Getting here wasn't horribly hard, but I contribute that to the early morning hours. Pulled in and right up to the pumps. While I filling up the tank my Dad went inside to fill up a coffee cup. After I finished at the pumps I also went inside to get myself a drink. I am not a coffee drinker, but I still needed my caffeine. I went with the coolers and grabbed myself a sweet tea. Checking out inside was quick for me as I went the self checkout route. I can only imagine what this place is like during the daylight hours. Maybe some time in the future I will venture out this way to check it out.

Today took the cake. 5pm rush hour. The register at the drive through was broken (again). Inside the line went through the aisles. How many people in the store rallied to help cut down on the delays - ONE. One register open out of 3 plus a drive through. If Caremark didn't have the leverage over us through my insurance - we would've quit on CVS years ago. Whomever / whichever area manager is in charge of this store is either incompetent or asleep at the switch. Metrics and frequent visits or customer satisfaction audits would easily show that this store is terrible - even for CVS.

Look, I understand that people prefer the larger stall, but I shouldn't have to flash my ass at strangers cuz you've got calls to make. Have some consideration. After all that, we didn't buy anything cuz all we wanted to do was get away from this demented store and these late night people.

The pattern is hard to ignore and raises obvious questions about management's motive. The bigger issue is that customer service appears to be an alien concept to the staff and management. On one pickup, an employee whose background shall not be named, immediately pushed for a review. Apparently, earning five stars is optional; asking for them isn't. If you're in the store, customer service starts with pretending you don't exist.

They will always offer help out to your car which is hit or miss elsewhere. They also offer a full pharmacy and you can get your flu shots there for free. Finally, this Harris teeters has a Starbucks inside so you can get your caffeine fix on the way in - or on the way out - and their service is just as good as the regular Starbucks.
