LIANG CAN NEVER DO WRONG. I love this place when I want to eat an affordable and yummy meal. The large for this one is $11 and the regular is only $8!!!! The chicken is so crispy and it is a well balanced meal with a bunch of veggies inside. The service is always great. It is just one guy working (im assuming he is the owner) every time I go there and he always seems so happy!! The inside is very small because it is more of a pick up situation.
I happened upon Liang Crispy Roll while drinking boba in the same plaza and I just looked out the window and read the name thinking "Wow that sounds so delicious right now" I've ordered the Marinated Beef Crispy Roll and Kimchi Pork Crispy Roll. I did $7.99 each for the regular size. The "large" would've been $10.99 in which they just add more meat according to the worker. The filling is wrapped in a "layer crepe" which you can get plain or with chives aka a delicious scallion pancake which are my faaaavorite! The marinated beef was tasty. In the kimchi pork roll, I felt like the kimchi was really overpowering everything. I do love kimchi though so I still thought it was yummy! I'd keep the rolls wrapped in the paper and to just fold it down as you eat because it can get pretty messy which is why they give you a glove with your order. The veggies that are included in the roll like the lettuce can get kinda messy and everywhere so you gotta hold onto that roll real tight and take big bites lol. I felt like I couldn't put it down so you just have to keep eating lol. I went here with friends the first time and we all loved it! Then I just had to bring my bf to try them out too and he loved his spicy fried chicken crispy roll! All orders are to-go as there is nowhere to sit in here. It's a small shop for just the register in front and then kitchen in the back. They usually say 10-15 min wait for your order. Love this place now for a quick bite or even a "snack" in my opinion. One can fill you up though!

The sauce goes well with it, and theres plenty of veggies with it too. 5/5 Beef roll- Beef isn't bad, but the marinate is basically hoisin sauce, and there's not much originality to the rest of roll imo. Almost feels like you're eating a colder version of pho taste-wise. There are also veggies and sesame seeds, but I wouldn't say this is my favorite by any means. 3/5

Don't sleep on it, give this place a try! Very friendly owners as well. We were told that the most popular options was the Spicy Fried Chicken and the Marinated Beef. Both were good! I liked the spicy fried chicken just a tad bit more. Loved how crispy the chicken was! I definitely want to go back and try the Cumin Lamb as that was also another popular option. We ordered the regular size and surprisingly satisfied our hunger for me and my bf. I think the large size means they give more meat - not that the roll is bigger. If you have a big appetite, I think this could also be a great option for a snack!
An update: I had the spicy fried chicken and it was soooo good and so filling! This is the one to get, but I still want to try the beef one.
It's a very tiny shop with basically no seating. I enjoyed my lamb, cumin roll, but it was pretty pricey. You can actually buy these exact pancakes with Jay Chou on the packaging at your local Asian market in the frozen section. So you can essentially make a version of this yourself. I just happened to be in the plaza so I decided to come and get my own. The fruit tea was decent. But I definitely wouldn't get it again. Overall, not amiss, but the shop definitely needs some TLC.

This is a popular spot that I've had bookmarked for a while and finally got to try. It's along Colima in the midst of several miles of great food but I was in the area and needing a quick snack and Liang sounded perfect. They really only serve one item here -- wraps made with green onion shao bing around iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, and your choice of meat. There are not really good descriptions of the menu items here (maybe better if you can read Chinese?) and since I didn't know what to order, I quickly scanned Yelp photos and opted to go for the pork crispy roll. I think it was lightly battered deep fried pork that had already been braised so it was quite tender if not a bit salty for my taste. The roll was served with a couple of sweet sauces, one which reminded me of french dressing and the other a very mild hoisin? I noticed a chili pepper printed on the menu next to this roll and asked for not spicy but I think the roll may have needed whatever hot sauce or seasoning that indicates. So that was my fault. The green onion pancake is indeed crispy and stays that way but I've been ruined by having these at nightmarkets in Taiwan and I'd have liked this one to be flakier and less dense, though that would have been a mess to eat. Considering this is a takeout only spot, service was a bit slow. There were maybe 3 people ahead of me and my one roll took 15 minutes to make. I guess it's all made to order. Food is fresh and hot, though, and wrapped and packaged so nicely. I imagine I was one of the few non-locals here and would have loved to eat this somewhere other than my car but oh well. I imagine the small space helps keep the rent down. A tasty treat but not sure it's worth the time or $8 pricetag, unfortunately. Maybe I had bad timing, ordered wrong, or needed that chili sauce after all.

