Took my Camaro in because it died in the middle of the road. First issue was wiring. I was told that my extended warranty contract through Alpha would not cover the repair. Second was the sunroof and again was told that wasn't covered either. It would have to be paid out of pocket. Rob Lewis is a terrible manager I took my 2018 for an oil change. And this is not the first time I took my vehicle there for oil change got my vehicle back and about two hours I check engine light. I got it checked out and it was a vacuum leak. I opened the hood and noticed my oil dipstick was missing. So I called to let them know that it was missing the dipstick and I wanted them to replace it and check to see if the engine was still good and nothing wrong with it Rob wasn't very happy or respectful and even trying to make it seem like I did it on purpose so I told him if he didn't want to get it I can get my lawyer to figure it out he didn't like that. I bought the Chevy Maintenance Plan that when sold to me stated that all Chevy Dealerships will accept. Went to Liberty, and they claimed they did not accept. When I called the program, the program confirmed that they did accept the Chevy Maintenace Plan. Then Liberty refused to take the Maintenace plan and I had to pay for my Oil Change. Do not EVER buy a Maintenance Plan as it is not worth it and not honored as advertised. read more

My car has been in their shop for over a month, no works has been done. I was lied and told that my car was inspected and they had done a tear down of my engine a few weeks ago. But in-fact nothing had been done. This is not the first time they lied. They don't take accountability for their actions and just don't care for their costumers. If I could give them a zero I would. I am a pharmacist and pharmacy manager for a chain retail pharmacy. I am extremely busy weekly and I have limited availability. My AC in my Chevrolet Tahoe stopped working suddenly. No AC my driving in this hot weather very difficult. I called Fresno and Clovis Chevrolet to schedule an appointment but unfortunately they told me I have to wait 2-3 weeks to get me in. I didn't give up and I was desperate so I called Selma Chevrolet and I was so lucky to speak to Austin. Family just bought a truck from here. Good customer service until after the deal and sale was complete. Been trying to figure out when a parts where going to arrive (as part of our contract). Been getting the run around with voicemails and no one seems to answer their phones. Tried to call there parts department and they have no idea about the parts in questions because sales didn't relay that information. Left a message for their finance person to call me back earlier and would you have guess it. They were gone for the day. Absolutely BS. Also read the fine print on the window sticker. Didn't know that some of the chips were not in the truck. So some features don't work. The sales person didn't mention this. I had to go and ask why a $60k truck wasn't working. After waiting for about 15 minutes a guy came out from the office and asked if I was being helped. He proceeded with the offer process and after waiting for at least 30+ minutes in his office he came with the offer that was a pure low ball! Estimated 5k lower than what other dealership offered. Don't go there! Those guys are vouchers or better yet hyenas. Also rude. When I politely refused to sell for such a low price and was ready to leave, I didn't even hear a simple "goodbye" at the end of our interaction... SMH :( read more

I selling my Chevrolet. There were a couple of items wrong with it. To maximize the value of the car I had Liberty Chevrolet local dealership (Selma CA) Go through the car, fix the items, and fix anything else they might find wrong with it I put an entry into Kelly Blue Book about selling my car. I put all the particulars in - make, model, year, mileage. The car has no scratches, dents, and I had had it recently detailed to make it the most presentable for resale. This entry into Kelly Blue Book led to me receiving an offer from Liberty Chevrolet for the amount of 11,625. Note that this is the same dealership that had done repairs on the car. I was asked to bring in the car so that Liberty Chevrolet could examine it. They did their examination and said that the most they could pay me with 7500. We got into a discussion as to why such a discount. The appraiser said that because of the mileage they would not be able to sell it on their lot. They would have to send it to auction. Then why have me bring it in for an exam - you already had the mileage. A couple of weeks later I got a call from Liberty Chevrolet asking if I was still interested in selling them my car. I said no because I didn't feel that I had not been ethically dealt with previously. They had already inspected the car and made me a low offer. Why are you calling me again? The girl the phone did not seem to have much of an answer so I asked to talk to a manager. The "manager" said the price is probably discounted because they found something wrong with the car. I responded that your own shop did all inspection/repairs. Then he said that the offer came from Kelly Blue Book - not from Liberty. I responded that the offer had Liberty Chevrolet on it. Lot of excuses/contradictions. They were unethical in their dealings. I felt that this is a form of bait and switch. I also felt cheated that their own service shop did about $1500 in repairs. We spoke the night before about a lease and had specified what monthly amount the lease payment would be, how much down, etc. He showed me options of what cars qualify for this specific lease deal and the only thing I needed to figure out was what color vehicle I wanted. I get to the dealership on time for our appt to find out Rene is not there. Someone