Got a last minute appointment to get a gel fill. Wendy was excellent she was so sweet and took extra care to cut my cuticles and strengthen the sides of my manicure where she could see previous breakage. The service was very efficient and prices were comparable to the area. Will definitely be back. read more

Libra Nails Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Huntington, New York

The new owners have been operating Libra nails for about 3 weeks now. Although I miss the old staff, I was very happy with the new team and their services. Wendi and David took great care of me and I had a wonderful mani pedi. I highly recommend you give this place a try, I think you will be happy with it. read more

I'm back for another manicure. My polish keeps lifting after 2 or 3 days. Is it the weather? "No, it's your nail" I love Salina and she gives a great shoulder massage and mani pedi! I highly recommend read more

This is my favorite place to get my nails done!! Harry does AMAZING work, I got a beautiful color gel french mani that lasted almost 5 weeks before getting one little chip! Perfectly shaped, just great! And I had the most amazing pedicure i've ever had by Jackie a few weeks back, I treated myself to the 20 minute massage one and I literally almost fell asleep! This is such a great place to come relax and they have reasonable prices as well. I've found my new nail place! read more

Libra Nails Spa - Color Gel French Mani done by Harry :) - Nail Salons Near Me - Huntington, New York

Love this salon. I've been coming here for years. They do great manicures and pedicures at a reasonable price.

Every time I go to them for acrylics their prices are higher, and don't make the mistake of asking for a design, it's at least a $20 add on. They are good but way too expensive. Unfortunately they take advantage because all the teens go to get acrylics. read more

Beyond infuriating. I'm not from the area but I do frequent it enough. When my favorite girl left the nail salon I went to for years, I decided to broaden my search between my hometown and Huntington (as my boyfriend lives here) So, sometimes when I'm here I'll get a mani/pedi. I've tried several places over the course of several months and upon searching one day, I stumbled across Libra Nails. The reason for my 1 star review? Nothing like getting a pedicure and getting your only pair of sneakers (that i brought from home) stolen. I was forced to leave the salon in throw away flip flops. PS for reference the shoes stolen were my KIDS sized 3.5, Airforce 1's. And somehow these knock off Golden Goose size 8ish shoe is left behind. (See picture) How in the world do those sizes get mixed up? Fuck if I know. How does someone feel comfortable stealing my used sneakers? Fuck if I know. There was a child sitting next to his mother as he played video games on his cellphone and they're all assuming the child accidentally grabbed them.. how does "mom" not notice what her kid took? That's if he even took it or maybe his klepto ass did... Nail salon didn't really try to comfort me. Or do anything to make up for the incident. They offered to take my number down, and I got a "sorry" as I walked out. Nail tech/owner told me that's her customer for years and she's not worried as she promised I would get my shoes back. I followed up to see if my shoes were returned, as the child supposedly attends an after school learning center in the same lot as the salon. Nail tech tells me that she doesn't know her customers name. Therefore she can't inform the learning center of the incident that occurred 3 days ago. Not for nothing, but if someone you've known for years, you at a minimum should know each other by a first name basis. This visit cost me more than I honestly expected. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

Libra Nails Spa - The knock off golden goose left behind as my AF1 sized 3.5 kids shoes are stolen. - Nail Salons Near Me - Huntington, New York

I had such a positive experience with Harry. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it does not appear that they do more intricate styles and designs. I went here for the first time today directly after leaving a nightmare of a situation at another salon in the area. They fit me in within 15 mins of my call. The salon is clean and the staff are professional and not super talkative. This doesn't both me personally because I usually listen to a podcast during my appointment. My acrylic nails looks absolutely beautiful. The acrylic is smooth and even. It was applied correctly and the overall shape includes an apex which makes them look more natural. Harry really took his time to address all the issues that were present from the other salon. He was also very meticulous when it came to shaping my nails and applying the gel color. I have never had acrylics that feel so light and look as natural as they do now. I will absolutely be returning every 2-3 weeks for a fill in with Harry! read more

Libra Nails Spa - UV Gel Set in 45 minutes! - Nail Salons Near Me - Huntington, New York