You place your order with the cashier, and they make your order fresh in the back. I got the crispy duck roll. It's absolutely amazing. At the time the large roll was $16. I'm not sure if that price is worth tha value of the room, but if you're in the area and want to try something new, then it's a fantastic option.

They use the flaky green onion pancake to wrap it with but it's not too greasy which is great. The large was filling but it was so good I had to finish it in one sitting. Their marinated beef was good too but pork definitely beats it. A cute little shop next to the galleria grocery store, which you can swing by to kill some time as they make this to order

Came here to get a crispy roll quick. Service was quick and easy. There is a .50 cent charge if you do not go over $15 on the card. The inside is small and has no seats. Took about 5 minutes and got it to go. Overall, pretty decent. read more
Tucked away in a plaza, this small table-less restaurant is one of the reasons that keeps me coming back to Rowland Heights. Having tried almost all the rolls, i think 01 spicy fried chicken crispy roll is the winner. Service: excellent Food: excellent Wait times: 10-15min Seating: no I've been coming here for 4-5 years and it is always so so good. always the same friendly guy at the front that is SO fast with making orders. No matter if its busy or not, the wait is 10- 15 minutes. Call ahead and order so you can time your pickup to ensure freshest crispiness. There is no tables, the whole interior is basically 80% kitchen. They prioritize getting your food out and send you on your way. My bf and I eat ours sometimes on the car because we want to enjoy it when its fresh. You can also drive to yes plaza nearby for tables and drinks. I'm so glad food like this exists in Rowland!! Got a doordash order and it still came totally fresh. - crispy pork roll (the pork was super tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside, definitely a flavor explosion, & a pinch on the spicy side. All wrapped in an onion pancake. Possibly without the onions though. I am so excited to finally get to try Liang Crispy Roll. 10/10 so worthwhile. Upon entering the shop, we were introduced to one of the workers there. It is a really really small shop, but he was so great and so helpful. I got the spicy chicken roll, and my friends got the duck roll and the pork roll. All 3 of them were delicious. The spicy chicken had a mild kick, but I didn't think that it was that spicy. I had asked for the sauce on the side because the worker told me it was really spicy, so maybe that is the reason why. All of them are freshly made and wrapped upon ordering. I absolutely will be coming back and trying other rolls. So freaking good! It is more of a grab-and-go shop because there aren't any tables or chairs. read more
The pork crispy roll was delicious. The pork was crispy, flavorful, and the sauce they added on top was amazing. It took about 10 minutes because he made them fresh, and it was worth the wait. The store is really small, but the colors and the decorations are really nice. I would definitely come back here again, and I would recommend to anyone in the area! read more

I was so excited to try this place after bookmarking it for so long, but I was left disappointed. They share a large but crowded parking lot with a lot of other businesses. It's pretty messy to eat and the skin flakes off, so I suggest not eating in the car, unless you don't mind crumbs everywhere. Roasted duck crispy roll: The duck was hard, dry, and tough to chew. It had flavor of peking duck, but not the texture or juiciness. They placed almost all the duck at the bottom of the roll, and I had two small pieces of duck on the first bite and all veggies in the middle and some at the bottom. The crispy roll itself was very flaky and delicious! Spicy fried chicken crispy roll: The chicken was very soggy even though I ate it immediately. I enjoyed the crispy skin of the wrap, but not the already soggy chicken drenched in a mayonnaise like sauce. In summary, the skin for the crispy rolls were amazing! Perfectly crispy, flaky, and not too oily. The chicken and duck were disappointing in terms of texture. I wanted to give a higher rating, but we ended up throwing away more than half of it, even though the duck was pretty expensive. read more

