommendations. He was part sommelier, part patisserie expert in helping us choose the drinks and dessert that complement and matches our tastes! Amazing service experience! The drinks were so delicious that I savored and swirled every sip! Every bite of the gateau was a luxurious decadent mouthful! The atmosphere- it's the Biltmore. The views outside and the interior are just world class! A's all around! I will come back!

Fantastic espresso martini ! Highly recommend

We are staying at the village hotel and had to check out the liberty lounge. When you arrive you can seat yourself. There are really pretty Mountain View's from the windows. The pictures on Yelp fooled me because I thought there was a more extensive menu. There are just appetizers currently being served. The ambiance is really nice and the windows and decor are very elegant. We ordered the cheese plate ($26 yikes!) and while everything tasted amazing it was a very small portion - see my picture. It looked the the dips were a bigger portion, so if I went back I would order one of those. When you go here, you are paying for the environment.

Floor to ceiling windows framed in handsome mahogany provide expansive views of the Blue Ridge mountains in The Library. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine, local beer or cocktail after a day exploring Biltmore and its beautiful trails! Our waitress, an Asheville local, was very friendly, helpful and full of information. In addition to a gracious cocktail menu, The Library only serves appetizers and nibbles. Don't expect a burger or pub menu. Our Warm Marinated Olives, $18, were delicious! A melody of olives with garlic and roasted tomato are served over Three Graces Goat cheese with crisp Lavash chips! Delish!

The Library Lounge at Biltmore Inn was sufficiently adequate. It truly has a stunning decor with soft plushy couches and chairs with a roaring fireplace but as it's been said beauty doesn't count when it's only skin deep. The lounge lacked much substance including being inaccurately named. It isn't much of a library and more of a sitting room. There's a few books here and there but nowhere near enough to be called a library. The price point for the drinks are obscenely high especially for the area. You're paying for the view and being on the Biltmore Estate grounds. You're not paying for anything really unique. My friends and I only had drinks so I can't talk about the food, but the drinks here were not worth the price. My one friend described his drink as vile and I ordered a Moscow mule that was basic and still cost over $20. The service was ok. Our server was extremely busy and I understand that, but considering how much the location charges I couldn't help but think they could afford to have more people on the floor in this location. It wasn't very impressive. I would be more giving and forgiving for most locations but if a location is going to insist on being high end then I need to leave stunned. I did not here.

We stayed at the Village Hotel for a long weekend in February. Biltmore has complimentary shuttle service between the two resorts, so we took a bus to get coffee, tea, spa services, and lunch at the Inn. It was a lovely morning! I spent some time in the Library area until I was asked to leave. Evidently this is free access for guests such as myself until a certain time in the morning when they begin service from the same area. I was disappointed I could not continue reading/drinking tea where I started without paying for service later in the morning.

Wonderful and relaxing. I decided to enjoy the sunset over the mountains in the Biltmore Inn Library. The restaurant is closed at this time due to Covid-19. But, you can choose a table inside or outside and enjoy appetizers over drinks.

One of my top two afternoon tea experiences this year! (The other was the Halekulani in Honolulu, so amazing company.) After a long day waiting in sweaty lines in the Biltmore, I headed over for afternoon tea in the middle of July (as one does). I sure am glad I went- it was a fantastic tea. Everything from the view to the music was perfect. The savories were complex and attractive little items obviously created by a chef. There was a rose on the table. They have a box of loose-leaf teas to examine before choosing. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was there was NO SCONE! Which ended up being fine, but was surprising for a scone-lover like me. There was a small scone-like biscuit that was good, but totally not a real scone. Anyway, great service. I was there by myself, and they didn't make me feel weird about that, and left me mostly to my book and tea in peace, although there was always someone paying attention when I needed something. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Asheville, and 100% would return. Reservations required- I called about a week before.

Crab, artichoke & spinach dip. Check out that yummy bread.

We opted for a seat on the veranda instead of inside for our late lunch. The view of the mountains is amazing, you can also see the winery and the construction for the new shopping complex that will be opening in April. The chairs are brown wicker rockers and the tables are well spaced for privacy. The atmoshere is very relaxing. Our server Kim was very nice. We decided to share the crab, artichoke and spinach dip appetizer. It was served with thick wedges of crunchy french bread. It was very delicious. We decided to share a turkey club sandwich which was very good. It was served on french bread with thick bacon, tomato and avocado. We selected a salad for our side. Our server was thoughtful enough to split it onto two plates, since she knew we were sharing. Very nice.