The best nail salon in the whole wide world. I come here at least once a month & I've yet to leave disappointed. They have super reasonable prices, incredible service & the most relaxing atmosphere. Every employee is unbelievably friendly, you'll feel right at home! They're so careful with my nails, typically getting a fill takes about 45 mins to an hour max at any other place I've been to but here, they spend almost 2 hours on my hands making sure they're flawless. The best part would be the complimentary hand + back massages they give you. If you come on days that they're not incredibly busy, they'll give you 2 five minute back massages(once while you're getting your nails done & once when they're dying). I've never even heard of salons doing that until I started coming here. I'll never everrrr go to another salon as long as this ones open ^^ read more

While they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute for a regular manicure I didn't feel that the salon was clean and well maintained. My manicure was good but I will not be returning. read more

They left me waiting for an hour as they finished the people around me that came in after even though I made an appointment. As soon as I made it clear that I've been waiting for a while they completely rushed my pedicure. I sat there for an hour and my pedicure was done in about 9 minutes I would of stayed home and saved 25$ and an hour and a half of my time. Left without a question even getting my nails done read more

I just have to tell y'all once again how wonderful this nail salon is. They are always so kind and welcoming. I can't say I've ever been disappointed with a job they did. All staff here is great, buuut my favorites are Mary, Lucy, Harry, and the owners Selena & Jackie of course. It's best to call ahead if you don't want to wait, sometimes they get a lot of walk-ins. So go 'treat yoself' to some Libra! read more

I was a regular customer at libra and honestly did question the sanitary conditions of the tools that were being used. Today after going to get a fresh powder manicure and pedicure, once all the color was removed from my nails I could see that I have fungus!! Being that this is the only salon that I have used for the last year I could only attribute this to their unsanitary practices. I am very happy to say the least and will be finding a new salon after I see my doctor. read more

I don't normally write yelp reviews, but this place was way too good for me to not give it 5 stars and a good review. This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be coming again. The place closes at 6:30. Normally some nail places rush you out when it's close to closing, but when I was getting my pedicure I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt bad because the place was supposed to be closed but he took his time as if they weren't closing and it was so nice. He took his time and was very nice. He didn't skip any steps and made me feel so relaxed. My legs are the smoothest they've ever been. When I was getting my nails done, the guy was so sweet. I showed him what nails I wanted and he helped me pick out every single color - not many nail places I know do that. My nails are so smooth which again, some nail places they come out super bumpy. Some places also charge for coffin, as well as if all of your nails are different colors. They didn't overcharge me at all and this was one of the cheapest, nicest, and cleanest place I have ever been to. I was recommended by a friend and now I will recommend this to all my friends and family. I will definitely be returning. read more

Libra Nails Spa - Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Huntington, New York

They are located in a weird place but honestly they do a great job! Prices are reasonable and they are very nice. I have had to wait a little but honestly they do a good job. I get a powder gel manicure and it lasts me for weeks without chipping or getting caught in my hair (if you have powder gel you know what I mean lol). Wish they were more in town but either way, definitely my top place. read more

Just got my nails done by Lin. It was a little pricey for a mani pedi .... But totally worth it. The decor is really classy and pretty. The ambiance is relaxing and nice. The people are really friendly. Lin gives an awesome massage. A lot of fun things that would be considered "add Ons" at other places were included in the regular Mani pedi. I will definitely be returning ! read more

Love. Love. Love. Was recommended to try Libra from a friend as I'm always looking for great Nail Salons & couldn't have been happier. Extremely clean and nice color selection (opi & essie), the staff was so friendly and couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received. Manicure and pedicure was close to perfection, massages were awesome (best I've gotten in awhile from a salon). Wendy was great and really took her time, even helped me put my shoes on at the end, went the extra mile! Looking forward to making Libra my new staple nail salon. read more

Not a good manicure today. Daughter and her friend went. I picked them up and they told me one of the workers had been telling them to leave - they are too young to drive. And they gave one nail with a hair in it. Libra you are getting sloppy. read more