Love all the crispy rolls here. Ive tried a few of them and my fav is the garlic shrimo, spicy chicken, pineapple shrimp. Great portion for the price. Every bites has an equal meat to veggie ratio. Also love the fact that they give a glove to eat with so you dont have to get your hands dirty. Friendly and fast service. Check it out for a quick lunch! read more
OMG! Glad I came. I was in the area. I wanted something new. This place had good reviews and the pics looks good too. There's no dine in. Service is cool. Pretty quick transaction. Menu is simple. Easy to choose. A lot of options. So to me it's like a crepe. But with food instead of sweets. I ordered the marinated beef and spicy chicken. Soooo good. I really liked the spicy chicken. Good crunch and taste. I recommend both but I like the spicy chicken more. They're made fresh. Veggies and meat. Sooo good. The crunch is aesthetic lol like asmr. Portions of meat are good. Saw on TikTok for the best to-go meal! So we went there to check it out! It is in the plaza with many other asian cuisines! Plenty of parking lots since its in a plaza. That place is so cute and comfy small! No table or chairs. It is perfect for quick to-go meals and easy to eat at all once. My fiancé & I ordered Marinated Beef Crispy Roll & Pork Crispy Roll plus Sparkling water with passion fruit drink. All i can say iS WOW! It melts in our mouth, very fresh veggies and soft meats! Just love how it blend with many flavors in it. Their sparkling water with passion fruit is a heaven! Its not too sweet or sour! Its like a very refreshing drink! We would love to order there again and make sure check in their Yelp page to get 10% off or order online for easier pick up! read more

Oh wow! I really like this place. Been seeing this place pop up on Yelp a lot and then started seeing it on Instagram. I've been bugging my husband for days about it and we finally went for lunch today. It's a take out only place - very small inside. They have a pretty decent array of items on their menu. My husband got the spicy crispy chicken and I got the duck. It took about 10-15 minutes for our food to get ready and since it was pretty breezy outside, we ate in our cars with the windows down. It is delicious and they don't skimp on the meats. My roll had a lot of duck - the good juicy pieces too! My husband said his was okay - so he'd probably try a different one next time. Cannot wait to come back so I can try other flavors. read more
Have you ever had roti canai? The wrap is SIMILAR, but more crunchy. That was what drew me into trying this restaurant. I ordered the pork crispy roll while my girlfriends got roasted duck, kimchi pork, and fried chicken. They were ALL good! I've heard from others that this may be a bit too salty, but I think that depends on your own tastebud. The next time I visit, I want to order the roasted duck and fried chicken! read more
I love their Rolls ! Nice Crunch and taste to them. Combo comes with the Roll, sauce, and a tea! Love the sweetness and the spicyness mixed together inside the roll. tea is a hit or miss since sometimes its bitter and sometimes its sweet. overall a good place to have a lunch or something to take to the park. read more

