I gotta say, this place rocks even for a regular manicure. My manicure made it about a week with no chips! That has literally never happened to me before. My friend was there to get wedding trials nails so I figured I would get something for myself too. Her nails came out great as well, she showed them a photo and they very easily accommodated what she was looking for. Special ring nails are $5 extra each. The space is small but they have the clear plexiglass between all seats and between the table as well. Hand sanitizer upon arrival. I felt very safe being there. I wouldn't recommend this salon for French acrylic nails. I went to get a new set of tips, and everyone talks about how this place does great designs so I assumed a French would be easy. I was told over the phone it would be $53 but when I got there they told me it was $75. Fine for a new set but confused on why I was told different prices. I also don't love the color of the French, and my nails originally looks very short and bubbly. I got this done about a week and a half ago. People are horribly rude and mean but continued going because one lady did a good job on my UV gel nails. Last time she absolutely butchered them and was clearly in a rush so I contacted her when I got home to tell her I was unhappy and asked to come in to fix them. I was told she couldn't redo the design even though that wasn't the main issue. I received no further response. Was unable to make an appointment after that and was blocked. Ok. I'm conflicted. I think this nail salon is the BEST place to go if you want a design. The girls here are amazing at designs! I'm always impressed at their work. But, I have to say - the pricing has gotten a bit crazy. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for why they charge what they do. Sometimes the added cost for a simple design is insane. I wish there was a published guide for the price per nail for nail art. I've watched many people, each time I'm there, have a shocked look on their face when they're told how much extra it will cost. I fear they're losing customers because they're overcharging for their work. I paid $20 extra just to get a colored French tip on each nail. That's crazy. read more

I started going here two years ago and have never even considered walking into another nail salon since. Number one, the owner Jon runs the most organized nail salon I've been to. Even with all of the Covid regulations in place, everything goes smoothly and efficiently. Jon and Emily are the nicest, most personable and talented people I've ever met. This is far and away the best nail salon on Long Island. When my nail place in Huntington closed down 2 years ago, I was so upset and struggled for so long to find a place that I loved. I really like doing fun, interesting designs on my UV gel tip nails and I had such a hard time finding a place that does my nails the way I like. I must have tried out AT LEAST 15 different places over the past few years. I traveled all over the island for places that I heard good reviews about. Some places were okay, but I am so particular and picky about my nails that no place really blew me away. A friend on Facebook recommended ChiChi, and since they are right on my way home from work, I decided to give them a try. They truly blew me away! Everyone there is so warm and friendly. They are always super accommodating and will try to move things around in their schedule to get me in. They are covid-cautious and very clean and safe. And their nails are ART!! They come out so perfect every single time!! They really take their time with you and make sure that you walk out LOVING your nails! Christy and Emily usually do mine and both of them are so amazing!! A few weeks ago, I closed my car door on my finger and my nail broke off. I called them and they got me in the very next morning to fix it, free of charge. Today, I had to change around my appointment due to a scheduling conflict. They were closed but I messaged them on instagram. They answered back immediately and were able to switch my appointment and get me in first thing tomorrow morning. This place is super nice and clean. They definitely follow proper covid protocols. I had an appointment for a powder gel manicure. I was done in 35 minutes which was great but now under two weeks later all my nails are starting to peel off. I have never had a powder gel manicure come off so easily. I've gone through getting gel, acrylic, and recently powder here. They do such a great job! I usually get almond or stiletto shaped nails and they really take the time to make sure it's shaped correctly, making sure to ask me if they're to my liking. Recently I've been getting the powder over natural nails. With the powder they make sure it doesn't look thick and they file the sides to keep a more natural shape. we drove an hour to get here and then after waiting two hours and asking when it was our turn, we finally were able to start. 1 of us did gel and tips, the other did normal. The gel and tips were fine but the ladies were horrible and very time consuming.For the non gel, after explaining our wait time and if they could just do even a heart, they wouldn't do any design whatsoever. We then decided that we could do gel as long as they can do a design. the lady said that she doesn't have time at all even though we had appointments. Please, don't waste your time. I made an appointment at ChiChi nails because I'd heard such great things about their nail art. When I went in today for my appointment, and showed the nail tech a picture of nail art I had in mind, she kept pushing the stickers version of it on me. I said no twice, and then she said that what I was asking for would require more time than she had. I understood and showed her a much simpler design (sheer nails with half a daisy on two nails). She again started pushing the stickers version on me, this time saying there was people waiting to get their nails done. I had only been in the chair for 15 minutes.... I asked her if she could paint the flowers as that was my preference and I had an appointment. She said ok, started painting my nails and then said "your nails are too short for a design. You should do a sticker." I said no to the sticker politely and no to any designs. I left disappointed because I didn't feel like my time was valued or respected.
