This is my favorite place to get my nails done!! Harry does AMAZING work, I got a beautiful color gel french mani that lasted almost 5 weeks before getting one little chip! Perfectly shaped, just great! And I had the most amazing pedicure i've ever had by Jackie a few weeks back, I treated myself to the 20 minute massage one and I literally almost fell asleep! Beyond infuriating. I'm not from the area but I do frequent it enough. When my favorite girl left the nail salon I went to for years, I decided to broaden my search between my hometown and Huntington (as my boyfriend lives here) So, sometimes when I'm here I'll get a mani/pedi. I've tried several places over the course of several months and upon searching one day, I stumbled across Libra Nails. The reason for my 1 star review? Nothing like getting a pedicure and getting your only pair of sneakers (that i brought from home) stolen. I was forced to leave the salon in throw away flip flops. PS for reference the shoes stolen were my KIDS sized 3.5, Airforce 1's. And somehow these knock off Golden Goose size 8ish shoe is left behind. (See picture) How in the world do those sizes get mixed up? Fuck if I know. How does someone feel comfortable stealing my used sneakers? Fuck if I know. There was a child sitting next to his mother as he played video games on his cellphone and they're all assuming the child accidentally grabbed them.. how does "mom" not notice what her kid took? That's if he even took it or maybe his klepto ass did... Nail salon didn't really try to comfort me. Or do anything to make up for the incident. They offered to take my number down, and I got a "sorry" as I walked out. Nail tech/owner told me that's her customer for years and she's not worried as she promised I would get my shoes back. I followed up to see if my shoes were returned, as the child supposedly attends an after school learning center in the same lot as the salon. Nail tech tells me that she doesn't know her customers name. Therefore she can't inform the learning center of the incident that occurred 3 days ago. Not for nothing, but if someone you've known for years, you at a minimum should know each other by a first name basis. This visit cost me more than I honestly expected. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

I had such a positive experience with Harry. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it does not appear that they do more intricate styles and designs. I went here for the first time today directly after leaving a nightmare of a situation at another salon in the area. They fit me in within 15 mins of my call. The salon is clean and the staff are professional and not super talkative. This doesn't both me personally because I usually listen to a podcast during my appointment. My acrylic nails looks absolutely beautiful. The acrylic is smooth and even. It was applied correctly and the overall shape includes an apex which makes them look more natural. Harry really took his time to address all the issues that were present from the other salon. He was also very meticulous when it came to shaping my nails and applying the gel color. I have never had acrylics that feel so light and look as natural as they do now. I will absolutely be returning every 2-3 weeks for a fill in with Harry! read more

The best nail salon in the whole wide world. I come here at least once a month & I've yet to leave disappointed. They have super reasonable prices, incredible service & the most relaxing atmosphere. Every employee is unbelievably friendly, you'll feel right at home! They're so careful with my nails, typically getting a fill takes about 45 mins to an hour max at any other place I've been to but here, they spend almost 2 hours on my hands making sure they're flawless. The best part would be the complimentary hand + back massages they give you. If you come on days that they're not incredibly busy, they'll give you 2 five minute back massages(once while you're getting your nails done & once when they're dying). I've never even heard of salons doing that until I started coming here. I'll never everrrr go to another salon as long as this ones open ^^ read more

I was a regular customer at libra and honestly did question the sanitary conditions of the tools that were being used. Today after going to get a fresh powder manicure and pedicure, once all the color was removed from my nails I could see that I have fungus!! Being that this is the only salon that I have used for the last year I could only attribute this to their unsanitary practices. The place closes at 6:30. Normally some nail places rush you out when it's close to closing, but when I was getting my pedicure I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt bad because the place was supposed to be closed but he took his time as if they weren't closing and it was so nice. He took his time and was very nice. I showed him what nails I wanted and he helped me pick out every single color - not many nail places I know do that. My nails are so smooth which again, some nail places they come out super bumpy. Went here for the first time on my lunch break from work to get a regular manicure- $10 - after not having my nails done for some time. I was sat down immediately after picking my color and was offered a massage by another employee shortly after being seated. Lin took her time paying special attention to my sensitive cuticles and cleaning up my nails to perfection before painting them. Good movie was streaming on the big screen behind her as well. I've been here twice and both times they've had me wait for over a half hour for a basic mani pedi. The first time I came here there were two people working on a woman because she needed to get to work on time, and wanted a gel manicure. I also told the lady I had to get to work on time also, which didn't get me the same treatment. The second time I came here they said it was a 10 minute wait which was acceptable, until a lady came in 2 hours early for her appointment because she had nothing else to do before then. At which point they took her before me. I'm sorry, but I have been waiting for over a half hour and she made her appointment 2 hours after the fact that I came in. Poor time management. I came in asking for silk wraps, it took me five minutes to try to explain my simple request because only one person spoke broken English. The guy that was doing my nails was huffing and puffing as he was sloppely wrapping my nails which I had to go somewhere else to later fix and straighten out. When I asked for a design on a nail he rolled his eyes! Not only was this unpleasant but also the rest of the crew standing over us watching the process the whole time.