    Ahhhh....the view.

By far one of my favorite spots in Asheville. My husband and I always make a point to stop in at the Library Lounge at the Inn on Biltmore Estate to enjoy a cheese plate and champagne on their wonderful stone terrace. The view from your rocking chair is incredible p overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains. We are connoisseurs of cheese plates, and this is one of our favorites. Humboldt Fog goat cheese. Mmmmm... They also include a nice blue cheese, and a couple of other hard cheeses. Each cheese has complementary pairing, such as honey or whole grain mustard, and the plate is loaded with various crackers, toasted baguettes, and marcona almonds. With a chilled glass of bubbly, this makes for the perfect way to celebrate the weekend. The staff at the Library Lounge is always so friendly, and they encourage you to sit and relax and enjoy the view long after your cheese plate is empty. You owe it to yourself to check out the Library lounge.

Well I must agree that the room and views are beautiful. I posted a couple of photos of how nice the room is on this site. The food menu for dinner is limited - which is fine as it keeps one from being overwhelmed. But alas, why three stars you ask! Our burger and turkey club sandwich took over an hour to get delivered. Ok. It could have been busy but it was like no one would come around to tell us "what's going on." Not good. :( To their credit the waitress was apologetic when she finally did come back to tell us that "there was a mix up in the orders." Hmmmmm - took you 45 minutes of ignoring us to let us know. She also did tell us that management was offering us desserts at no charge. We didn't need the calories but accepted Creme Brûlée and a Cheesecake dish with homemade ice cream. They were 5 stars to be sure. Overall I am hoping that it was just a problem with the cooks in the kitchen. The menu does state that your dinners will take 25 minutes - not sure why for a burger and a turkey club. But an hour while avoiding us was sooooo disappointing. May your experience be wonderful!

Absolutely amazing experience! I was greeted by host Melissa and served by Josh. The atmosphere was amazing with distant views, peaceful music, and delicious food. I started off with a local IPA and the artisan cheese plate. Next I had the crispy brussel sprout salad cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were perfectly glazed with Thai vinaigrette, mint and cilantro and a delicate crisp on the outside. I finished with the Prime Burger accompanied with bacon and all the accoutrements. What an amazing experience and I will be back.

We had a great time. Our burrata app was super fresh tasting, soft and mild. The candied pecans, lettuce and tomatoes gave it just enough punch of flavor. We could've just kept ordering that, it was so good. But, our strawberry salad with grilled chicken was fresh, bright and tasty addition to our afternoon of relaxed eating. We finished of our time with a strawberry coconut cake. The sponge cake was moist and mild. The layers of cream in between the cake layers were soft and creamy. The frosting with coconut on top was also mild; alittle more taste than whipped cream, but not too sugary. You could see the coconut on top, but it didn't overpower the dish. Overall, a great place to hang out and get comfort food. We are definitely going back for more.

I was in communication with Lindsay for over four months while exploring options for hosting my wedding dinner in their private dining space. Out of more than 10 venues and vendors we considered, she was the only one who consistently showed up with prompt, thoughtful, and genuinely kind communication. Every question I had--no matter how detailed or repetitive--was answered with patience and care. She made herself available through all my moments of uncertainty, which, as any out-of-state bride can attest, is invaluable. When we finally visited in person, Lindsay went above and beyond by accommodating us outside of regular scheduling. Her attentiveness and warmth never wavered. Planning a wedding from afar can feel overwhelming, but having someone like her in your corner brings a level of reassurance that cannot be overstated. Dinner itself was nothing short of exceptional. We were served by Tennille, who elevated the entire experience. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. Every dish was presented with intention, and she took the time to walk us through ingredients , local farm sourced education and preparation in a way that made the meal feel curated and special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience--it shows in every interaction. After dinner, we visited their second location to explore their private dining options. There, we met Pierre, who matched the same level of service and hospitality. He went out of his way to not only show us the space, but also recommend local after-dinner spots that could enhance the overall experience for our bridal party. That level of thoughtfulness and big-picture thinking is rare. Bottom line: this team understands that they're not just serving food--they're creating experiences. Our waiter recommended a wine that we were pleased with, and even offered a tasting. The wine list is deep for a room this size, and the cocktail list looks the same.