Checked this place out since I was in the area and needed to grab something for lunch. They're a small shop, but the workers were friendly and were quick to cook up my order. I got the Pork Crispy Roll and thought that it was pretty delicious! It makes for a quick lunch and the flavors were tasty. The price is really cheap as well, so if you're looking to not spend too much for take out, Liang Crispy Roll is a good spot to grab some food from! read more
Since my grandparents moved out Rowland Heights, it's been too long to visit this lovely city with many many yummy food. My friend and I came to this highly recommended food place to try out the crispy rolls and we are NOT disappointed. Cumin Lamb Crispy Roll, I love lamb and it was presented beautifully in this roll with so much flavors dancing on my taste buds, the meat is freshly grilled with well seasoned; pancake is crispy and yet with a slight sweetness. This food place is located in a food plaza on Colima Rd. with plenty of parking spots. It's a small but cozy place to get a quick healthy lunch or even a snack. Recommended to my coworker and she came on other day for Crispy Beef and chicken rolls, she really likes them too. They still practice CDC guidelines for COVID-19 so thank you for keeping your customers and the community safe. read more
The small shop serves Chinese style crepes filled with meats, vegetables, and sauces. When I first came in, many of the items were sold out but it was okay because the item I wanted wasn't. I ordered the marinated beef since it was their most popular item Marinated beef (4/5): It was definitely a good size as it was pretty big. However, I thought the ratio from meat to vegetable was off as there was too much vegetables and not enough meat. In addition, they could've added more hoisen sauce to add more flavor. At first glance, I thought these were some kind of scallion pancake rolls, but the rolls are just wrapped in crispy prata bread. Although it's apparently cooked in scallion oil, I did not see any pieces of scallions or green onions in the bread. I like the thickness of it and how it holds everything together well. Chicken Crispy Roll: The chicken was juicy and pretty good. It tasted like it's covered in teriyaki sauce. I'm not a big fan of the bell peppers and jalapenos though. The lettuce added a nice, fresh crunch. Pork Crispy Roll: Delicious! Not only was the bread crispy, but so was the pork. The sauce gave it a lot of flavor and the veggies were the perfect combination. This was by far my favorite roll. Bacon Egg Crispy Roll: Good proportion of bacon to egg. Taste was nothing great. This roll felt the most oily out of the three that I tried. All the crispy rolls were quite filling. I like how each roll is individually packaged in its own box. I also like the open kitchen, which allows us to watch how the rolls are made. The store is really small. There's only enough space for one customer to be inside at a time. This I a tiny little place. But, don't let this little place fool you. I got the kimchi pork roll. It was so yummy. The man who I believe was the owner was super kind and talkative. I had lots of questions. The one I picked he said was his favorite. I must agree. That is if you like kimchi. There is no where to sit and eat. But, I would still recommend going. Even if you have to have a tailgate lunch or dinner. Got myself a rose water from Argentina there too. read more
****Liang's Crispy Potk Kimchi Roll**** I am really not sure what this is, but I am totally open to being educated. So, school me! This was an absolute first for me. The place has an Asian boy band figure promoting everything from the menu to posters inside the shop. I have no idea who this guy is. But, this dude is lucky if he gets to eat this stuff all day long. I came here with a coworker and we both ordered the crispy pork kimchi roll.The kimchi is different than the kimchi I have had at Korean shops.The rapper is extremely crispy and the perfect mechanism to hold the pork and kimchi ingredients.While in the plaza, we could see people eating the crispy roll everywhere. Outside their cars and inside their cars everybody was enjoying their food! Would I come here again? Absolutely! This is a to-go shop. The lady is very nice and willing to answer your questions. My first time trying these famous crispy rolls! I believe these are wildly popular in Indonesia, so I was happy to see they had a location in the 626. Jay Chou approved! The shop is very small and only one person can fit inside the store (with or without the pandemic). I asked the worker what their most popular item was and she recommended the Chicken or Pork Crispy roll. I went for the chicken! I asked her if it was spicy and she said no, it's sweet... but to my surprise, there were some pickled jalapenos! So be careful, especially if you are sharing with your kids. The chicken was very sweet, similar to a teriyaki sweetness! The bell peppers and lettuce added a good refreshing crunch to it too. The crispy roll itself was to die for! SO GOOD. The texture was like a scallion pancake, but better? I was impressed. Not too heavy nor greasy. They also had some desserts in their glass case that were very intriguing. I will definitely be back to try that Golden Egg Pork Sung Cheesecake! It looked amazing. Overall, I will definitely be back. This was the perfect mid-day snack while I was in the area. What is the updated hours of operation (Sept 2021)?
Has anyone try their steak wrap? Is it hard to chew?
No it's not hard to chew. They cut the steak into small pieces.
What are their hours?
M-Th 10:30 am - 9 pm, F-Su 10:30 am - 11 pm. These hours were posted on their door on 12/27/2019 when I was there.
