Getting here wasn't horribly hard, but I contribute that to the early morning hours. Pulled in and right up to the pumps. While I filling up the tank my Dad went inside to fill up a coffee cup. After I finished at the pumps I also went inside to get myself a drink. I am not a coffee drinker, but I still needed my caffeine. I went with the coolers and grabbed myself a sweet tea. Checking out inside was quick for me as I went the self checkout route. I can only imagine what this place is like during the daylight hours. Maybe some time in the future I will venture out this way to check it out.

Yes but it's not the cheapest. Props to the really good employees here. Definitely an efficient and friendly staff. Sandwich and coffee helped the drive, be a little more bearable. The two older 7-Elevens were really old - they were in Gainesville as long as I can remember - 20 years or more. So in comparison - this is a nice new facility - gas station, restrooms, ATM, convenience store, and more. I'm betting this location does a hell of a business on days/evenings that concerts are taking place at Nissan Pavilion - it's very close to that concert venue. Then went inside - ordered a breakfast Sammie to go: Sausage, egg, and cheese - with extra sausage and cheese - on a croissant, plus an order of mini hashbrowns. As with all Sheetz - you place your order at a digital kiosk - which spits out a receipt - that one then takes up to the register. Paid with Apple Pay. Food came up quickly - they call your order number out over a PA system to advise it is ready for pickup. First time I've seen that at a Sheetz! Food was hot and tasty! #Sheetz

The person that was at the register was Mimi, a lady who was there as long as I would go to this 7/11. For some reason, something in the back of my brain said "Get a receipt and look at it". On the receipt, it listed an additional iced tea... The iced tea tea costs $1.99 although on my rewards program, discounted the iced tea purchase by 99 cents. I didn't purchase this item. I never asked for a receipt in the past. All of a sudden, for some weird reason.. I asked for it ??? I felt duped. for the past 18 years. I was dealing with a store that I never questioned and now after 18 years.. I now have reason to believe that I was being charged b/c I just didn't check. I now have the feeling that this is a practice that may have been in practice???? I just don't know.. I questioned Mimi and she refunded my $1. After looking at the receipt, I realized that there was no way that there was an accident based on where the Iced Team was charged in the chronology of what was rung up. I now wonder how many $1s I have been overcharged.??? If you go to a convenience store especially with Mimi and that 7/11 GET the receipt.. This is not over.. I just don't want others to be defrauded by this action. If for some reason, I was walking out with 2 bucks of unpaid product I would be criminally liable.