I love this nail salon! I have yet to have a bad experience- no cuts and everyone that works here goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Great massages and mani/pedi specials and the discounts they have from Mon- Wed are awesome. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Very basic location. High prices. Fees if you wanted to turn your chair massager on, not that I wanted to. Got a pedicure that was also pretty basic and nothing to brag about. It was okay. Would go somewhere else in the future read more

Went here for the first time on my lunch break from work to get a regular manicure- $10 - after not having my nails done for some time. I was sat down immediately after picking my color and was offered a massage by another employee shortly after being seated. Lin took her time paying special attention to my sensitive cuticles and cleaning up my nails to perfection before painting them. Good movie was streaming on the big screen behind her as well. While my nails dried, Lin also offered a second complimentary massage. My nails came out beautiful for the holidays. I am completely floored and can't wait to come back again!! read more

They used to be good, now not so much, ok prices for ok service. Paint chips in a day, and unless you tell them exactly what you want your going to get the very basic. read more

I've been here twice and both times they've had me wait for over a half hour for a basic mani pedi. The first time I came here there were two people working on a woman because she needed to get to work on time, and wanted a gel manicure. I also told the lady I had to get to work on time also, which didn't get me the same treatment. The second time I came here they said it was a 10 minute wait which was acceptable, until a lady came in 2 hours early for her appointment because she had nothing else to do before then. At which point they took her before me. I'm sorry, but I have been waiting for over a half hour and she made her appointment 2 hours after the fact that I came in. Poor time management. I would have given this place a better rating if it weren't for the terrible wait times I had to endure. read more

i honestly didn't have a good experience here. the nail tech was extremely rough with my nails and i got french tip nails and the lines aren't smooth and the edges of my nails are rough. won't be coming back read more

Nice, clean, friendly and a good inexpensive manicure!! Love that it's in my area and they always have some sci-fi movie playing :)

I'm not usually one to complain but I had a really bad experience in this place. I came in asking for silk wraps, it took me five minutes to try to explain my simple request because only one person spoke broken English. The guy that was doing my nails was huffing and puffing as he was sloppely wrapping my nails which I had to go somewhere else to later fix and straighten out. When I asked for a design on a nail he rolled his eyes! Not only was this unpleasant but also the rest of the crew standing over us watching the process the whole time. The one star is for the fact that they have a parking lot. Do yourself a favor and go to effective nail in town it's awesome! read more

Great place nice atmosphere Good massages too. They know what they are doing gel manicure should last and they are very organized.

Clean, Quiet place (No rude women on cell phones, taking loudly) and she did a great job on my Mai/Pedi and eyebrow wax.The price was good too. I will be going back again. :) read more

Libra Nails & Spa, can't be beat!!! Not only is the atmosphere pleasant it's spotlessly clean!!! The customer service is top-notch. I walked in and was greeted immediately and asked if I would like something to drink (even Wine WHAT!?!) or a snack to eat while I waited. Now I ask you, how many places cater to your needs that well?? Talk about being treated like a Queen !! And can we talk about the technicians, (pure artists) they know their stuff, they are gentle and my feet and hands have never felt or looked so good!!! Please please do yourself a favor and get the pedicure with paraffin wax .... OMG .... HEAVEN!!!! I've found my HAPPY PLACE, come find yours too!!! read more

This place is amazing. The prices are right in line with every other nail salon in huntington but the service exceeds any other place I have been. They have specials from M-W which gives you the opportunity to save some money. The place is always really busy so making an appointment is usually necessary. There isn't one "bad" staff member there- they are all so friendly and nice and take their time with you even until the last minute giving you a solid massage while you dry. read more

Really nice family who owns the business and convenient but this is the last time I leave with cuts on my fingers. I will definitely make this my neighborhood nail salon. The place is brand new and VERY clean. The staff was more than accommodating. They did not have magazines yet when I went and one of the staff members went to the store and came back with a stack of magazines for me. The pedicure was very good and I did a gel manicure. The manicure is one of the best gel manicures I have had in a long time. It has held up really well. I have been to A LOT of nail salons in huntington because I'm never happy with how my nails come out and this place really impressed me. read more

The place is beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and accommodating.