else helps me and goes over our previous text messages. He says none of the cars qualify for this lease and our agreed upon lease deal has now doubled in price/month. I purchased a vehicle here with a trade in. The service was great and the vehicle is quality. The timeframe for them to send payment to payoff the loan amount was unacceptable. It took them 16 days to draft a check to the lender of my trade-in. They required my bank send them payment for the new purchase within 5 days. Which is fine, but why not show the same urgency paying for the trade-in? I called to inquire about this and was told they needed to call me back and never did. I then asked them to show me a vehicle that is in my price range and they actually were trying to force me to take this vehicle even though it is now way out of my budget. I came into this dealership on October 18,2019 to get an oil change. When I came in for an oil change nothing was wrong with my car prior to coming into the dealer. Once I left the dealer service part I noticed after driving it that the car wasn't working properly like how it used to. Then as I was driving my car at night it started to have the stablitrak light on along with the engine light on as well. This made stop my car before I even got home. Unable to drive it home I got it towed to my house. The following Monday I took my car to get serviced by the service department. They had told me once they were done and after me spending all my day there that my car was fixed. However, when I drove my car the following night it started to have the same light on. My advice to whoever services the cars DO YOUR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!! Don't make the customer come back and fourth it's giving the place a bad nam So after 3 months of taking my car to this place I decided to take my car to another mechanic since my car seemed to be having the same issue. When I took it to another shop they told me that Selma liberty did not connect the sparks right on my car. It's outrages how they lied straight to my face saying they fixed my car. The service was better than it previously was, not saying that the previous service was terrible but it did progress from then. The staff was kind and understanding of our car problems even though we came in a tiny bit annoyed... The wait didn't seem that much when the waiting room couches are comfortable and complimentary coffee and cookies were provided! Sometimes there's popcorn as well! This dealership SUCKS, I KID YOU NOT. We are senior citizens and we were looking for a second car. The salesman was very polite but was not sure about many questions we asked of him. We requested to finance the car locally but he said the rates at Valley First and EECU were higher than the credit union he referred us to. He said they had an office in Dinuba and Kingsburg, come to find out , he LIED. The closest office was in Bakersfield. Not only that but Valley first actually had a better rate.He also charged us $150.00 restocking fee with out telling us. We bought a Warranty only to discover that after owning the car for only 2 weeks the rear shocks were leaking but the warranty did not cover " Seeping '' shocks and it cost me $500 to replace them. Not to mention a Ambien Outside temperature unit. Another $100 out of pocket cost.Lie after Lie.prior to my appoint at the service I was told by my salesman that the shocks would be changed under the warranty . I'm writing this review after cooling off for 9 hours. I would like to give zero stars but one is going to have to do. We were selling my father in laws truck after he passed away. I did a Kelley blue book review on our truck and got immediate response from multiple dealers. Selma auto mall called immediately and gave us a cash offer that was listed on the review. We went there on Tuesday and they were able to up the offer because of the low mileage. My mother in law wanted to drive a Toyota so we needed to leave for 45 minutes to deal with the Toyota dealer. Before leaving we asked if we needed to get the offer in writing ( for a set amount of time ) and they assured us no it will be good. They stand behind their word. Wrong. I'm upset with myself for not getting it in writing and or not just selling it right then. My wife and mother in law go back next day after being guaranteed that someone will be able to handle the sale and low and behold our person is off and no manager on duty, and no paperwork on our truck. Fast forward to today and I speak with our person and yes she's working and ready for the truck. My wife and her mom get there and now $3500 less for truck. Market changed. I have friends in the business and yes a change happened ten days ago not two. This was hard enough for her to have to sell truck but this experience is very sad. People at this business do not stand behind their word. Our person( I don't want to name because I believe they were not in control of this) went to someone on Tuesday afternoon to get the price but somehow in two days it goes down by $3500. 2020 is bad enough with everything that has happened so far but please read this review before you consider this business. I set up a test drive appointment for a vehicle that I am seriously considering purchasing with a very specific option package . Contacted them a week in advance and made an appointment, which was confirmed twice ahead of time including the day of . I took time away from work and drove down from Fresno and when I arrived the vehicle was in the showroom and they told me they would not allow me to test drive it because they didn't want to put miles on it. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I've heard similar complaints about this dealership in the past and this confirms the rumors for me. Very disappointing.
