Have been going here off and on for a couple of years and I liked the place it was clean and the people were friendly. However the last two times I have gone there, I feel I was treated unprofessionally and down right rude. I went in at 6:55, I looked on the door for the hours, showed open @ 9:30, but no closing time. I went up to the counter and the young owners daughter asked me what I was there for and I said schellac & a pedicure, she said it will be just minute so I started picking out my colors. A 1/2 hour later a girl comes up with bowl for me to soak off my old polish and I'mthinking why didn'tshe put me in a pedi spa chair and soak my feet at the same time. 20 min later she takes me back to her table, I set down a bottle of polish, she says "what is that for" I say for my pedicure , she starts in on me about she don't have time to do nails and pedi that she wouldn't get done till 9:30, not get home til 10:00 and she has a family. She goes on to say, you did that last time too You come in too late. I calmly said to her " I asked when I came in, "do you have time for shellac & a pedi and I was told it would just be a minute, if you would have told me up front you didn't have time I could have gone somewhere else". Then her and the girl next to her started talking to in Vietnamese. I asked them if they were talking about me and she started yelling at me" I'm not talking about you in my language - it was like the episode out if Seinfeld. She just looked down and started getting rough with my nails. I was sitting there quietly trying to calm myself down, so I wouldn't get ugly or cause a scene- I WAS THERE TO RELAX & TREAT MYSELF, not to be badgered and talked down to because I had the nerve to walk into there shop to pay $35 of my hard earned money to get my nails painted!!!!! The longer I sat there the madder I got, so when she got done trimming my cuticles I got in my purse took our a $10 bill and asked her if I could get $5 back that I was so upset I needed to leave and I wanted to pay her for what she had done and leave. That wasn't good enough for her, started yelling at me that a manicure cost $11. I told her I know and that she had only done 1/2 a mani so I was paying her for what she had done. Then the young girl chimed in, she's not going to pay you? I turned to her showed her my nails that still had chunks if the old shellac on them and told her I was paying her for what work she had done. The young girl would not even look at me and told the other woman "just let her leave", the lady started yelling at me that I was not to come back next time. I told her I had no intention if coming back. I find it hard to believe with the economy the way it is and nail shops on every corner they would treat someone the way they did. All they had to say when I walked in the door was, I'm sorry it's too late we can't do both and give me the chance to decide if I wanted to stay or go somewhere else. Instead they lead me to believe they were going to my services and then picked the quickest most expensive one to do. I will tell everyone I know and I know at least 3 of my neighbors go there what an awful experience I had, not once but twice. The previous experience with a guy there was about the same, I was rushed out and he didn't even want to put lotion on my hands. Great nail shop! Love their service and my nails look great! Very recommended. I had got some art work done and my bails and I absolutely love it. Their skill work is very precise & amazing it's beyond me. My also got my toes done. Felt amazing and the work was very well done too! I have been going to this place for a while. The daughter is very rude! They charged me for a service that I wasn't aware of. I don't mind paying extra for something I need but ask first. I questioned her about it when I came back with a friend and she was very sarcastic and rude and told me and my friend to get out. Clean and affordable. Nice people. I recommend more gel colors and more variety of glitter polish. This wld be the only reason I wldnt come back bc its not enough glitter or gel. People like options ans variety of colors! I feel like this place is my home and they know me well! read more

I get gel on my nails & regular polish on my toes. She did my pedicure first which was fine because it doesn't dry as fast as my nails would. I picked a super cute hot pink. My toes were okay but when she began to paint my nails they were a complete different color. Literally a purple! I said please stop you grabbed the wrong color. She couldn't speak English so grabbed a other tech who wasn't any better. I explained this doesn't match my toes. I placed my nails close to my feet so that they could see. Another tech came and said ma'am we don't have that color in gel. I asked why didn't call tell me that before y'all started the service. That way I can pick 2 pinks that match since they didn't have the color I chose in gel. Who wants pink toe nails & purple finger nails? They stated speaking in Chinese and getting annoyed and began to paint my nails again in the purple. I asked her to stop. This lady said im not doing this and called the police on me! I was in such shock. Never had this ever happened to me. It was because I am black. Numerous older black women walked out of the shop as well once they saw how i was treated. I paid for my service full price for A trash pedicure and nails which weren't painted. NEVER go here! read more

Very unpleasant experience. Not only was I unable to adjust the massage for my own chair but it was left in an uncomfortable position for my entire pedi. There is a terrible language barrier and i found it very hard to get what I wanted across. They don't do gel polish on toes and the guy had an attitude because he didn't understand me. I had a better experience in Wal-Mart. After all of the confusion, I decided to just let them finish and leave but then there was a problem with their card reader. I love the color I picked and the shaping but I will NEVER go back because of the poor service. Good luck! read more

While I was getting my nails done, the guy had cut my fingers several times, burned my skin from the file, and made my fingernail bleed taking my previous nails off. It seemed like he was in a rush the whole time, kept paying attention to the clock more then my nails. All my nails were different shapes yet he charged me extra for the shape and to get my nails taken off. When I tried to talk to the lady about lowering my price because 70 dollars wasn't what my nails looked worth she got loud with me and was rude. So much for a good experience with my first time in St. Louis. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I went early in the morning to avoid the crowd. The place is not super nice but it is affordable. So far i am happy with my gel mani and regular pedi. Very unprofessional. I was yelled at when I returned the next day to get my broken nails fixed. They told me to go to another nail salon if I was unhappy. Two nail techs "ganged" up on me and berated me in front of other customers. They also assign very inexperienced nail techs to do work and if they mess up your nails, they become very defensive and act like it's your fault for being a difficult customer. Horrible customer service. Kept insulting my friends nails, refused to give her a gel mani because her nails were not "pretty" enough. Then when it came to pay refused my gift certificate because it was a year old, even though there was no expiration date on the certificate. So I ended up paying $70 for a mani pedi I was not expecting. They do a decent job but ill take my money somewhere that treats me like a good customer. I waited 2 hours with an appointment and still never got my nails done. I watched people who came in after me get services before even coming in an half hour after I did. I ended up leaving with a pedicure but my nails undone. The young guy there is a jerk. Don't go to this place. read more

I always go here because they're friendly and accommodating. HOWEVER, there is one particular gentleman who texts and talks on his cell phone nearly the entire time he does your nails. I didn't address it then and I'm sorry for that. I will be addressing it if it ever happens again. I'm not there to chat with anyone, but I do not like feeling that the service for which I'm paying is the last thing on his agenda. Service was so bad. Helen was terrible. I had three people in one appointment doing my nails- one person Would get up and do something else and another would sit down. Three people total! When I asked them to put my flip flops on before they painted - they basically told me no because they had their own way of how they do it. What?! Don't expect any kind of service when you come here. great prices , my mom lives in the area and always told me to go there I never believed her until this past weekend I was home from school and desperately needed grooming . I get a pedicure about once a month.I tried LG nails in bridgeton recently after being given a gift card and they butchered the skin on the top of my toes. Scraping the skin so that it bled.When brought to the attention of the owner and staff they stated that I must have had an allergic reaction . Not so much as an apology just a ridiculous statement to a person who is not a new comer to pedicures.I find this very insulting unprofessional and would highly discourage going to this salon unless you like bloody feet read more
